"I purchase a lot of photography equipment via the internet and, particularly with a new product, most of the online resellers outright lie about having the item in stock for immediate delivery.

When I decided to purchase a GPS I did quite a bit of research before deciding to get a Garmin nuvi 785T. It turned out that unit was so new it wasn't even listed on Garmin's factory outlet site yet and wasn't on any of the "big box" store sites either.

I called a few places I found on the internet but when it came down to "Can you actually DELIVER tomorrow?" all but two admitted they couldn't deliver yet.

Being very aware of my negative experiences with online camera sellers, I was more than a little wary when I saw the GPSNOW website. Not only did their site have far more information and specific details about the product than the manufacturer did, they also had a very low price and claimed they could indeed deliver the product "tomorrow."

Despite still being suspicious I placed my order. To my surprise and delight it arrived ahead of the scheduled delivery time the next afternoon and was exactly what I ordered, "new in the box" too.

Like a kid on Christmas morning I opened the box and immediately started playing with my new toy. My only experience, and my inspiration for purchasing a GPS in the first place, was renting a car that had a GPS. That turned out to be a Godsend and I wanted one. The nuvi 785T is simple to use and both my wife and I are already convinced it will be an indispensible travel aide for us.

We're exceptionally pleased with both the product and with GPSNOW and their five star service! We'd highly recommend GPSNOW."

"This company has a lot going for it. I ordered on 10/3 (friday), they shipped the same day and I received it on Monday 10/6). They were the first ones to have the item in stock. So far so good.

But for each item they sell, they have customer reviews. Sounds good except that they only publish the great reviews. Reviews that are not 4 or 5 star are not published. It doesn't matter how true or honest the review is, it doesn't get published.

With your order, they promise a $20 coupon if you write a review. I did. It wasn't a 5 star review and it never got published. It was honest and well written. It did not attack or blame GPSNOW. I tried to review the item based on my experience.

I emailed them after to inquire my email never got published, no reply.

So, as good as they may be as a merchant, their policy of publishing only the great reviews hurts my experience with them. I feel this is dishonest and wonder if the reviews that are published are even legit and written in house.

Shame on you GPSNOW."

"Bought Garmin GPS car navigation kit for my GPSMAP60csx. Cost ~$160, the best price around. Arrived on time, just what I ordered. I wish I would have known about GPSNOW when I bought my GPS unit just two weeks ago. Would have saved over $100. Didn't have to deal with customer service, so can't comment on that aspect."

"A hard-to-find GPS was in stock at a reasonable price. It shipped the same day even though I ordered it at 4:30 pm Central Time. They even called me to confirm the order since I was having it shipped to my office rather than my billing address. Just be sure to check their refund policy -- this is not a good dealer to consider if you are uncertain which model you want. But in my case, I would definitely consider GPSNow for another GPS."

"I could not have asked for a better shopping experience. The company notified me the moment they received inventory from Garmin, I placed my order online, and received it two days later by Fed Ex 2day as requested. This is my second purchase from GPSnow.com. The first, while just a book, went equally well."

"Their price was very competitive and fulfillment process is extremely quick. The overnight shipping cost is very reasonable as well.

I ordered my GPS and selected overnight shipping. Received invoice and shipping confirmation the same day and the item arrived the very next day.

Had an excellent experience; very satisfied.

"I ordered a Garmin C330 from GPSNow on Wednesday at a substantially lower price by far than anything I could find on the internet. It was shipped the same day and I received it on Friday. No problems at all. I would definitely order from them again. Be sure to read their return policy which may be more strict than some, but still reasonable. "

"I ordered an IQue M5. Ordering, on time arrival were fine but they have a shit return policy. The M5 was faulty out of the box, the touch screen function were not operational. I called them and was told to return it and pay for shipping and insurance. I said that would increase my cost by 10% and was totally unacceptable. She said thats the company policy that even if the product is faulty out of the box customers must keep paying return shipping because they woun't take the item back for a refund.

Never doing business with these jerks"

"I purchased a Garmin GPSMap 76 from gpsnow.com. They advertised the item in stock, and it was!! I requested overnight shipping, and the item arrived at my door the next day. This is especially impressive since they were in the middle of a snow storm, and they still got the item shipped.

I had a conversation with customer service prior to placing my order, and they were very friendly, extrememly helpful, and very honest. They told me about the possible delay because of the snowstorm ahead of time (at the risk of me not placing the order).

They had the lowest price on this product that I was able to find anywhere.

I would highly recommend them, and will buy from them again."

"Ordered a DeLorme Earthmate GPS for my car which also included Street Atlas 2005 from GPSNow (which is actually 4 x 4 Books) late (4:30 pm CDT) on Friday 9/24/04. The web site indicated that orders received before 5 pm central time would be shipped the same day. Well, to my total suprise, THEY DID IT! I received a confirmation shortly after I ordered and then a shipping notice 30 minutes later! How refreshing for an etailer! I had multiple shipping options, however I chose the most inexpensive (USPS $4.90)since my next business trip wasn't scheduled for a couple of weeks and this method indicated could take from 2 days to over 1 week. Lo and behold it was delivered to my door yesterday (Monday 9/27) before noon which is not even one complete business day! The package arrived in great shape in it's factory box. I will definitely order from these folks again! Keep up the great work GPSNow! "
