"Purchased and returned a defected Asus A7N8X AMD nForce2-ST SocketA 3DDR ATA133 USB 2.0 8x AGP ATX Mother Board. W=Complied with their RMA requests and then some with a "Michael Lin."
We were to receive a re-credting in full to our credit card. This has not happened despite repeated emailing and messages left with this crew. They have not contacted us. No one responds to phone call except a voicemail system that passes us around to different departments with the same voice saying to leave a message.
"Ordered Gigabyte Motherboard. Determined to be defective. Have attempted over past 2 weeks to get RMA. Multiple phone calls (always to a voice mailbox)..none have been returned as of today (6.23.04).Multiple emails with no reply! REALLY a bad place to do business with. "I ordered a Western Digital Caviar SE ( WD2000JD ) 200GB 7200RPM 8MB Buffer Serial ATA Hard Drive. It failed soon after installing. over 1 and half weeks after requesting a RMA and no response (6-22-04).
Update: It has now been over two weeks without a response."

"Cancelled my order for no apparent reason, never contacted me, left me waiting for part that never came. Never responded to 3 seperate emails, phone calls resulted in endless hold times and I never did find out why my order was cancelled. Horrible Horrible Horrible. I've never had such a poor buying experience before. I would suggest avoiding this seller at all costs."
"Looks like Essential is out of business. You can't order anything now even if you wanted to. The "Checkout" button is disabled. I was ordering between $5000 and $10,000 worth of product from them for my company about every other month. They were great. Sorry to see them go..."

spent nearly 200$ on an order on 6/6, did not hear anything from them. at 6/12 i began to wonder, and mailed them asking for a status and saying i would like to cancel my order if its going to take too long. instead of even replying, they just went ahead and canceled the order. i only found out because i logged in again. due to direct negligence, they have subsequently ruined the timeline of a project that needed the hardware i was ordering.
ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK, PAY MORE AND ORDER FROM SOMEONE ELSE IF YOU CAN!"
"I have purchased from this seller before 3 times with great results, but this last time I ordered a Radeon 9600xt graphics card and a free mouse pad (for return customers). It was supposed to be 2-day shipping, but it took 7 days for my package to arrive. And I only recieved the mouse pad!! No graphics card. I've been calling customer service (nobody is picking up so I've been leaving messages) and leaving e-mails, but I have not been able to get in contact with anyone. I'm getting a bad feeling about this...
Update - Its 6-15 and I still haven't received any response. From the look of some of the other recent comments on here, it seems that I've been ripped off. I strongly recommend that you do not shop from this seller."

"Just like cr8zy1337 said below the EXACT same thing has happened to me, I placed an order on Saturday 06/05/04 and the item says "In Stock, Ships in 24-48 Hours". It is now Friday 06/10/04 and the status still shows "Unprocessed" I've tried to contact them via email at least 10 times and tried to reach them via phone at least 10 times, no response from either. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. As it seems something shady is going on over there. I contacted my credit card company and my card has been authorized but not charged as of yet. So I'm in limbo in regards to this, but at least I know that I will just stick to ordering from NewEgg.com
***UPDATE*** Luckily since I just checked the order status on 06/21/04, the order just said "Cancelled" so they didn't ship the item out to me, never gave me any notification as to why it was cancelled or anything. I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to buy from this place."
