The floor lamp did arrive as promised on the designated date with no defects. Assembley went smoothly with the instructions that were given. It has been almost 2 months and the lamp is working perfectly. I really like the dimmer switch which allows me to adjust the lighting as needed. The base is very heavy which keeps it from tipping over and the neck allows for different positions. Working at my computer for eight hours every day the dimmer is set on low to medium which helps with the eye strain. Since my office is set up for ergonomics my desk and chair seem to sit higher, so the option to adjust the height would have been a plus. At this point I am very pleased with the lamp and service.
