"I placed an order from Fogdog through Amazon.com on 12/02. The shirt was shipped out via FedEx on 12/05, although I received notification that it shipped on 12/04, and was received on 12/07. Item was as expected and in good condition.

As it was a gift, I would have liked to been able to include a gift note with the item. The item did invoice did show that it was billed to me, but unfortunately it also showed how much it cost."

"I ordered a leatherman wave from here because of free shipping and no tax. According to their site they had it in stock and normally ships in 1 - 2 business days. I placed my order on a monday and kept checking the status each day but nothing happened, so I dropped them an email on Friday asking them what the hold up was because it was in stock. They got back to me giving me the usual song and dance saying they're working on it. Well I guess that got their attention because they shipped it out the next day via USPS Priority mail and arrived today (Monday 2/9) I'm satisfied with the product but their service is a little sluggish. I still would recommend buying from them again. "

"Difficult to cancel orders, sometimes longish waits on hold. CSR's are decent and email response was good (< 1 day personal response)."

"It was my first time ordering on Fogdog.com and it was a pretty good experience. I ordered a Adidas NBA Sacramento Kings Warm-Up Jacket on Black Friday for only $33 ($100 Retail price) with free shipping. I Ordered it on Black Friday and just received it today! Shipping is slower than molasses but, great price nonetheless! I would only buy on this site if the deal is too good to pass up or not in a hurry to use the item."

"First time shopping online with sports authority (i think they changed it from fogdog to sa when sa bought out copelands)

Anyways, the hockey gear was shipped promptly and the fitment and quality of the gear was good. Didnt really interact with customer service but the checkout process weas smooth"

"My daughters bOught me a gift certificate from fogdog because they had a line of fishfinders that I was interested in. After gettinG the certificate I went online only to find out they had discontinued that line and would not tell me if they were going to carry it again and would not refund the money. So I was stuck with a credit at their company and nothing I wanted to purchase.
I asked to speak with a manager. She was uncooperative and rude. I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. (and I suggest you don't either !) This is the worst kind of online service imaginable. I would rate it a 0.0 across the board !!! "

"HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT as a first-time buyer. Item, stated as IN-STOCK, was purchased as a gift. Several hours after purchase, product was taken off their website with no explanation or email notices. Several weeks later, received a cancellation notice from the merchant with no explanation. Do you call this customer service?!? If you expect a decent and reasonable level of customer service, AVOID THIS MERCHANT!!! I will never shop here again."

"It took over two weeks to be notified that the product I ordered was 'unavailable'. Being this was a gift I ordered and I was waiting on, I find this 'customer service' highly unacceptable. "

"Be ready for a minimum of 30 minutes on hold to talk to someone--which I had to do twice. In short, my product was shipped to THE WRONG STATE and FogDog refused to cancel my order or immediately refund my money. All they did was blame the shipper (but in the same breath admitted that it could also be a mistake by their warehouse.) Even when it is clear that the item was never delivered to me, FogDog still requires that you wait for them to get a refund from the shipper before they would issue refund me--and they refused to cancel the order or provide a replacement. Even after admitting that the shipping error could be by their warehouse, they still resfuse to refund payment for items not received.

Also, after saying I would be contacted in 24-48 hours after my first call, it became clear during the 2nd call that there was no intent to provide updates."
