In Hong Kong time: Ordered Wed, Oct 29th, early afternoon and received an email Tue, 11/3 (5 days later) that is was shipped. HK mail shows the pkg being dropped off 11/4, and staying in HK until the 11th.  
 
In US time: it arrived in the US on the 13th and at its final destination on the 16th.  
 
Moral of the story: unless you can wait 3.5 weeks for your order to arrive, order from someone else. The items were great, but the order processing and shipping time leaves something to be desired.

I have got the telephone, in him was not a russian language. Has Reported on this support. Have refund $15. On these money can solve a problem in local service.

I became familiar with this website via a Paypal promotion that has been mentioned before. I placed that initial order in October, it was promptly shipped via FREE registered airmail. It has yet to arrive, I probably should have waited for it to arrive before placing another order.  
 
UPDATE: Got the first order just now. The "package" (a large bubble lined envelope with everything loosely flopping around inside) was labeled "Received from air carrier in damaged condition rewrapped Honolulu post office". I haven't tested anything yet but can say one of the 5 items is missing.  
 
That aside I placed another order 11.6.09, paying extra for EMS shipping. It is now 11.16.09 and the order is still unshipped which kind of makes the extra for expedited shipping a waste. I tried contacting them via "Live Help", it doesn't work and offers a message box which I have used twice now to contact them. I tried contacting them through "My Message", that wouldn't work either. I have also emailed them directly. All of my inquiries have gone unanswered. They had no problem taking my money but I guess post sale customer service is non existent.  
 
Since I paid for the order I have received absolutely zero communication, not even a confirmation email. Nothing stating why my order might be delayed so I would have the option to remove or replace items that might be backordered, etc. Sure their prices are great but what good is that if you ever get them.  
 
At this point I am very displeased with this company.

Instead of sending me the 8GB Kingston Class4 Micro-SDHC TF Card 8G I ordered they sent me a "Sony" 8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo ( I can't even assume this is a legit Sony because there are reports of fakes on the internet). I had to email them many times because they kept asking for additional information, including pictures of the wrong item.  
They asked me to keep the wrong item in exchange for a future 5% discount. When I told them I wanted the item I actually ordered, they asked for an additional $10 to correct their mistake or for me to send the item back to Hong Kong at my expense.

I had some wrong shipment issues with focalprice. After a couple of RMA emails, I got 100% refund for the wrong shipments. Initial RMA support person was not that helpful. However the customer service person helped me to get the refund.  
 
Great service Focal price.

Took a while to have my ordered processed, but after my input they processed it. However, an item is still missing, as it was back-ordered. Due to be in stock 1-2 weeks after the first shipment (Oct.16), it's still not in stock (Nov.4). One broken item due to the use of just a padded envelope, but I got a refund for more than the item's price. That's good! I'll keep on shopping at this site.

Had an issue with a backorder even when the site showed products as "in stock," but Louis gave me some spectacular service when he became aware of it.  
 
Evidently, they care about their rating and are willing to take care of their customers. I can't comment on how long shipping may or may not take as my order will be cancelled (too long of backorder), but I can say they seem to be more than willing to straighten things out.

I have been given the runabout for missing items now since May 2009 but thanks to this website, resellerratings.com I have tried to keep my orders below $100 at a time at focalprice due to the bad reviews. So my loss wouldn't be that great - thanks Resellerattings.com.  
Still, they have items that I like and their prices are very cheap.  
Such a pity - I am too reluctant to place bigger orders and instead have been giving the bigger ones to DX but even DX has slid down the ladder.  
I need to buy more items but have no where to buy them from.  
I hope focalprice gets better as I really like the webshop but if things stay the same I guess many more will eventually stay away.

I went to this site for a Paypal offer which made me rely on this site. I ordered 3 items of worth $20 on 22nd October.  
 
1. The status of my order still shows as "Unshipped".  
2. I never got a confirmation email from focalprice about my order confirmation.  
3. My payment from Paypal were deducted on 24th October.  
4. The website also offers some way to verify your email to earn points but when I click to get confirmation email I never get those email. So it seems they are just fooling the customer by offerring 58 points for email confirmation.  
5. For email confirmation there was a an alternative to send email to the site admin but they never responded to my email.  
 
