"Recived order it was broken, called not able to speak with anyone, had to email. Went back and forth with them for three weeks about broken product. They sent me a expired return label and ten said "we have already paid for it and the money can't be sent back .So please send the item back at your own expensive" They closed my case and said nothing can be done."

"These people are absolute idiots to deal with. They refuse to remove sales tax for our non-profit organization which is tax exempt. They say they "cannot". Then I ask for their contact information and they say they can only email, no phone calls. The emails they send are in broken English at best, clearly an overseas shop pretending to reside in the Brooklyn, NY area. Their shipping takes 3+ weeks, again, a sign they are operating overseas. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. And if you do, check out their return policy first. It's an absolute joke. They only refund you 80% even if you return the item brand new and in new condition AND make you pay shipping both ways!!! "

"I ordered a Joyo Ultimate Drive pedal from them. They sent me a Joyo Ultimate Octave pedal instead. After two weeks of emailing info back and forth, I finally sent them a scan of the mailing label along with scans of the box that the wrong pedal came in. Even after I sent proof of their mistake, they sent an email saying that they didn't send the wrong pedal, that the Ultimate Overdrive is the same as the Ultimate Octave. And they said that if I want a refund, I have to pay to mail back the pedal they sent, even though it was their mistake. So basically they f**ked me over. Terrible customer service and completely incompetent workers. If they can, they will rip you off. Avoid at all costs."

"Ordered a case for my iPad on their website in ebay more then 2 months ago(Apr 10th), emailed them after a month and told them I haven't got it, they promised they will send me a new one.
Emailed them 2 days ago and haven't got their reply yet.
Really disappointed, can't understand how eBay don't do anything about it, bad for eBay reputation.

"Awful customer service. Their phone number does not work! They have it listed but you have to email them. Places an order with them over 2 weeks ago and while placing an order I thought there would be a place to input my new address and there wasn't so I called immediately and emailed them right away. It took them 2.5 days to respond and once they did they where not helpful at all. They sent me package to the wrong address and changed my card. after trying to get the package to the right address (me calling the post office and trying to hunt down where it was)... 2 weeks later I say just forget it it's being mailed back to you and I want a refund. They say I have to pay a shipping fee still for THEIR mistake and bad customer service. Do NOT buy from this company if you have any issues you won't even be able to talk to a real person. "

"Gadgettown do NOT ship product from Brooklyn, NY and I'm guessing they are barely (if at all) based there either. This is not disclosed. By the poor English and 3-5 weeks shipping times, they are based in Asia (electronics=china I'm guessing) and this is not disclosed.
Gadgettown is LYING and MISREPRESENTING their service to the public in that the products ordered through them are being shipped from overseas, _not_ from NY, and hence, take SIGNIFICANTLY longer to arrive.

"WARNING!!! This outfit is a SCAM. I ordered six different web cams from them almost a month ago. They never shipped them. I checked with "customer service" only to hear two conflicting stories about the fate of my cams. One rep claimed the goods had been returned because of an "incorrect address." Subsequently a second rep claimed that the goods were in a New Jersey post office. WHAT???

Of course I double checked the address on the order and the address is perfect. About a week ago I wrote "customer service" asking them to ship my cams by courier at my expense, and no one has even written me back.

I'm calling the card company to cancel the order today, and I'm taking every opportunity to warn people about this ridiculous scam.

"I ordered a remote control car for a gift on 12/08, was shipped on 12/09. I received it on 12/21. Sad thing is the package was a plastic shipping bag came basically unfit to give as a gift because the package was pretty much crushed also it took 12 days to travel only 30 miles."

"Buyer beware! This company has no customer service. Gadgettown shipped the wrong battery. It was clearly a wrong battery they shipped, the battery packaged was different than the invoiced battery. After contacting them via phone they sent email refusing to ship the correct one. Pretty much calling me a liar and demanding proof."

"Gadgettown is a poor-quality merchant. I bought an external disc drive from them a year ago because it was cheap ($23.00), but it failed after a few months. They replaced it with the same item (made by, I beleve, TEAC) but that one failed two weeks ago. I asked for a different item but they refused. I don't think items should stop working after six months. In addition, they could not locate the purchase based on amount and purchase date. I had to find it on their database and inform them."

"ordered a part on march 21st, shipped on the 23rd, but still not received 03/28/11 my product (they said it was 2-3 business days). no one answered their phone and they cant even construct a correct sentence via email. stopped payment and will never buy from here again or will ever recommend this site. dont buy from them unless you want to waste your time. its just some knock off drop shipper that has a very poor customer service and even worse products.
PS: i only gave them one star because you cant give them any less
