"I ordered a bouquet of rose for my fiancée to surprise her and when she received them the flowers were discolored and looked dead almost. I called to let them know and all they said was sorry not we are going to fix it or a refund or anything. By far the worst costumer service ever at least when 1800 flowers messes up they fix the matter but FTD doesn't. Just know what you see isn't what you get. This is not worth the trouble stay FAR AWAY from FTD flowers and save yourself the money."

"I will not order from FTD again. The holiday centerpiece I ordered for my father arrived broken and nearly dead, with all of the holiday decorations smashed. You'd be better off contacting a florist in the area and ordering directly from them, rather than going through FTD."

"Worst customer service ever! I was sending my grandparents an arrangement for Christmas. I received an email stating my order was delivered. I didn't think twice about it until I talked to my grandparents a few days later and haden't received it. I contacted FTD and they said they would resend the arrangement. Come to find out they did not and didn't even try to contact me to tell me otherwise. When I contacted them about my arrangement they were rude and continuously told me that it was delivered. If it was delivered it was delivered to the wrong house! They also told me that they could not deliver another one before Christmas! I am also still waiting for my money and it is January 3rd! I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the transaction! How awful trying to scramble around the day before Christmas eve to find a present for my grandparents that should have been there a week and a half before hand! I will never use this company again and I suggest you do not either! "

"I called customer service today to work something out with their 7 Day Satisfaction Guarantee. The CS Rep was rude to me! He asked me why I had waited so long to call. 4 days isn't that long to me!...especially when I have 7 days of guaranteed flower bliss. I explained to him that the flowers looked a bit pathetic when I took them out of the box, but I gave them my best TLC and they never got better. The roses and lilies are already dead and in the trash. The lone survivors are 4 poor tulips. I don't feel like I should have had to explain myself to this guy. In the end, the CS rep is sending me a new bouquet of my choice.

We have used FTD before and I'm sure that my husband will insist on using them again, but this is strike one in my book. One more bad experience and I am going to use another company."

"I can't believe all the bad reviews. Luckily I didn't read them first lol. I ordered mine yesterday morning and they arrived today bright and early at like 8:30 am. I got the spirit of season bouquet for my mom and I was actually shocked at what I ended up getting for the price. I paid for the cheapest one cause I'm cheap lol and I'm pretty sure they gave me the most expensive one because its HUGE(not upgraded because the flowers and such are exactly the same as the picture). My mom is soooo happy and I will definitely be ordering from there again. The one and only bad thing about FTD is that I live in Canada and certain things like the jewelry can't be shipped here, which is actually a good thing so I don't spend more money at this time of year lol."

"Very close family member overseas passed away. Because it was an international order, I was too nervous to send on day of (no one would be home) and instead opted for next day. After a day or so of the delivery date had passed, I realize I never got a confirmation of delivery and contacted FTD to make sure they were delivered. They were not. Had to wait another day to find out what happened - only to be told that the funeral was day before and the florist had to change the order to condolence flowers instead of funeral flowers (funeral flower was the ONLY option available for international beside happy arrangements like birthday or congrats). Yes, I knew the funeral was before - I purposely ordered them to be delivered (for an extra $28) on Saturday.
Furthermore, the florist didn't deliver and now my relative was going to have to PICK UP THE FLOWERS. After dealing with the funeral. Are you serious??? Dealing with a death in the family and then having to hassle with picking up flowers sent. Did I mention the recipient recently had a stroke?
FTD would not even CALL the florist to find out why the initial delivery did not occur or to arrange something else. Apparently THEY DON'T CALL FLORISTS FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS. Are you freaking kidding me. Note they don't tell you that when you order. I asked if the flowers could sit at the florists and die until someone could manage to pick them up and the response was "possibly". I am livid. $155 order and I still don't know if they have been received. "

"DO NOT ORDER FROM FTD!
I have never gone online and written a bad review...but this was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had.
I have used many online flower dealers before...FTD is the 1st I have ever had trouble with. Save yourself the trouble and don't place an order.
I ordered a bouquet for my sister-in-law on Oct 3rd that was supposed to arrive on Oct 5th. I thought that it was weird when she didn't thank me after a few days so I asked her if she received the flowers and she said she didn't. So I called FTD on Oct 9th and a rep told me that the "florist had never confirmed the order". I informed them that they had charged my credit card and sent me a confirmation. They assured me that a rep would contact me shortly after they got a hold of the florist. On Oct 13th (a full week after they were supposed to be delivered) no one had contacted me so I emailed their customer service dept. I received an auto-response that assured me (yet again) that someone would contact me within 24 hours. Well, it is now Oct 18th and I just got off the phone with them...and no, they didn't finally call me - I called them again! This is a full 2 weeks with no response. I talked to a rep who apologized and read their little script but was not friendly at all. She said that they still hadn't reached the florist...
Ok, what?? There apparently is only 1 florist in Seattle, WA and it takes over 2 weeks to get a hold of them? I see...
She told me that they could hold my order and deliver it now (yeah right) OR I could send it to someone else (what??) and they could give me a "free upgrade" for my trouble (again, yeah right). So I finally demanded that my credit card be refunded (now that they have held my $$ for over 2 weeks) and my sister-in-law is getting a VERY late gift (by another flower company). Like I said, worst customer service I have ever received. It is amazing that this company is still in business. I wish I would've read other reviews before ordering from FTD..."

"Don't order from this company. They are a rip-off. I clicked like to get the Facebook discount and they did not honor that. They conveniently can't find the order number of the transaction with the discount applied, but they charged me a second time for a second order that I did not place without the discount. I understand things go wrong sometimes, but they had no record of the order with the discount eventhough I sent a copy of the confirmation page with the order number on it that THEY GAVE ME to my email so I could spit that same number back to them, but nothing. Can't find it. No record. Nothing. I am going to place this review on every review site that I can find and tell everybody I know of who is thinking about ordering flowers online."

"Ordered $100 flowers on ftd

they got the order wrong

when I called they I said i wanted a refund, they said the florist then had the right to go back and reclaim their flowers.

Bad all around.

Give these Jokers a miss, I cant believe they are still in business."

"I wish I could give zero stars. Customer service is non-existent. During my order, the website crashed and said the order was not processed. I placed a second order. I received ONE email saying your order has been confirmed. Over the weekend, I received TWO emails saying delivery has been confirmed. Sure enough, two charges on my credit card.
After having spent all week explaining to multiple non-English speaking customer service reps that I did not make the mistake and I did not receive notification of multiple orders, I was given two options 1) a discount off next order (yeah right) 2) Nothing. They said there is nothing else they can do for me. How about a refund?
I asked to speak with managers and was told they were busy on other calls and would call me back (never happened). I wish I had read these reviews before placing my order. Lesson learned."