I am keeping my fingers crossed and will wait for few more days. If the product does not ship I will hit paypal on this.

Ordered sku.LP076X(Professional Anti Green Laser Glassess) and sku.LP041B(200mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer (Black))  
 
Glasses are fine! But laser pointer was broken (factory defect, not focalprice fault). Focalprice support team responded with lighting speed and offered to send a new one or process a refund without sending the broken one back! Good Job!

submitted order on 25th of september. FOCALPRICE SHOWS IN SYSTEM THAT I ORDERED ON 30TH! Total LIE. 2 weeks passed without order being shipped. Multiple emails sent asking nicely about my order. TOTALLY IGNORED. Now i am sitting, MORE THAN 3 WEEKS AFTER ORDERED with a pending "shipped" WILL NEVER BUY FROM AGAIN AND WILL DISPUTE CHARGES WITH PAYPAL.  
 
 
EDIT: Still unhappy and have not recieved my items yet. BUT after sending many emails directly to them it took a review on this site to get their attention. They gave me a credit of $30 and told me to wait 20 more days for my items. ARE YOU WALKING IT FROM CHINA?! Atleast evenually they decided to respond to me  
 
Second EDIT 11/4. Items in question still have not been received. Paypal has sided in my favor (duh) and refunded my money. On a side note 2 other orders that i ordered the day after first order i did receive 28 days after ordering. Although the customer service rep has been in constant communication with me about what's going on. Sort of.

Your experience has brought you to resellerratings. Now you know never to buy from Focalprice.  
 
They ignore your order and send you what ever items they feel like. After that they stall you so it's too late to do anything about it with PayPal. Most of my order was complete, but correcting it has been an extreme hassle which doesn't even seem like it will result in my favor. Because of the lack of respectable customer support I rank this store poorly and tell everyone they should avoid it.  
 
If you don't open a PayPal dispute, they will beat around the bush to frustrate you to the point of giving up. They use the fact that their English grammar is poor to pretend there's a language barrier causing struggle with the transaction. One does not need to speak proper English to understand the concept bartering. Because I'm a customer who is making noise about an incorrect order, they're giving me grief about it by pretending not to understand what I'm asking for.  
 
All of their positive reviews are obviously forged by them. It's not a coincidence every 5 point review on has terrible English. Should there be any issue with your order, and there WILL be, you get to 'communicate' with that ;-)  
 
This store personally affected me with a bait and switch. Their RMA department has been trying to stall me for a month, but I opened a Paypal dispute before the 45-day window expired. I tried telling them they got the order wrong and what I was supposed to get. Their method of resolving it was offering coupons for the next purchase and asking I pay additional shipping for the missing items.  
 
As of this point I'm being told things are being mended, but they still don't understand what I was asking. One thing was that I ordered 72mm lens cap, which they then changed the website's SKU description to read 67mm and sent me 67. I've reiterated to them several times about what I need, but they're sending me another 67mm simply because all they want to look at is their SKU.  
 
Another issue is that I ordered a laser pointer powered by AA batteries and they sent one that is not. It takes a rare type of Lion instead. I had to argue with the RMA department to tell them it's not acceptable to tell me I should live with this because the models are similar priced. Then one item didn't make it in the package altogether. Only until I said something about it they told me it was back ordered. Every store I've used would tell me something is back ordered within a day of paying for it.  
 
They deserve this negative review for making their mistakes into an argument over who should be paying for it. Because to them if you gave them money and they sent you random things, you shouldn't be complaining. Sorry, but I don't use "random grab bag" stores.  
 
Summary  
1. Shifty language barrier tactics  
2. Writes own store reviews  
3. Takes your money and stops caring  
4. Will get order wrong either to move other stock or inept shipping department  
5. Stalls you for time to get the paypal deadlines over with  
6. Will paste a huge general apology letter for everyone to claim they'll be there for you and that they care so much and feel sad you're unhappy.  
7. Edit: They don't know how to email a notice and just sent a global email to many customers while revealing all addresses to every recipient.
