"I ordered vacuum cleaner bags for my Miele on 12/28/10. After almost a month, my emails get returned as undeliverable, no one answers the phone, after sitting in the "queue" for 10-15 minutes. A voice tells me the mailbox is full and tells me "goodbye". I am working through my credit card company to try to get a refund. Horrible company to do business with. I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order"
"I am in the same boat as most of you. I ordered my Dyson 25 on Sept. 22, 2010. I've called many times and heard the same old story that it was on back order. Yet, I could go to my local home store and find it on the shelf. I finally, after being extremely patient, asked for a refund from some guy named Harry. Harry tried to sell me another vacuum as long as I would pay for it, then I would receive the refund for the other vac in 31 business days. Luckily I stuck with my gut reaction and told Harry just give me the refund. I'm still waiting for a refund that I now know will never happen from Factor Direct Superstore. Now I will have to dispute this purchase with Visa. To Harry and the other made up name associates -- I hope you get caught on your scam. "
"I ordered a Dyson vacuum on 10/31/10 and my credit card was charged the same day. On 12/1/10 I emailed the company asking where my vacuum was. Someone called me back the next day saying it was on backorder and to check back within two weeks. On 12/14/10 I emailed again. I got a call the next day saying the vacuum was still on backorder and I could either wait or get a refund. I chose the refund and the guy said it would take 30 days. I emailed the company twice more checking on the refund with no response. I called the company 1/14/11 and it tells me I'm in queue. When I get to first place it says the mailbox is full and hangs up. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and the charge has been credited to my account. Thank God. I will never order off the internet again unless its a reputable well known company. I came very close to getting ripped off. The stress, worry, and anger was not worth it."
"Factory Direct gave a good price on the Dyson I wanted, but after fighting with them for over 2 months they finally agreed to refund my money for the vaccum cleaner they never delivered! Now it's been over 6 weeks and they still have not credited my charge card--I finally filed a complaint/dispute with Visa. I would NEVER buy anything from this company--very unprofessional and rude to deal with! "
"Ordered a Dyson hand=held vaccuum on 12/2. Despite the fact that it was not in stock, they took the money from my debit card. Called a few times, finally got a "manager" who said I would be refunded; as of 1/13/2011 I have not received it. Called, get placed on hold with a message that I am second in the cue; then a recording says as reps are busy Goodbye. Don't purschase anything from them. Am calling attorney generals office."

"Do NOT order from Factory Direct. Not sure if they are closed or not. VM message stated Monday and Tuesday (1/3 and 1/4) that they were closed but the VM doesn't say that anymore. I ordered a Dyson in September, never rec'd it and am still trying to get my refund although now all you can do is leave VM's and I'm trying every option on their listing (even sales)!"
"I think we are all screwed now. I placed an order on October 23rd. And called/emailed to see if it had shipped 11/12. I received call on Monday saying that they could not fill order and it was refunded. But the refund would take up to 30 days. So I called and emailed... well today, on the BBB it says they are out of business. And the mailbox is full. Think what might have used to be a good company went sour. There goes my $$. I am disputing it with my credit card but unfortunately its been over 60 days now. Shoot. "
"We ordered a Dyson vacuum cleaner and it was never shipped to us. Factorydirectsuperstore customer service told us that they were backordered 2 weeks after we had alredy waited 1 month. We tried to be patient and waited another 2 weeks. When vacuum still not received we requested our money back and were told it would take 10 days for the refund to be issued. After 10 days they told us 10 more days. As of today we still have not received our vacuum or a refund. We are pretty sure we got scammed. They are still selling from this site, don't count on getting what you ordered or your money returned. "
"DO NOT PURCHASE FROM FACTORY DIRECT SUPERSTORE.COM. I wish I would have done my homework more thoroughly before placing an order with factorydirectsuperstore.com. After reading these reviews and from my own personal experience, I realize that this company/website is a scam. There are too many similar stories with the same questionable practices. My story is that On Oct 26, 2010 I placed an order for a Dyson D25 and after 5 weeks of waiting I contacted them via email for an update only to be told by Chris via email that he had just tried to call me to tell me that the order was still on backorder. There had been no call or message left from them. I spoke to Harry, the supervisor, when I called them and was told to call back the following week with an update. A week later I called and spoke to Chris first who told me again that he had just tried to call me ( not true) about the order and transferred me to Harry who told me that the vacuum was still on backorder and offered to cancel the order if I wanted to. I requested that the order be canceled immediately which he agreed and he would send the cancellation request to billing right away. He also said that it would take 30 days for the refund to show up on my credit card. I asked why my credit card was charged before the item was shipped and I was told that this is the way they do business and that it is stated on the time of the online purchase. I do not recall having read this message anywhere. Bottom line is that this company does not practice good business. I am reporting and disputing my charges with my credit card and will be reporting them to the better business bureau. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM FACTORY DIRECTORY SUPERSTORE.COM."
