"Terrible! I ordered sunglasses (electric Knoxville) on May 30th (Thursday) and it said order pending on June 6th (next Thursday) so i gave them a call... They said oh your order will be shipped early next week, and that it was on its way from the manufacturer right now. June 10th (early the next week) I called just to make sure everything was on schedule, they said the glasses should be shipping any day now. I just called today June 12th (Wednesday) and they said the glasses were back ordered and the soonest they will be getting them is in august (Over 2 months from my order date), I canceled my order immediately . The part I am most upset about is that they lied to me repeatedly saying they were shipping any day now, and said they were shipped from the manufacturer which was a complete and total lie. They should have been upfront and told me I would have to wait over 2 months to receive my order, I don't know how they are able to stay in business treating their customers like this."
"Thank you for your commitment to excellence. Mary Employee #308 Was very professional in giving me the bad news that the Frames I ordered were not available. But because of her patience and great effort to make sure I was a satisfied customer, she waited a while until I found another frame which was also unavailable on my third try. And I guess that the term "the third time is a charm" applied directly to our situation for I dared tried something I was uneasy about but afterwards felt that I had made the right choice and even a better one than I had first made. Her patience and confidence gave me a great feeling that I had made a good choice thank god the frames where not available because I got to meet Mary#308 and she helped me make a choice I had wanted to make but had feared making. I am going to be one happy glass wearing guy and will get many compliments thanks in part to your great employee. Thank you Mary you made my day. I asked where I could let her superiors know how well she did. It was my idea. She sent me the info on just how to do that. Give her a good pay raise when the time comes! :) She deserves it."
"I wish I could give a complete review on my order but considering I have not received it yet it's a little hard to do. After I submitted my order and a few days went by I started to write some emails and phone calls. I Got in tough with a women named Linda through email but by that time I had spoke to someone on the phone who said it would only be a couple more days. Fast forward to the 4th of June I finally received a shipping email. A little late but I dealt with it. I checked to see where the order was and saw that it was in Brooklyn,NY. I wrote an email to the women Linda trying to get an explanation no response. Couple days later I received a package and it was half of my order. I order two pairs. I also saw that I have been charged for both glasses on my banking account. The receipt was in the box for both glasses but no explanation on where the other pair was. I called on the 7th and was told my order would be here no later then the 11th. No package on the 11th so I called costumer service. I was told it was the manufacturers fault, even though both glasses were ray bans I find this excuse hard to believe. The lady on the phone said she would put a "special rush" on my order. After all the phone calls and the women Linda never responding to my emails I am most definitely never shopping with ezcontacts.com again. I was offered nothing in return for all the time an aggravation. The second pair that I have not received is a gift for my wife on her birthday which has come and passed. "
"Don't trust them to ship quickly, even if you aren't ordering prescription lenses. I ordered some frames from them - no lenses because I wanted to get them done locally. I ordered 4/29 before 2pm EST (the cutoff time for same-day processing). Their shipping policy states "Processing takes approximately 1-3 business days (Allow additional 3-5 days for sunglasses/eyeglasses with Rx)" and additionally, "If your order will experience a delay due to a backorder, credit card verification problem, or availability problem. we will notify you via e-mail within 24 hours." Well, 3 days passed with no shipping or order status emails from them, so I called the night of the 3rd day to ask and was told they would ship the next day (5/3). They didn't ship the next day, and didn't ship until 5/6 - 1 week after I placed the order. I received the frames 4 days later on 5/10, fortunately just in time to have lenses made before an extended trip overseas. (I'm glad I didn't order lenses as well.)"

"I purchased a pair of frames from them; then I decided to purchase the lenses. I was dealing with Susan in customer care who I praise highly for being really pleasant and very much accommodating to my needs. She offered to have the lenses made at a discount since I purchased the frames from them. The shipments for both orders were surprisingly prompt. Unfortunately the glasses did not work out for me, I loved the frames but there seemed to be a problem with the lens material to which my eyes didn’t take. In the process of working through this issue, Susan and the licensed optometrist there were both very willing to help with suggestions. I was provided excellent customer service, especially by Susan, who in the end offered to waive a portion of the return fee. I might give the internet purchasing of glasses another try sometime in the future and if I do it will be from EZContacts.com because of this great experience.
PS: the lenses didn't work for me but I must say, this company is EXCELLENT for purchasing frames because of their lowest prices. If you can afford to purchase lenses elsewhere, I highly reccomend EZContacts for frames. "

With EZ contacts' chat mode, I was able to fix that problem in no time with the help of one of their representatives (Anita). Thanks EZ Contacts, I will write another review once I get my order. I think your website is great. It's easy to use and view. It's also easy to look over all the sunglasses. Just one thing, maybe you could provide 1 or 2 more views of the sunglasses. "It was an awful experience ordering a pair of prescription glasses from EZContacts. I was told that the glasses would arrive in about 2 weeks, but as 1 month rolled by, I decided to call the customer service to see what the hold up was. It turns out that my glasses have been lost in the lab and that there was no follow through to have the glasses reordered and redelivered. I had to call EZContacts everyday for a week to see that the problem was fixed. The worst thing was that I was charged for the purchase when I first placed the order so if I had forgotten to follow through with the purchase, they would have just taken my money. I don't even want the frames anymore. I would not recommend buying anything from this site."
"What a wonderful experience! I was looking for a specific pair of sunglasses and EZcontacts ran out of them just when I tried to order them. A couple weeks later I get an email from Sarah, a support representative, telling me that they got those sunglasses again! What a treat! She reordered the glasses and I should expect them in a week or two.

I had ordered from EZContacts.com before, when they had a Groupon, and that particular order was delayed because of the large response to their Groupon offer. This made me hesitant to submit an order, so I contacted them prior to submitting my order to see how long it would take to send out my order. Their customer service representative, Sarah, responded immediately (on a Sunday) and assured me that there would not be any delay in placing the order. So I placed my order on Sunday evening, and it was shipped out the next morning!
Sarah communicated with me throughout my order process, and even after my order was complete to inform me that it shipped out. I have never received such personalized service from any online company before, and Sarah made me a lifetime customer of EZContacts! Thanks a million!!! "
