reply posted May-15-2013 “Thank you for your feedback. Please let us know of your order number so we can provide a more specific answer. However, have you checked that your Galaxy S3 patch is correctly installed, and that your charger (if not ordered from FastTech), is completely Qi compatible?
We have staffs here who use the Galaxy S3 and the Qi patch and chargers work perfectly.
For most products, FastTech screens, checks, and tests each single unit shipped. This ensures all products are in the working order upon delivery. However just like any and all electronics, failures could still occur after some usages.

UPDATE: Thank you for providing your ticket number. I didn't have your order number before so I assumed you are using a "patch". Now that I have your order number, I'm aware that you have ordered a Qi backplate not a Qi patch. As you have already sent out the return, we are going to ship you the replacement immediately. In addition, we will reimburse you the costs for sending the faulty plate back.

UPDATE again :) : I cannot say if the patch is better than the backplate but those of us who personally have S3 here all use the patch and they work fine. If you want to swap your backplate to a patch, let us know and we'll arrange.
