"We used the fastfloors web site and quote service to find our new flooring. The site was very helpful and we found all the information we needed. We ended up purchasing from one of their partners. The whole process was very simple and really quick. I did read some of the negative reviews but apparently the company that used to handle the sales on the fastfloors web site closed last year. We had zero issues dealing with the website."
"Please be cautious and DO NOT purchase your flooring simply because you think you will be saving money - in the end you will pay more. I have never been so disappointed, and while they also state how the floor you purchase is covered by the manufacturer - IT IS NOT!! I am simply disappointed in my self for believing their claims, when I had that voice in the back of my head saying 'don't do this'. So it's simply my opinion, but I hope it helps smeone."
"This is what I had to do before I FINALLY got my money back. This is my last and final email to FastFloors/Tonger Industries and maybe it will be of some help for you to resolve your issue with these people.
October 4, 2011 Dear Tonger Industries/Fast Floors, I have been a very patient man since I placed my order (# xxxxxx) with you on August 10, 2011. On August 11, 2011 you informed me the material is in stock at the manufactures warehouse and it would be two-three weeks delay on shipping. Then on August 29, 2011 you informed me you could not obtain the materials and you cancelled my order. You also stated at that time you would forward my order to your accounting department in order for them to process my refund of $1549.29. I waited until September 15, 2011 to contact you for my refund and you responded that I would have to file a dispute through my bank against Tonger Industries for credit back to my credit card. This I did not understand since I paid with a check (# xxxx) not credit card. The back of the check clearly shows it was a direct deposit to FastFloors Citibank account located in Coconut Creek, FL 33063. Nevertheless I did as you instructed. I also informed you on September 22, 2011 that my bank could do nothing since I voluntarily gave you the check. On September 23, 2011 you sent me your apologies because I received a template email that was meant for credit card purchases and having paid by check a refund would be issued to me in a few days. Well, those few days have come and gone with no refund. It appears that you are deliberately stalling and have no intention of refunding my money. So therefore if I do not receive my $1549.29 in a timely manner (3 days) I shall be forced to do the following:
I will fax over all copies and correspondence of subject matter to your local district Federal Bureau of Investigations Office (FBI) located in Miami, phone # 305-787-6538 and file internet theft charges against FastFloors. http://www.fbi.gov/miami/
I will mail all copies and correspondence of subject matter to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department phone # 954-828-5700 and file theft charges against FastFloors for the sum of $1549.29. I have already received their forms and have filled them out; all I need to do is mail the paperwork back with my signatures. 1300 W Broward Blvd. Fort Lauderdale FL 33312 (954) 828-5700
I will fax over all copies and correspondence of subject matter to the Better Business Bureau located in West Palm Beach, phone # 561-842-1918 and file a scam complaint against FastFloors for unprofessional business practices. I’ve already talked to them and all I need to do is fill out their form. http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/
I will fax over all copies and correspondence of subject matter to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx . This complaint against FastFloors will be filed with the National FBI, the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).
I will also attach a sticky website that will appear with FastFloors domain stating Fast Floors is a rip-off; they will take your money and not deliver materials. That can be done right now.
Finally I will put blogs out on Facebook, twitter, Craigslist, Amazon and eBay or any other site I may find and inform the public how FastFloors is not the place to shop.
I give you this final chance to make things right. I have tried numerous times to contact you by phone to no avail and apparently your email correspondence is just a stall. I may be reached anytime at etc. etc.
I emailed this in the morning and Tonger contacted me via email a cashier’s check was in the mail with tracking number. Got the check for the right amount and wasted no time to deposit.
It is a shame people have to go to such drastic measures but in the end it finally worked out. Thank God! "
"Fast Floors is bankrupt. They take your order, claim to have product instock and available and take your money. Then no product ever arrives, they hang up the phone after you wait an hour for information. 2 months later they tell you they are broke and cannot send you a refund. Call your Bankcard. Do not give them any money! How much worse can it get? "
They took my money on August 9th, told me by e-mail on August 29th that they couldn't fulfill it. It has been 6 weeks and they still have my money. Tonger Industries went out of business! I should have known. It was all e-mail and internet based, and when you call accounting you have to leave a message (no live people to talk to)!

Ken Herbert looks like he is part of other companies, so be wary!
"What a mistake! The price was great but the delivery, both time and quality, was terrible. We order hardwood flooring and it took 10 weeks to get the material. They told me it would come from the manufacturer in about 6 - 10 days. After a few weeks I had to call and get an updated, at which time I was told the flooring "wasn't on the truck" and they had to reorder. The worst part of the story is the flooring was badly damaged in shipment. I offered to go through each box and find the damaged pieces to put aside for the damage claim. I was told by Gerad Cuozzo that they would me mail me a check for the damaged material. I've called and let more than a dozen messages over the last two months and still no check. Oh, and let me not forget the promise of getting a 3% rebate for paying with check. Never got that either. By far my worst internet buying experience."
"We ordered tile on 8/6/11, paid in full on our credit card. Three weeks later, we received a notice that they couldn't get our tile, and a refund would be processed. About four days later (9/2) we got a notice saying our refund was processed for the full amount. Today (9/7) we were informed by tonger.com to dispute the charge directly with our credit card company and their excuse "per our credit card merchant company, you will need to dispute the charge through the bank to receive the credit." because they are not processing credits.
"Purchased custom flooring on 5/24/11 paying in full. Now after being told that they cannot complete the order on 8/25/11 (3 months later), they are REFUSING TO REFUND OUR CREDIT CARD!!!! Having to take it up with American Express Credit Card company. I have NEVER had anything like this ever happen with any company. Would strongly recommend against doing business with this company."
"Placed an order on August 15, 2011 for $1200 worth of tile and even spoke with the sales rep to check on availability. She ensured me that they would get it in two to three weeks and ship to me immediately after that. Sure enough just like all of the other reviews, two weeks later I get a notice that they cannot fill my order. They may very well be running a Ponzi scheme down there and shuffling everyone's money around. Stay Away!!!!!!"
"I ordered tile in July and just got an email from Fastfloors that they could not fill my order and was turning my account over to accounting to refund my money. I tried calling and was on hold for literally 4 1/2 hours. Went from caller 5 down to caller 2 and still never talked to anyone. My phone went dead from being out of the cradle for so long. I tried calling back and finally gave up. I have sent numerous emails and none of them have been answered or acknowledged. Terrible experience and would not recommend Fastfloors to anyone. While I was on hold, they play a recorded message letting you know what caller you are and gee-whiz information about the company. I learned that FastFloors.com perfected customer service and they will treat me like a king....all this while on hold for over 4 hours. If this is killer customer service, then I would hate to see bad customer service. Hmmmm, we will not answer your calls (nor return them in the time frame they state if you care to leave a message, which I did twice), or reply to your emails. Buyer beware! I thought I was getting a good deal on tile, but the challenge now is to get my money back. They wasted no time charging my credit card, now getting a refund seems like a daunting task.
Update: Got an email from FastFloors accounting saying my charge card was credited the amount they charged. That was on the 30th of August and as of today, my account has still not been credited. I have USAA checking and transactions are updated almost at real time, so trying to contact accounting again to find out status of refund. By the way, the 2 phone messages left with FastFloors and the numerous emails sent have still not been replied to. "
