"My dealings with this store and it's staff are the worst I have experienced in my lifetime. The manager Carmen(store # 3188) is a lunatic. And the District Sales Manager, Sylvia Coria Guzman is very angry and rude.
If you buy a pair of shoes from them and they turn out to be defective, you are on your own. NO REFUND/NO EXCHANGE on the crap they sell you that falls apart after less than 2 months of use.

"Purchased a pair of boots online and took them to store on Jan. 1 to exchange for a smaller size. No problem, I was told. Plenty in stock. It will be 7 to 12 days. Three weeks later still no boots. Called store and they forgot to send! Ask them to ship the boots expeditied shipping. Could not do this - it would be another 7-12 days. Told them to send - NOT IN STOCK. Ask for refund on Jan. 15 - called today - refund not started - it was in wrong cue! Then had the nerve to offer me a 20% off coupon. DONE WITH THIS STORE AND NONSENSE."
"TERRIBLE customer service!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered a Christmas gift on 12/15, with guaranteed delivery on or before 12/24, and it never arrived. When I checked the order status online on 12/24, their website said it hadn't even shipped yet. When I tried to call customer service, I got an automated message disconnecting me after saying that they were closed for the holidays. Thanks for ruining our Christmas you idiots!!! I hope you go out of business. You'll never get another order from my family again!"
"I'm a rewards member and have been generally happy with Famous Footwear. You better hope you NEVER have an issue with these clowns however. I bought work shoes and insoles to go in them. The insoles separated and leaked after a week. I went to the store and they gave me the address to mail them to at my expense. So I called"Peggy" at F.F. and I got a ton of "I'm so sorrys" but you are hosed. I called the insole manufacturer to see if they would authorize an RMA. Nope. I pay postage. I called F.F. back and without screaming or yelling asked for a manager. After 15 min. in hold a guy comes on and says his "I do apologize" and "I'm so sorrys" but would not budge.It is unreal to me in this economy that a company would lose hundreds of dollars from us annually over something this trivial ($15.00). It is the principal of it of course and not the money and after stating they lost me I asked what his personal opinion of the return policy was and he said he could not comment. Spineless too. Why would anyone buy fro F.F. when you could buy direct from manufacturer. If you have to handle the warranty yourself what is the advantage......Spread the word. The most mind numbing sugar coated customer service I've experienced for a while. "

"My Grandson needed tennis shoes and wanted DC, he told me they were on sale at Famous Footwear, so we went there. I was very impressed by the helpful and friendly service we received there. That was 8 months ago and we returned again on my last visit with him, and of course, got another pair of DC's. There was a buy one get one half off, so I bought a pair of pink ribbon New Balance tenneys. They are so comfortable, and my daughter got a new job where she is standing on concrete 8 hours a day. A real killer for her. Long story short, I brought her the same pair and wolla ... the were GREAT for her too. She had tried many others, these helped her feet so much, she doesn't come home with her poor feet killing here. Thank You Famous Footwear, especially the friendly sales gals, we will all be back. "
"What a wonderful store to shop at! I found a pair of New Balance shoes but not in my size. The store helped by ordering the correct size and also in Narrow, which is really difficult to find. She shipped it to my house in 5 days and they fit perfect. I have a very difficult foot to size up. The shoes are great and priced affordable. Love this store. "

"I have ordered online a few times and frequented their stores. Ordered 1 pair of shoes regular price get 2nd pair (on sale) for half price. After 10 days finally shipped order (minus the half price pair). The shoes ordered for half price were canceled. They stated they were not in stock. That same day we sent an email to customer service to ask them if the shoe in question was in stock. The reply was yes! Also, the web site showed they were still selling the shoe also. I sent another email to them telling them I feel I had been scammed. They basically told me to re-order the half price shoe at regular price and call an 800 phone number. They basically would not correct their error which I feel was on purpose and send me the shoes I was entitled to. This has happened to me before. They basically advertise buy one pair and 2nd pair is half price. Then they don't send the half price second pair. This is an intentional scam. Also the pair they did send took 9 days to process and only took 1 day to ship because we are only one state away. Way too long processing. I will not buy from them again. I will stick with zappos. "
