When I could not get them to function after having checked and rechecked and tested everything possible, I called FCP and explained the situation. They handled it very professionally and agreed to take them back and offer a refund. They actually offered and stocked the OEM brand by VDO and gladly sold me those as replacements for triple the price of the PEX. I guess you get what you pay for. Anyway I believe FCP is working with PEX to sort out what is wrong with their rear wheel speed sensors for BMW.
