Once you buy a product from them, you'll find out that the return is made really hard: you can only return four boxes at a minimum, and the boxes have to be shipped via their highly overpriced freight operator ($100 minimum even for a 30 lb package for which UPS charges $32). The company hides these facts from you when you order the product. Also, do not use their online product amount calculator - it overestimates the amount needed (I was left with 15% extra product). As always, we take your comments very seriously and will be looking into this in further detail.
Although, everything you state seems to follow standard policy. We use only the best freight carriers (guaranteeing less than 1% average annual damage) so $100 minimum isn't usually considered unreasonable... it is flooring; not a t-shirt.
Our flooring calculator uses a factor of 10% waste (as clearly indicated right on the tool itself). However, depending on the s/ft/box, rounding up could cause you to approach 15% waste, which is still within the average range of recommended waste.

I recently placed an order for laminate, underlayment, and T-expansions with FastFloors.com and received exceptional service. Ken helped me place my order and politely answered all my questions … and this being my first time laying laminate; I had a lot of questions. Misty kept me informed on the status of my order, which put my mind at ease especially considering I was placing this order with a .com business I’ve never used before. Misty also helped me add to my order after I placed my initial order with Ken. All the materials were received as ordered and in a timely manner. There was 1 of the 53 boxes that was damaged (most likely during shipping), but I have complete confidence that Sharon will help me resolve this issue. After examining the Floor Muffler, it looked too thin to my untrained eyes to minimize noise and provide adequate cushion. So I called fastfloors.com toll free number and spoke to Brian. Brian reassured me the Floor Muffler was sufficient and referred me to floormuffler.com, which offered further support for its superb functionality.

I placed a very small order for some Armstrong tile--I simply could not find it any where else, and I all I needed was a small amount for my mother's tiny bathroom.
There were issues with the shipping and Gerard Cuozzo could have not been more helpful in resolving the issues---you would have thought that my order was for thousands of dollars and not the small order that it was. I was totally impressed with customer service that went above and beyond.
Very pleasant, efficient and courteous service.

The order was wrong. They don't want to fix it. The order was VERY delayed. It was not worth the effort to save $300.00. NEVER AGAIN.

The price is fair and people are great (David and Sharon). However, 'fast floor' has not been fast at all (at least with the products by Florida Tile, which took 2 weeks in stock, and 1.5 month back ordered) to deliver. Also, to get the cash back is a pain. When you pay with the check, which you need to do in order to get 4 % off, it adds 1 week to the order process. I just filled out the form for the cash back, but will take 2 months to get the money back. Also, the shipping company made several mistakes and wouldn't call 1 hour prior to the delivery as they promise. They lost one of the items and would not take responsibility because they didn't call and I could not be home to verify the delivery.
Despite all the negatives, their price was better than local retailers, so I would use them again in the future.

I'll admit I was very hesitant and skeptical to order from Fastfloors.com. After doing extensive research, they had the lowest prices, but the mixed reviews from past customers made me very reluctant to order from them.
Because I wanted to save money, I decided to take a leap of faith and go with them. Instead of ordering online, I called their toll free number. A customer service representative, Denise, guided me through the entire process, answered all of my questions, and even explained the negative reviews.
My local hardware store was selling the laminate floor for $3.59 / sq. ft, while Fastfloors.com was selling it for $2.73 / sq. ft. Fastfloors.com did not charge me sales tax, and since my order was over $1200, shipping was free. I also had a $50 promo code at the time of my order. I ended up saving $1093!!
About two weeks after my order, I checked their website and received a tracking number and a phone number to contact the freight company. After calling the freight company, I set a date for the laminate floor to be delivered. Since I didn't want to wait at my home the entire day, I told the freight company to call my cel phone a half an hour before the driver would arrive.
All the boxes of the laminate floor arrived intact, shrink-wrapped, and on a wooden palette. None of the boxes were damaged, and no items were missing or incorrect. Since the delivery was only "curbside," the driver helped me unload them onto the driveway.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with my new floors and my transaction with Fastfloors.com. If you have any hesitation about ordering from them, I recommend calling their toll free number to have all your questions and concerns answered first. I'm glad I did! Ordered just over $4000 of cork flooring. The transaction has been great so far. Salesperson indicated flooring was in stock and was professional, clear, and complete. Flooring delivered in 5 calendar days. Packaging in excellent shape and all flooring installed thus far in good condition. Have not yet processed rebate so will edit review later to address.

WoW! FastFloors came back & made this right. Sharon was great to work with and got a credit for me for the defective material I received. Well done! Initially, I was very upset with the purchase & figured I was out of luck. Tile is something that is too expensive to ship back. I managed to supplement the acceptable tile with some available locally & my bathroom remodel is awesome. Thanks FastFloors!!!

Great service. Anthony did a great job of handling my order and helping when I needed him. The cork flooring I purchased was exactly as expected. Shipping was fast and all arrived without any damage. Installation was easy and when I got to the end I was one box short. Called Anthony (On a Sunday)expecting to get voice mail and he was there to help. Got the box the next weekend to finish off the floor. The only con was shipping, as they only ship the flooring freight, for a good reason as UPS and Fed-EX tear up the flooring, and the cost is high for a single box. So make sure you order the correct amount of flooring, take your measurements and add a box!

