In the end, USPS did turn out to be reliable and fast (less than 10 days from US to Canada), but offered no tracking.
I was offered apologies and a reasonable gift certificate upon expressing my dissatisfaction with the shipping process."

"I would definitely do business with this company again. I got my item in three shipping days, which is incredible considering the shipping was free. Plus the deal I got (on the Neo Geo Pocket plus six games) was absolutely unbeatable. Thanks, guys!"
