"I ordered 2 2gig Kingston sd cards and received 2 no-named cards. After emailing them I returned the cards and also was charged a return fee. I contacted my credit card company which pointed out a phone number next to the charge that I should call. I did get a refund of the restocking fee. Please challenge the charges and restocking fee with your credit card company. It can't hurt and you may get your money back. I have learned at least one valuable lesson in all this. NEVER buy from an online store unless it has very good reviews. I wish I would of found about this site and Biz Rate's site before I bought anything from the Flash Memory Store.

IF THIS HELPS THIS IS THE PHONE NUMBER THAT WAS ON MY CREDIT CARD FOR THIS STORE;

847-714-1177"

"WARNING! Fraudulent Online Merchant involved in massive Bait-and-Switch operation with memory products. It's a Win-Win situation for this Merchant because they still will make at least a $15 PROFIT from you if YOU RETURN the Item!

If you don't believe this, search for FLASMEMORYSTORE.COM reviews and you will find way too many people who have ordered a specific brand name product only to receive a NO Brand, NO Label, Generic Knockoff product.

It happened to me when purchasing an SD memory card for my camera. After I complained their emails are as follows:

EMAIL SENT-"Received some kind of generic 2gb memory that is not kingston 133x Ultra - will wait couple of days fro your response then will take it up with my bank for CC fraud"

RESPONSE RECEIVED: "Alex Koval - FlashMemoryStore.com / If you want to return item, please use the attached form. The truth is in this case is lack of education about these products. Only people who do not know anything about this industry react so. We still have only 4% return rate

I promptly returned the Item without waiting for their RMA.

I have disputed the entire charge with my bank.

I have sent the details of this fraudulent transaction along with any other similar reviews to the Florida State Attorneys office for their review.

You should do the same if taken advantage by this fraudulent merchant. ... "

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I ordered a 2G thumbdrive WITH priority 2-day shipping, because it was listed as "IN STOCK" on 5/5/06. After 3 weeks with no responses to their e-mail form, and nobody returning messages left at their business phone, I e-mailed again to cancel my order ONE MONTH LATER.

On 7/7/06, my Visa was charged for the drive, and it was FINALLY shipped to me (after retail price had dropped $20 *AND* I had tried to cancel my order.

I am now in the midst of a dispute through my bank to reverse the charges, as FlashMemoryStore won't even so much as return a phone call."

"I like others have suffered a bait and switch by this store. I ordered two 2 GB ATP secure digital cards only to recieve 2 Q memory- generic store brand cards. From reading other reviews, I know I can expect to pay a restocking fee on the bait and switch. "

"I ordered a Lexar Jump Drive, and instead received a "Super Talent" flash drive. What a ripoff! The invoice clearly says "Lexar" but the product is a knock off. One phone call message and two emails have led to no response from this sorry excuse for a merchant. "

"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE.
I placed an order for two SanDisk 512MB SD card and a Kodak SD card reader. What they shipped me were cheap generic products that are not listed anywhere on their web site. When I objected to the substitutions, they said that I would have to return them AT MY EXPENSE. When I returned them, they made no attempt to ship me the correct products, but instead, refunded part of my money. They not only refused to refund the shipping costs, they withheld an additional $4 for no stated purpose. I am not the only one to be subjected to this bait and switch tactic. They apparently count on people accepting the bogus merchandise, so they can make a hefty profit shipping cheap generic products. Don't trust all of the logos at the bottom of their web page either. Cnet lists them as a company that is using their logo without permission. Bizrate does not list them at all. The BBB lists them as having an unsatisfactory record. The Attorney General of Illinois is investigating them."

"These people are just flat CROOKS! I ordered a SONY memory stick, they shipped me a SANDISK! When I accused them of BAIT AND SWITCH, they tried to show me their "substitution page & policy". I am afraid to send the item back now, knowing that they may charge some exorbant restocking fee! I have been back and forth with them numerous times. They are TRULY DISHONEST AND JUST A TERRIBLE BUNCH OF THIEVES! STAY AWAY!"

"Avoid like the plague!

I ordered a 2GB Kingston SD memory card from these people and I have yet to receive it. I can't get in contact with the because their toll free # is just a voicemail!

On top of that, their confirmation e-mail said I should be charged 60.25 $CAD but instead I was charged 72.75 $CAD!!!

The e-mails I've sent have all gone unanswered. Even if I do receive my SD card, I will NEVER do business with them ever again.

Avoid like the plague!"

"I ordered two 1GB Kingston 133x Secure Digital Cards (KNGSD/1GBU). I received two QMemory 150x Secure Digital Cards. The invoice reflects what I ordered. Further investigation via internet reveals that Flash Memory Store.Com appears to be the only store to supply the QMemory Cards. There are no other references to be found via the internet for Qmemory except for a website that has no real contact information. The products I received are in unsealed packages, and the cards do not look as picture on the website. There are no external reviews for this company pro or con anywhere on the the web. The company's website boasts this to be the fastest card available. How is it possible that this company has never been heard of? I have sent an email and left a message with an answering machine. I am still awaiting a response."
