"Since their website says "Orders usually ship in 1-3 days", I figured I was fine to order a Christmas present from them 12/15. Christmas Eve when I hadn't seen the package yet, I logged in to check my status. The items had not even been shipped.

Unfortunately this is when I came across the negative reviews on the company. Based on the feedback I decided to cancel my order.

After reading much feedback on other companies I placed an order Christmas day with trollandtoad.com . It shipped today and will be here before New Year's.

I am VERY thankful I knew not to wait on GameOutfitter. If I hadn't read the feedback here I would still be waiting for a shipping notice instead of having my games on the way. "

"Worst internet provider! As you can tell from all the other reviews, that I should have looked at before I bought! I searched for a place to let people know how bad they are 1 month later they told me it was out of stock. Said they shipped but trcking number does not show that at all only that they paid!!!! If you want to be frustrated buy from them. I am in talks to get my payment back."

"On December 22, 2007, we purchased two games from gameoutfitter.com. Their PP button wasn't functioning properly, so we received an e-mail from "Steve" that said to click the "Pay by Check/Money Order" button and go to PayPal and "Send Money" straight to their address. We immediately did that and then received this e-mail.

After two weeks, no e-mail had arrived (as promised) including a tracking number, nor had the games arrived. We e-mailed again and were told that they hadn't received the payment. Once I sent a copy of my PP receipt, they said "we'll get to it as soon as possible". That was five days ago. The next thing we get is an e-mail saying that it will take an additional 5-7 business days to process through their "billing department". We wish to conclude our one-sided business with these people and receive a full refund, so we have filed with PayPal for a chargeback. Bad news. Unfortunately, we didn't find resellerratings.com until two weeks had passed from the date of our payment to them. Late is better than never, though. Thanks for being here.

"I placed an order for 4 games on 11/24 and requested standard ground shipping since it was 1 month before Christmas Eve. Then I spent the next 3 weeks asking why my order had not shipped, when would it ship, etc. 24-48 hours for CS response...more like 5-7 days! I was sending an email every other day! I finally demanded they ship everything overnight at their expense - they didn't. They shipped 2 games on 12/19 via ground. They delivered on 12/24. The best part they charged me for all 4 games & shipping! The box contained no packing list, no info on when the other 2 games would ship. I emailed immediately on the 24th asking all this and still no response yet! Next time, I'll read the company's reviews before ordering!"

"Ordered two items - website said both were in stock. Received an email that one was unavailable. Agreed to let them ship one item and remove the other item from the invoice. Wehn it was billed to my card, the full amount showed up. I emailed and was assured that I would be refunded. Two weeks later I am still waiting on my refund. BEWARE OF THIS SELLER> BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!!"

"This company dropped the ball on 4 different occasions. I placed an order on 9/6 and was told in an email that my order would ship within 2 business days. About 5 days later I emailed to find out the status of the order and I was emailed a response on 9/13 and told at that time that one of the 4 products I had ordered was just put into stock and that my order would be shipped shortly. My credit card was charged on 9/6 and still I had no product and was told that it would ship shortly. I left about 4-5 voice mails on their tele # and every time it went to the answering machine saying that all representatives were busy helping people, I also sent 3 emails trying to find out why I was told that my order would ship by the 9th if items were not in stock. I got no response at all for about a week (mind I sent 4-5 voicemails and 3 emails that week). So on the 20th of September I received and email saying that my order was sent to a "wrong warehouse" and that they would be shipping my order asap at their expense. On the 23rd of September I received and email saying that my order had finally shipped (3 days after I got the email saying they were sending it out ASAP due to it being sent to a wrong warehouse) so I tracked it and delivery was slated for September the 28th (there was no rush put on the package it shipped UPS ground). I eventually got the package and gameoutfitter.com says they are going to do a refund for my s/h plus give me a refund for 10% off my order. To date I've seen the 10% refunded but I haven't seen the original s/h refunded. The only redeeming quality to this transaction is that I FINALLY got ahold of somebody to work that deal out after all of their bungles. I ordered on 9/6 and got my package on 9/28. Their phone service is a joke as one day I decided to spend some time trying to call them. I musta placed 20 calls at various times throughout the day and EVERY time it went to the answering machine. I learned through google that theses guys had outsourced their customer service to India. Must have been why nobody tried to contact me or they couldn't send more than 1 or 2 emails a week. Humbug to this company!"

"I ordered 11 items from the online store, all were listed as in stock. I received a confirmation and shipment notice 2 business days later. The package was delivered 2 days after that. Of the 11 items ordered, only 5 were in the package. There was no packing slip or invoice included in the box.

The next day I used the online contact form to inform them of the 6 missing items and also my displeasure at having been charged for the full amount. I received a prompt response from Vicky apologizing and indicating they would ship the missing items soon.

Days have passed and nothing more has happened. I have since contacted them again asking for clarification on the status of the missing items. If I don't hear anything within the next day or so I will try contacting them once again seeking to cancel the remaining items and failing that I will likely be contacting both my credit card company and the BBB because this level of customer service is completely unacceptable.

I can understand missing 1 or even 2 items from an order, but missing over half the items with no invoice to check to see what is going on? That is not good business.

Edit: Just an update, after repeated emails saying the missing items would be shipped failed to work I finally asked that the order be cancelled and money refunded. I did not get an immediate response so I waited a couple more days and then sent another request for cancellation & refund. I finally received a response to my initial request that same day saying the money for the missing items would be refunded plus the cost of shipping. Then I received another email from another customer representative responding to my second cancellation request with ANOTHER form letter saying they would check on why my order hadn't been shipped???? This place really, really needs to get its act together. Bottom-line, the money was indeed refunded according to my credit-card company and I am done with ever doing business with gameoutfitter.com. It's just not worth the hassle of a pittance in savings over some other online store."

"I ordered three games from this store 3 weeks ago. I never received an email with tracking information and, to date, have not received the order in the mail.

I emailed the company 1 1/2 weeks after I placed the order requesting tracking information. I still did not receive an email except for their automated response that they would get back to me in 1-2 business days. I waited 3 business days and still did not receive an email. I emailed them again.

This time I did receive a response a day later. The Customer Service Rep said that "It appears that your order has shipped, unfortunately I was unable to find your tracking number. We will do what we can to see if we can find one for you, but you should be receiving the package very soon." I emailed the rep back asking for the ship date. I never received a response other than their automated response. I emailed them again 4 business days later. I still have not received a response.

This was supposed to be a Christmas present and I thought that ordering it in the end of November would ensure that I would received the package in time. It is now 1 week before Christmas and I am very nervous about not receiving the order in time, esp. because I just checked my credit card statement and the purchase does not show up on it.

So it appears like my order was never filled (even though I have the confirmation) and I will not be receiving it from them. I decided to cancel my order and find it someplace else.

I will never order from this company again, even if they are cheaper than others. This hassle has not been worth the few dollars I could have saved.

I would not recommend ordering from this store. If you do, I would recommend registering with their system before purchasing. I did not do this but it looks like if I had, I would have been able to view my orders and shipping information through their site."

"They said they'd ship my order within 1 to 3 business days and email me the tracking number. It's now been 6 business daysand I still haven't heard a peep out of them, nor did they respond to an email inquiry I made concerning my order.

The phone number another reviewer listed below reaches a business, but not GameOutfitter.Com.

I will be canceling my order today, and will notify my credit card company to not honor any charges from GameOutfitter. Worst online company I have ever done business with."
