Once you buy a product from them, you'll find out that the return is made really hard: you can only return four boxes at a minimum, and the boxes have to be shipped via their highly overpriced freight operator ($100 minimum even for a 30 lb package for which UPS charges $32). The company hides these facts from you when you order the product. Also, do not use their online product amount calculator - it overestimates the amount needed (I was left with 15% extra product). As always, we take your comments very seriously and will be looking into this in further detail.
Although, everything you state seems to follow standard policy. We use only the best freight carriers (guaranteeing less than 1% average annual damage) so $100 minimum isn't usually considered unreasonable.
Our flooring calculator uses a factor of 10% waste (as indicated on the tool itself). However, depending on the s/ft/box, rounding up could cause you to approach 15% waste, which is still within the average range of recommended waste.

I recently placed an order for laminate, underlayment, and T-expansions with FastFloors.com and received exceptional service. Ken helped me place my order and politely answered all my questions
and this being my first time laying laminate; I had a lot of questions. Misty kept me informed on the status of my order, which put my mind at ease especially considering I was placing this order with a .com business Ive never used before. Misty also helped me add to my order after I placed my initial order with Ken. All the materials were received as ordered and in a timely manner. There was 1 of the 53 boxes that was damaged (most likely during shipping), but I have complete confidence that Sharon will help me resolve this issue. After examining the Floor Muffler, it looked too thin to my untrained eyes to minimize noise and provide adequate cushion. So I called fastfloors.com toll free number and spoke to Brian. Brian reassured me the Floor Muffler was sufficient and referred me to floormuffler.com, which offered further support for its superb functionality.

I will make this breif:
The order was wrong. They don't want to fix it. The order was VERY delayed. It was not worth the effort to save $300.00. NEVER AGAIN.

The price is fair and people are great (David and Sharon). However, 'fast floor' has not been fast at all (at least with the products by Florida Tile, which took 2 weeks in stock, and 1.5 month back ordered) to deliver. Also, to get the cash back is a pain. When you pay with the check, which you need to do in order to get 4 % off, it adds 1 week to the order process. I just filled out the form for the cash back, but will take 2 months to get the money back. Also, the shipping company made several mistakes and wouldn't call 1 hour prior to the delivery as they promise. They lost one of the items and would not take responsibility because they didn't call and I could not be home to verify the delivery.
Despite all the negatives, their price was better than local retailers, so I would use them again in the future.

WoW! FastFloors came back & made this right. Sharon was great to work with and got a credit for me for the defective material I received. Well done! Initially, I was very upset with the purchase & figured I was out of luck. Tile is something that is too expensive to ship back. I managed to supplement the acceptable tile with some available locally & my bathroom remodel is awesome. Thanks FastFloors!!!

My laminate just arrived today and after worrying for 2 weeks about going with FastFloors, I felt it was my duty to share my pleasant experience. Like everyone else, I read some not-so-pleasant reviews but couldn't pass up the price. Fortunately, after all is said and done - the floor arrived today and I'm happy to say I would definitely deal with FastFloors again. They exhibited excellent communication, and everything went just as they had said it would. Thanks!

Ordered 500 sq ft of Kahrs Linnea wood flooring and 2 reducer strips. Reducer strips arrived first, wrong color. Notified FastFloors.com and they immediately issued a refund for the incorrect product. Didn't even have to hassle with sending it back. Flooring arrived, correct color, perfect condition. Would absolutely do business with them again and recommend them to everyone.

