"They exceed expectations each time I choose Gear West"

"Excellent!!!! I can not express how satisfied I was with the staff. We live here in Green Bay and have a ski shop but the staff there was totally unhelpful and rude. I phoned Gear West spoke to Skip (I think thats his name) and they answered all my questions and helped me with my purchase. The equipment came and is great. My son is set to roller ski in Central Park NY and he will be ready for another Korte come February. Thanks I will definately be doing more business with you!"

"I placed an order for XC boots and once in the shop I expanded the order. By the time I had gotten home, my order had shipped, They didn't have the boots or two other Items I ordered, and had already shipped the items that I had added. This feels 100% like a bait and switch. I was brought in by a web site that even showed the stock of the three items and let me purchase them, then the full priced items I ordered were shipped before i could cancel the order. I advise skipping this merchant; either they have a horrible stock system, or they are using non-existant sale items to lure costumers in.

Update: After working with Gear west, I'm convinced that there isn't any attempt to deceive people, but rather a horrible inventory system that creates these poor conditions.

If you choose to shop with them, I'd strongly advise calling them and getting confirmation that they have your items in stock before committing."