LIKE MOST OTHER PEOPLE I HAD A HARD TIME DROPPING SUCH A LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY ON A “.COM” COMPANY (I PUT LAMINATE FLOORS THROUGHOUT MY ENTIRE HOUSE, ABOUT 850 SQ. FT.) BUT AFTER READING REVIEWS, CHECKING PRICES, AND SPEAKING WITH THE FLOORING REP FROM FASTFLOORS.COM, I DECIDED TO PULL THE TRIGGER AND DO IT. I EVEN ASKED THE REP WHAT HE COULD TELL ME ABOUT THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON THE INTERNET, AND THE OTHER CONCERNS I HAD. I ORDERED THE FLOORING, UNDERLAYMENT, AND A PIECE OF TRIM THROUGH THEM, ALL WITH CONSULTATION FROM THE FLOORING REP. THE FLOORING ARRIVED FROM A THIRD PARTY TRUCKING COMPANY DAYS EARLIER THAN EXPECTED. THE PIECE OF MOLDING WAS POORLY PACKAGED AND BROKE WHEN IT ARRIVED, NO FAULT OF FASTFLOORS.COM. I DID EXACTLY AS THE WEBSITE DIRECTS: RECEIVED A CLAIM NUMBER FROM THE TRUCKING COMPANY, KEPT THE BROKEN PIECE AND FILED A CLAIM ONLINE WITH FASTFLOORS.COM IMMEDIATELY. WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF SUBMITTAL, A CLAIM REPRESENTATIVE WAS CALLING MY HOUSE. I HAD A REPLACEMENT PIECE WITHIN 2 DAYS, SHIPPED FED-EX. IN BOTH DELIVERY CASES, I WAS PROVIDED A SHIPPING AND CONFIRMATION NUMBER FOR THE TRANSPORTATION PARTIES SO THAT I COULD TRACK THE ORDER. THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS, THE FLOORING REP. WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. IT WAS NICE TO HAVE A DIRECT EXTENSION SO THAT I COULD SPEAK WITH THE SAME PERSON EACH TIME AND ALSO NOT HAVE TO WAIT THROUGH THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM TO TALK WITH SOMEONE. I INSTALLED THE FLOOR A WEEK AGO AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE END RESULT. DURING INSTALLATION, I NOTICED SOME PLANKS OF LAMINATE HAD CHIPS BROKEN OFF OF THE CORNERS (THE BOX MAY HAVE BEEN DROPPED OR HIT DURING SHIPPING, AGAIN NO FAULT OF FASTFLOORS.COM), BUT ALL OF THESE PIECES WENT INTO THE “TO BE CUT” PILE AND WE USED ALL THE PIECES IN AREAS WHERE CUTS WERE NECESSARY, WITH LITTLE WASTE DUE TO BREAKAGE. THE PRODUCT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I ORDERED: QUALITY, COLOR AND AMOUNT. AT LEAST WITH LAMINATE FLOORING, THE ONLY PRODUCT I’VE ORDERED FROM THE WEBSITE, I WOULD DEFINITELY USE FASTFLOORS.COM AGAIN.

Great place to shop, my order was handled promptly and I received what I ordered very fast, 7 days for a special order.
Just one thing, always get a sample of what you want first. Denise at FastFloors tried to tell me.
Still, it is the best on-line store I have shopped at and I went back to re-order the correct flooring, which I am very happy with, Thanks to Denise, Mike, Antony, and especially Gerard!

I purchased StepCo Natureloc Engineered Cork flooring. The product is quite nice. The floor looks great.
Presales experience is okay. The website features lots of type about discounts, rebates and specials. You can trust the quoted price. Be very careful about the rest. The "free shipping" only applies if you order more than 600 sq ft or so. The rebate requires paying very close attention to ALL of the details, with NO exceptions.
In my case, they backordered the flooring. It came a month late. They told me this was happening, so it was not a surprise. The shipment was flawless: the trucking company requested I call to schedule the delivery. They asked the right question: "can we get a semi to your house?". The answer was no. They made an appointment for the following day, gave me a 4 hour window. The guy knocks on my door on time and tells me he is at the garage. I open the door, and there is the driver, with the flooring on a pallet, and he has a pallet jack waiting to drop it wherever I want. No damage.
The floor was easy to install. There does not appear to be any matching trim pieces available for this series so we had to improvise. That took a lot of messing around, but the result is great.
I had a problem with the rebate. Management recognized that there was a problem and addressed it. I appreciated that: they pay attention, and we're willing to admit they had made it too hard to comply.
So, it's a great floor, and while I think you have to be careful in dealing with fastfloors.com, the overall value was quite high. I would order again. This review was modified by its author, brosen, on

From the first phone call to the delivery of the product, the personnel at FastFloors.com were very prompt and professional. They maintained continual communication about my order either by email or phone. The order arrived quickly and upon examination, there were no broken tiles to report. The price it was offered at was very competitive. I would recommend them to anyone.