I ordered wood flooring from Fast Floors. while the salesperson was very helpful, the customer service stopped there. When my flooring contractor started to lay the floor he noriced that each box was an assorted mix of boards that were cupped and the random lengths were more than random. There are normally 4 differant random sizes. With this shipment there were so many differant lenghts, that you could not even duplicate the same length with many of the sizes. We installed the flooring in one of the rooms and my contracter refused to install it in the other rooms cause the material was so cupped and he said it was like they packaged all their retrn or seconds and shipped them to me. I filed a claim with Fast Floors to replace the 8 boxes of bad wood that I ahve left. After 2 months they said the manufaxture denied the claim saying it is within their normal spec. How can obviously cupped boards be within the manufactures specs. Give me a break. I really doubt they even sent the board samples to the manufacture. Then to top it all off, I sent in my rebate form, invoice and delivery receipt. on Sept. 6th. It had to be postmarked by Sept. 30th. On Dec. 1 I had not recd. any word from Fast Floors regarding my rebate. So when I inquired they said they recd. the rebate form but not the delivery receipt or invoice. This is a complete lie. everything was mailed together. If it was separated, it was on their end. I then emailed then a copy of the forms they calimed to be missing and was told it was too late, that it had to be postmarked by Sept. 30th. Which it originally was. Bottom line is that at this point I have recd. nothing but the run around. Defective material that they do not stand behind and no rebate as promised. I ahve emailed repeatedly to speak with a supervisor and cannot get ahold of anyone. I believe this company to be a complete faud. BEWARE!

I was quite concerned about ordering from FastFloors after reading all the negative reviews online. Still, the price for tiles was one third of what I would pay at Daltile store, so I decided to order. I submitted an order online and right away followed up by phone call to make sure my order gets processed. Representative on the phone checked on my order and said that it will be processed after they confirm tile availability. After two days I got my order confirmation. After two weeks I received an email notification that my tiles were being delivered by Estes Express - trucking company - and I was supposed to contact them to arrange delivery details. I did so, and we scheduled the date, but they (trucking company) did not want to provide exact time so my wife ended up waiting all day at home. Truck driver called at 9:30PM and asked if we can reschedule for the next day. Next day around 6PM truck showed up - and delivered a crate full of completely broken tiles! Obviously, after waiting for four weeks I was frustrated and did not accept the delivery (there was nothing really to accept). When I called Fast Floors next day, they were very helpful and apologetic (even though it was not their fault). The claim department manager was professional and polite. To make the story short, I got replacement tiles in three weeks, still three boxes were broken, so I got those replaced in on two weeks. Overall, fastfloors.com delivered on what they promised and on time. The issues I had were with trucking company, since they damaged the tiles first time, and their drivers are very unreliable. Fastfloors.com staff was always polite and helpful. Bottom line is that I saved about 50% buying from fastfloors.com, but spent muck more time that if I was buying locally. I think it was absolutely worth it. Negative comments are from people that can't understand delivery instructions or contract when they accept conditions of purchase. Some advise to people who will decide to buy from Fastfloors.com: don't schedule any contractors until you have all flooring delivered and checked; check all products while driver is still present; make sure you are ordering right stuff before you submit your order. Again, you can save money ordering from Fastfloors, just be prepared to do some extra work yourself. If you want, you can contact me at dyniame1@yahoo.com with questions.

they delivered the wrong size and color of stair nosings, I didnt open box right away as I was waiting for contractor, and receipts stated correct contents. when I did have contractor show up, set up equiptment etc. we found out wrong product, it was too late according to theier policy to return/exchange. I had to pay my contractor, and eat the cost of the wood. this was not my fault. they do not back their product. the owner was very very rude to me when I tried to exchange! do not do business with this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wary at first but since my order was relatively small ($600) I decided to try them out. I live in California and their prices were cheaper than my local store. My salesperson (megan) took care of me from start to finish. She made sure I understood their terms and she even made me measure the tile to ensure I was ordering the right sku#. I also got a call from another department the day after to explain to me their terms and gave me the freight company information and tracking number. I called the freight company and schedule my delivery and received it in the agreed time. I also applied for their cash back rebates and I usually don't have faith on ever receiving a rebate but to my surprise I got a check from them today! I would buy from them again.