"I agree with Joey1099. I purchased a Dyson DC25 Animal with Harry on 10/5/10. I was told to wait 20 business days before I contacted them. Harry told me I would have it by the end of October 2010. Well I never got it. I started to contact Factory Direct on 10/27/10. I got an email saying to wait between 15-20 business days. David then called me and told me to wait another week. I called a week later and spoke with Chris on 11/10/10. He had not gotten an update on my order. He told me to call on Friday 11/12 and if they hadn't received an update then I should cancel. Chris assured me that they were not scammers and I would receive 100% refund. I called on 11/12/10 and spoke again with Harry. There still wasn't an update, so I canceled with Harry. He said I would see the credit 7-10 days on my credit card. Harry tried to sell me a Miele instead. He said Dyson had too many problems and the Miele was a much better vacuum. I sent him a email on 11/12 and told him just to refund my money. I sent me an email on 11/13 and said the order was canceled. I kept checking with my credit card company, but the credit was never issued. I sent Harry an email on 11/27/10 asking where my refund was. He called me on 11/30/10 in the evening and told me that my credit was to be issued the next billing cycle?????? I told him that he said credit would appear on my account 10 days, and he said that I must have misunderstood him. When I challenged him he said that he sent something over to the refund dept. to issue my credit. As I was hanging up the phone, I heard him say I would get my credit the next billing cycle. I emailed him the next day and told him what I thought of his company and contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges. I also sent them a copy of all the emails and conversations with Factory Direct. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY unless you want to pay for something upfront that you never receive and want to wait for your refund while they continue to use your money as their own. By the way, I did order my Dyson DC25 animal from Amazon.com on 11/12/10 and received it on 11/16/10 and my accessories on 11/17/10. I paid less than at Factory Direct and have been using my Dyson. I love it, the Dyson, not Factory Direct!!!!!!!!!"
"This is an update on my review I posted on 11/28/10. I had bought a vacuum at FACTORYDIRECTSUPERSTORE.COM on 10/16/10 and waited the 20 business days it stated in the emails and never recieved my vacuum so I emailed them asking them to track my order. They stated that the vacuum was on backorder and that I would receive a refund within 10 business days and of course that didn't happen. I called my bank on the 10 business days after I was promised a refund and they wanted me to get a confirmation number from factory direct for the refund they were processing. They also stated that they wanted me to try to work things out with them before they processed a charge back. I guess factory direct would get charged for the charge back from the bank and also after to many charge backs they can get fined.Which is great that is what should happen to a company that continually rips people off.Anyway I called Factory Direct back and was told that there was a delay with my refund and I would have to wait another 5 business days and that I would for sure recieve it the following Monday. I asked for confirmation number and they told me they could not give me one until the money was in my account. SURE!! So I waited the 5 business days and was not shocked when I again did not recieve my refund. I called my bank and after they recieved a written statement from me they initiated the charge back.I did purchase this vacuum on a debit card which does not matter you have the same rights as with a credit card. I have received my money back and have bought the same vacuum on Ebay for $30 less and I recieved it in 3 days. I also filed a complaint in with the BBB but they have them listed as out of business because all the mail gets returned.Good luck to all of you and I hope you receive the same outcome I did. Finally!!"
"This is the worst company I have ever delt with!!!I have been waiting for 2 months for this vacum. I have been told that it would be in the UPS HUB now for 4 weeks. Phone calls not returned as I was told would happen. I asked for my money returned and in 3 weeks that still has not happened. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! they are as close as you can get to being a fraud."
