I needed the TV by last weekend and reluctantly took the \u0022White Glove\u0022 delivery option they provide, after reviewing their website extensively and determining that this should result in the TV being unpacked and plugged in and all packaging materials discarded. This should have taken 2 days. (see links to Frys site below for details)<br><br>To put this into perspective, the TV was purchased for $699 and the delivery charge is $184.00, rather hefty, but I was expecting such service !<br><br>From the Fry\u0027s website \u0022White glove service is available at an additional cost. \u0022White Glove\u0022 service includes disposal of packaging and delivery to your room of choice. Televisions and major appliances delivered using the \u0022White Glove\u0022 service will be plugged in and powered up.\u0022<br><br>I inquired about my order daily, I could never track it with the tracking site and the fastest reply to inquiries has been 2 days for a reply basically saying it is on it\u0027s way.<br><br>Finally the TV was delivered today (7 days from order). The box was simply dumped at the closest spot to my front door, no unpacking, no plugging in, no carrying to the room of my choice, no \u0022White Glove\u0022 treatment.<br><br>Sadly this all seems to be one big fat LIE ...<br><br>From what I have experienced I will NEVER order anything from Frys online again. Well one week later this eighty dollar phone died. I called the manufacturer and they told me that I need to return the device to Frys. I called Frys and they told me to return it to a Frys location. But the problem is that there is no Fry\u0027s in Hawaii. I bought a TV online while in the airport returning from vacation, with in store pickup. The next morning when I next checked my e-mail there was an e-mail from them saying I had to pick up the TV the same day (now yesterday). When I called customer service I was told that, although I had put in all of my personal and credit card information, I hadn\u2019t actually bought the TV, I had only reserved it at the store, and they would not now honor the price. Today the TV is $800 more expensive. I spoke to online customer service, then 4 different people at the local store. They thought this policy made sense. Nowhere on the site did it say that I wasn\u2019t actually purchasing the TV, and nowhere did it say that I would have to pick it up on the same day. Get an email later saying I must pick up the tv that same day or the price would change! called frys customer service and explained I just got the email and there\u0027s no way I can arrange for a truck to pick up the tv in 15mins before they close. The rep told me since they did not charge my card than there\u0027s nothing they can do. When I asked if i could go pay it and pickup later as an option, she told me I must take it that same day. They really tore me a new one. "Bought big screen TV and took 2 months to arrive. when delivered found screen was smashed in after removing top cover box and TV still on base box it came in with. Fry's will not replace but decided to submit claim to manufacturer and will not do anything until then. I never encounter such merchant like Fry's. they are very unique group of merchant. BIG BIG mistake shopping at Fry's. Stay away from buying at Fry's if you want to keep your stress level low and keep your sanity.... Buyers beware!!!!!"