Oh Man, where do I start..... I needed some replacement laminate flooring to complete a kitchen remodel. Ordered 5 boxes of Mannington 36100M laminate flooring. Problems began when the order showed "Being Packaged" for several days. I inquired about the order through e-mail and was promptly given a tracking number. I tracked the shipment and it was to be delivered that same day. I had to scramble to contact the shipping company to make arrangements to receive the shipment, would have been nice to have a tracking number a day or two BEFORE the shipment was to be delivered!!
The pallet came shrink wrapped and strapped pretty well, but as other have complained about I received some right product mixed with some wrong product. 3 of the boxes were the correct flooring and two were incorrect. I filed a claim and was told the warehouse made a mistake and pulled the wrong product.... well no sh!t shirlock!!
As I stated above I ordered part# 36100M and two of the boxes were 36100C, the old version of what I wanted and not at all compatible with each other. An obvious attempt was made to pass off obsolete material in the hopes I wouldn't notice until it was too late.
Fast floors created a new order for two boxes of the correct flooring, and again after a few days of the order sitting at the "Being Packaged" stage I again inquired about the shipment. I got a reply saying the warehouse was now out of stock but should be receiving more in the next few days. Needless to say at this point the contractor doing my remodel was getting a little frustrated. The contractor finished what he could and started a new job while we waited for the rest of the flooring. A few days later I was informed that the warehouse had the items in stock and would ship them out, and a tracking number would be forwarded as soon as the items shipped. Again I did not receive a tracking number until I called and requested the number, and guess what?? You got it, it was to be delivered that very same day. Twice I was not given tracking information in a timely manner and had to pursue the information myself. Had I not pursued the information my self I would have probably been given the tracking information AFTER the items were to be delivered.
Finally after a little more than two weeks I have all five boxes, but man what a hassle. I have been waiting over 10 days now for an answer of what to do with the two wrong boxes, they are just sitting here and I have no use for them.
Right now I have my five boxes of flooring but no contractor to finish up because he moved on to another job during this fiasco with FastFloors. The contractor will be back in another week but what should have been a maximum of a two week remodel is going to turn out to be over a month long.
My advice is to stay away. Just buy your flooring locally and save the aggravation. This review was modified by its author, Lvcoyote, on

Buyer Beware: Fast Floors is a scam job. Their CEO posts positive reviews on the web instead of taking care of the customers. This is a web-savvy con-artist you are dealing with.
I ordered $1100 worth of flooring from them. They sent me broken boxes. Their shipping company's delivery guy was sympathetic and asked me to return the shipment. I told him that FF terms and conditions require that more than 70% of the product be damaged for me to refuse delivery. The delivery guy said "Well, I know I will not be shopping with them again."
In any case, I examined 10 boxes out of 21 and all of them had been damaged. I called their number listed in the terms, left two messages, then called their 800 sales number and was on hold for half an hour. All this time, delivery guy was waiting. Eventually I decided to take my chances with the credit card company and refuse delivery.
Well, guess what, these con artists told a bunch of lies to my credit card company and sent all sorts of semi-legal documents to them and my credit card company bought their story. I am out $480 for flooring I did not receive.
I am going to be posting a lot of negative reviews for this company. I will give them about $480 worth of bad publicity. I figure if 5-10 customer don't order from them after reading my reviews, they will know better than to piss of customers.
If you still buy from them make sure you use a good credit card. I used Citi Mastercard and I would be closing that account pretty soon.
As for delivery speed, they took just under three weeks to get that broken flooring to me. A week after placing the order, when I called for status they said they were waiting on my order acceptance which I had done 20 minutes after placing the order. Then they said someone was on leave thats why my order didn't move for a week.
Scam job. Stay away. You have been warned. My email is bee cee A tee dee cee @ hotmail dot com. Do write me an email if you are considering ordering from these scam artists.

I order from fastfloors.com because of their 110% price guarantee. The website does allow you to enter competeier's price but does not allow you to enter the competeier's shipp cost for doing the 110% price guarantee. I call couple time to check on the status of my order. But, no one call me back. Anyway, I got the floor that I order a week after I order. I was able to track the shiping online. The packaging of the floor was not very good. 2 box got damaged. I made the note on the receipt. The driver was very nice and want to push the whole pallet into my driveway. Buyer beware. The savings that you think you are getting aren't worth the trouble. Ordered on 6/11/06 and after a month I finally got them to ship some of the order. They promised to turn around the remaining items promptly, but after almost another month of them putting me off and not returning my calls, I got a partial refund and ordered from someone else. Was treated very badly after having to threaten to put a hold on my credit card, that they charged on the first day. Stormie was very rude.
