Because we are shipping diamonds, gemstones and expensive fine watches (like the watch you ordered), we always ship with insurance, at no cost to the customer. This insurance does require the package be signed for and not just left on the doorstep. We would hate for a fine watch or diamond to go "missing."
Because of your very valuable comment we are reworking our website and order form so this Insurance Signature requirement is placed prominently at checkout. In this way customers will be aware of this requirement before ordering.
