"I will not order from FTD again. The holiday centerpiece I ordered for my father arrived broken and nearly dead, with all of the holiday decorations smashed. You'd be better off contacting a florist in the area and ordering directly from them, rather than going through FTD."

"I placed an order on May 3rd for Mothersday through Walmart.com. Here is how competent their business is.
I got a call on Wed. May 7th that they lost the information what should be written on the card.
I got an email Friday night before Mothersday at 9.01pm local time telling me that they require additional information like the phone number. While i was writing back i got another email at 9.04pm local time telling my order has been cancelled.

I can't say how disappointed i m and how unproffesional they handled it. Automated emails no real person and cancel an order the Friday before Mothersday. The money gone ( will be refunded yeah great so i have it back past Mothersday) and no way to find that short handed somebody how delivers flowers to my wife.

All in all one extremely bad experience and i WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN."

"Be careful on what you order online. They reserve the right to change the flowers to meet delivery times, which means, if you ordered lilies they might deliver roses instead. Seems like bait and switch, but it is stated in their fine print. This happens a lot with FTD. Too often in my opinion."

"Alright, I guess I should have read reviews as well. In all fairness, delivery was on time, and the flowers were in great condition. You will get what you order, but you won't get what you pay for. I ordered the "lasting romance" bouquet which cost $79. After seeing the bouquet, I realized that if I had gone to the flower shop that it came from, the same arrangement would have cost $18.50 (I went to the flower shop and checked it out for myself). Also, they advertise "free shipping" but charge a $19.95 "service fee" upon checkout. I beleive this fee only applied if I wanted them delivered on Valentine's Day. Anyways, long story short, never order from FTD, I won't ever again."

"Ordered flowers on tues for fri delivery to a business before Valentine's Day. Fri arrived, no flowers, no phone call, no email....On Sat I call FTD to be told they had a delay but they would be delivered on Sat....the business is closed on Sat. Well lets see, you can spend an additional $18.95 to have them rerouted to a residence....lets see this was FTD's mistake, not mine, why should I pay.
I cancelled the order and have requested a credit to my card, which I have yet to see.
On Monday my girl arrived at work to find a FTD box in the snow and cold. It had been thrown over a locked gate to sit all weekend in the elements. Inside was a nice assorment of DEAD flowers and a BROKEN vase. Thanks you FTD for a Valentine's Day to remember.....Do not use FTD unless these are your expectations!!!!"

"I ordered a bouquet of rose for my fiancée to surprise her and when she received them the flowers were discolored and looked dead almost. I called to let them know and all they said was sorry not we are going to fix it or a refund or anything. By far the worst costumer service ever at least when 1800 flowers messes up they fix the matter but FTD doesn't. Just know what you see isn't what you get. This is not worth the trouble stay FAR AWAY from FTD flowers and save yourself the money."

"Worst customer service ever! I was sending my grandparents an arrangement for Christmas. I received an email stating my order was delivered. I didn't think twice about it until I talked to my grandparents a few days later and haden't received it. I contacted FTD and they said they would resend the arrangement. Come to find out they did not and didn't even try to contact me to tell me otherwise. When I contacted them about my arrangement they were rude and continuously told me that it was delivered. If it was delivered it was delivered to the wrong house! They also told me that they could not deliver another one before Christmas! I am also still waiting for my money and it is January 3rd! I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the transaction! How awful trying to scramble around the day before Christmas eve to find a present for my grandparents that should have been there a week and a half before hand! I will never use this company again and I suggest you do not either! "

"Absolutely horrible experience. This was my first and last time dealing with FTD. I ordered flowers for Valentine's Day a week in advance and received an email confirming the delivery date. Well, I went in on Valentine's Day and the delivery had been delayed to Feb. 15th! That kind of defeats the purpose of ordering flowers for Valentine's Day. When I called, they asked me what I would like them to do and I asked them to refund their ridiculous $20 shipping charge since they did not arrive on time. I was offered only $5. I was not happy with this, so they told me they can call UPS to destroy the flowers and refund my money. Happy Valentine's Day indeed! While the UPS status does show the shipment was disposed of and will not be delivered, I have yet to receive a refund or even an email confirming I will receive a refund. On top of that, their hold times are well over an hour (I'm sure because many others are having the same experience). STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!"

"DO NOT ORDER FROM FTD!
I have never gone online and written a bad review...but this was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had.
I have used many online flower dealers before...FTD is the 1st I have ever had trouble with. Save yourself the trouble and don't place an order.
I ordered a bouquet for my sister-in-law on Oct 3rd that was supposed to arrive on Oct 5th. I thought that it was weird when she didn't thank me after a few days so I asked her if she received the flowers and she said she didn't. So I called FTD on Oct 9th and a rep told me that the "florist had never confirmed the order". I informed them that they had charged my credit card and sent me a confirmation. They assured me that a rep would contact me shortly after they got a hold of the florist. On Oct 13th (a full week after they were supposed to be delivered) no one had contacted me so I emailed their customer service dept. I received an auto-response that assured me (yet again) that someone would contact me within 24 hours. Well, it is now Oct 18th and I just got off the phone with them...and no, they didn't finally call me - I called them again! This is a full 2 weeks with no response. I talked to a rep who apologized and read their little script but was not friendly at all. She said that they still hadn't reached the florist...
Ok, what?? There apparently is only 1 florist in Seattle, WA and it takes over 2 weeks to get a hold of them? I see...
She told me that they could hold my order and deliver it now (yeah right) OR I could send it to someone else (what??) and they could give me a "free upgrade" for my trouble (again, yeah right). So I finally demanded that my credit card be refunded (now that they have held my $$ for over 2 weeks) and my sister-in-law is getting a VERY late gift (by another flower company). Like I said, worst customer service I have ever received. It is amazing that this company is still in business. I wish I would've read other reviews before ordering from FTD..."

"Ordered a necklace with earrings to be delivered on Valentine's Day. I never received a confirmation email, and the customer service rep I spoke to couldn't find any details and I had to repeat myself several times to him so he could even do the search, which meant that now I didn't know whether I had ordered them or not.

Few days later, I receive an email where I was notified that they were out of stock for the earrings and asked me to make another choice. Two days later (fair enough, I procrastinated a bit), I was notified my order was processed, before I had a chance to make another choice. The earrings were simply "removed".

Now I receive an email saying the necklace has been shipped and will arrive on 2/11, not Valentine's Day. While placing the order (and I just double-checked this) it clearly states that you wish the recipient to receive the order ON a certain date, but the delivery email says "on or before". Last time I use these guys."
