"review - My First Bad experience with focalpriceHello Everyone around one month ago i did a mistake and decide to buy tablet from focalprice for send it as gift for my friend in other country. the tablet is Ainol Novo 10 Hero 10.1, i found very good feedback for the tablet so i decide to choese it, i order it and then pay it, and i asked the store to check it before ship it because i don't want to have any problems, and they said : yess all our products tested and bla bla bla ..... ok after one month my friend got the tablet and it is broken from the side and the 2 cameras doesn't work and have other problems like the screen response is weirdly badi asked for refund on paypal and store and opened RMA request, and decide to ship it back, i asked for give me money for ship it back because its not fault !! i asked to check it before ship it but they didn't !!!!! but they offer me coupon instead of shipping fees !! come on ! do you think i am going to buy more from this store !!!today my friend went to ship it back and they told him he have to buy customs too ! so its not only the shipping fees there is customs too in the end thats what i got after i ordered from focalprice1. one month waiting 2.then got very bad tablet3.i have to pay around 23$ shipping fees 4.i have to buy tax around 30$ !!!!!5.when i'll get my refund i'll lose around 5$ paypal feesi think the store should cover everything or just send new one !!! because its their fault !!!WTF focalprice !!! i feel you sell me this just for make it away of youwell well well i found review for focalprice and its seems as my problem, so i think this well organized mistake that focalprice do for send away the broken tabletsDaisy Cruz Thursday, April 04, 2013 Worst company ever I spend $145usd on two tablets. I have been dealing with them for over 2 weeks and nothing These people are horrible please guys be ware of this *** company. Do not buy from them "
"I am a regular client and although the things I buy from them are usually ok, one purchase - quite an expensive flashlight came with a defect. I was very pleased to dicover that the friendly team of focal price dealt quickly with my RMA request, and after proving the defect with a short videoclip, I was sent another new item fully free of charge. I am very pleased with their service and highly recommend the client's comfort that they ensure. "
"These guys used to be pretty good, but are now absolutely terrible. I've used them about 5 times, and shipping always takes an age to the UK, but recently they have held shipment for weeks, and changed shipment when they've already told me that my stuff is on the way.Most recently they have sent BS emails saying that my credit card may be stolen and that I need to send a photo copy of the front and back of my card! This is something that they should not ask for, or need; and if they ask you to do it, refuse - you open yourself up to fraud and your bank will not refund you anything if you willing supply this info to anyone.Ordering by Paypal seems to be the only way to go, but recently they have started sending the wrong items. I am sure that this is on purpose as they know that sending stuff back to them is really not feasible.I will not be using this company ever again, and I urge you to look at all the negative reviews and boycott them too."
"This is not a good company. My daugher bought a tablet from them on 12/27/12. They requested a copy of my debit card, front and back, which will not happen. I asked for a refund and they sent it to paypal, which I do not use and was not my method of payment. I tried to dispute with my bank but since they said they refunded me my bank deined it. Now it is April 12, 2013 and I still do not have my money or a tablet. I have been fighting with them for 4 months to get my 10 year old daughters Christmas money back. I will never use them again or recommened them to anoyone. I tell everyone to stay away. Very bad business practice for the company."
"I ordered through Paypal on April 6, but never heard about the order for 5 days. So far, I sent them 3 e-mails but they never mentioned that the order has arrived. I wonder why Paypal is keeping them on the list. Focalprice keep sending decent polite emails to let time pass buy but they don't do anything. I send the order number in my second email text and I attached pictures (jpg files) from Paypal: their answer was: "we can't open and read the attached file!s! Please send it again to another email address!! So I did and I am waiting,Second, when I placed the order, their specs said the battery power was 3000AH and it should last for 4 hours on the average. Today, their website changed the specs to 2000AH without saying how many hours it would last! (it would last for 1.5 hours according to the web). What do you call this act?I sent my 3rd email and said either deliver with the promised specs or refund to Paypal immediately. Never received an answer."
"I ordered a phone from focalprice and after SIX days of waiting they tell me that the phone is not in stock and I would have to wait another FIVE to SEVEN days just to get it shipped out. I was ordering this for a customer of mine, and he did not want to wait that long. So I tried to cancel the order, and I have heard nothing back from them in days. They wont contact me and they wont return my money. Buyer be were this company only wants your money and does not care about you or your customers."
"I've been buying things form focalprice for over 2 years now. With a total of $200. The products ALWAYS arrive. Sometimes it takes longer than the other times, but that's not their fault, I think. One time my item broke while being shipped, and they gave me a coupon. So, my summary: Great, cheap site, with good customer-service!"

"Terrible!!!Today is March 7, 2013, and just found out my order hasn't been shipped yet. When I purchased the item Sunday, March 3rd, I paid good money to have it delivered in 4 or 5 days. I never received a shipping notification all week. I found out it wasn't shipped by logging on their site today. I wasted all week because of this so called business.The day after I ordered on Sunday, the company emails me asking to confirm my information or the order would be cancelled if there wasn't a reply in 5 days. Luckily I checked my email that day or I would have been waiting and then cancelled.This was the worst transaction I have ever made with a company.I asked for a refund and all they can say the order is cancelled. I cannot get them to say or write anything about receiving a full refund.After researching the focalprice name I found there are many unhappy customers. I want to report this to PayPal for future knowledge and possibly they will stop doing business with them.The item was advertised as being in stock but when I was on live chat with them today they stated it didn't ship because inventory shortage. This was my worst business transaction ever and not sure if I’ll ever get a refund.Another unhappy customer........................."
"My experience with Focalprice has been solid - through two years and almost $1000 worth of purchases. Sure, their shipping is slow. Many negative reviews here talk about slow shipping times. However, planning ahead and taking that into account, I have reliably ordered several items from them and will continue to do so in the future."
"I purchased a Tablet on February 8th and payment was subited immediatly through Pay Pal, the tablet I selected not only met my needs but also I made sure was in stock before purchase to ensure a quicker delivery (per Focal Price).After a week without any notification from Focal Price I emailed asking for a transaction and tracking number, it took 1 week for them to respond asking me for the tracking number I was asking for.Finally on February 25th I recieve an email stating the tablet was shipped on the 19th along with transaction and tracking numbers. I proceed to look online to find that the expected delivery date is March 13th which is completely unacceptable since the original estimated delivery date was 7 to 15 business days, this is 8 days after the 15 business day maximum listed on their site.This tablet was to be used for a business presentation the weekend of the March 2nd and 3rd however I am now left scrambling to find another tablet (my own fault for trusting writen information on the site and not having a back up plan)."
