"Order two 1G DDR DIMMS computer memory. One was bad immediately upon arrival. Tried for several days to call customer service and all I got was an answering machine. Sent an email to their tech support and did receive a email back with a return authorization form. Filled out form and sent bad memory back. It has been over 2 weeks since returning the first DIMM. Meanwhile, the other DIMM has failed as well. Purchased memory from Best Buy and the system has been working fine for over a week. I will probably contest the charge against my credit card if I don't hear from these bozos. "

"I'm very, very pleased with Emartbuy. I've placed two orders with them in the last 2 months and am very pleased with the quality of the products ... everything was brand new and worked as expected. Shipping was fast. I would definitely recommend buying from Emartbuy and personally will buy from them again. "

"I tried buying RAM from these folks twice using PayPal, but they mysteriously cancelled my order and refunded my money both times. I can't tell if this site is a Phishing site of some type or what. I guess I should be happy I got my money back but I really would have liked the good deal on RAM."

"Buyer beware. Ordered memory for my Dell Inspiron 531s. When I received it would not work. Returned it no problem but they charged a handling fee for the purchase. I see how this company makes it's money. They send out defective items and still make their profit on them at your expense. Definitely would not buy from again and would not recommend anyone do so. Burn me once...... "

"I don't have an invoice number because I never received a confirmation e-mail from this company when I made the order. Also when I received the product it did not work. Now I am not upset with them that the product did not work, but in how they have handled the return process so far. I have called several times and have not received any notification on what the issue with my memory that I ordered is. At this point, I am going to file a regulation e form with my bank to get my money back. I would highly recommend not to order from this company.

"Purchased a memory stick from EmartBuy, and received an out of package one that would not work with my camera. The item's description did not mention it would be out of package or OEM, I thought I was buying a retail item not something used. When I sent it back for a refund, they claimed it tested out fine, but when I purchased a replacement from another retailer I didn't have any problems. Still they refused a full refund, and charged me a restocking fee plus shipping costs. Beware this seller, their item descriptions are deceptive, their refund policy is insufficient, and their customer service is lacking."

"Store was easy to find from the Pricegrabber.com website. I chose the free USPS shipping and got an excellent price for the RAM I was looking to buy. I have not tested the RAM at this time, but the packaging looks good.

The only problem I had is that I received no email from the company at the time after I placed my order. I ordered on a Thursday and when I had not received anything by the following Monday, I emailed to inquire about my order status. They responded with my tracking number - but not before I arrived home and found the package waiting for me. It arrived in a very quick amount of time - I just would have appreciated an email to let me know what was up.

Overall, this was a good, if not great, experience (provided the RAM works)!"

"Great company to do business with, I ordered memory and I realize when I got the memory and got ready to put into the computer I had ordered the wrong memory. I emailed them and got a fast response and was told to ship it back.. I got the new memory and it works great..They were great.. A+++++++. Brenda"

"FASTMEMORYMAN & EMARTBUY:

These guys scammed me!

I purchased, I thought, 2x2GB Sandisk Ultra 2 cards from them on July 15th this year.

The receipt also clearly specifies this:

What was shipped to me was 2 generic noname 2GB SD-cards, that was in a used condition. These cards peaked out at 4.5MB/s writes, and were stable around 4MB/s. (Original Sandisk peaks at 17MB/s and are stable at around 12MB/s)
Price for these cards elsewhwere is approximately $7 each, so I clearly got ripped off.

Emartbuy refuses to accept that there is any difference between these cards and the original sandisk cards, and just tells me that these are a OEM-version of the Sandisk (which is clearly a lie).
When I pointed out the big difference in performance, they questioned me having a computer that could actually write that fast to an SD-card!

They clearly state in their communication that if you give them a poor review, they will refuse to work with you.

Paypal dispute lead nowhere, since SD-cards (any!) were sent to me. They do not protect the buyer, but apparently the seller....

It took me more than a month to get a partial refund. I had to pay all shipping in both directions and a restocking fee, even if they clearly sent me the wrong items!

Possibilty to write a review on them was withdrawn immediately when the refund process started. This probably to assure high scores on their rating system.

Buyer beware of Emartbuy / FastMemoryman!!"

"Ebay item #280188639469 my Item was Not only was this item shiped from the USA when it stated Birmingham UK an took two weeks when the listing said 24hr dispatch then it had to be returned to USA because it diden't even work it also recked my motherboard and graphics card and has so far has cost me £200 and I have nothing at all no refund no CPU no Motherboard the seller fastmemoryman claims the CPU was returned with Bent pins fastmemoryman tels lies. checkout this link " http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=fastmemoryman&Dirn=Received+by " for current victims,I estimate 5000 people have been ripped off by this seller. on E-Bay alone "

"My story sound like others, I bought 5 stick of RAM. It took 3 week to receive it. All 5 sticks were DOA. The memory failed a coupling test with Mentest86+ and behaved as if it had a coupling fault error. I contacted the seller and retuned the RAM. He claims nothing is wrong with the memory. It is now Dec. 28 and I have not received a refund. This guy is a scam. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM!"

"Stay away from these guys - actually guy. This guy communicates like he is a large company but it is very obvious its just one guy. Ordered item - realized I had made a huge mistake and requested cancel within 5 minutes of order. He replied with "The order has already been processed.". And on a Sunday too. So I asked for a tracking number or notification when the item was shipped. Several days and several emails later he says "We have intercepted the order before shipping.". Then he gave me a refund. These guys (guy) were unprofessional from the start and I do not recommend buying anything from them. I got lucky and kept my cool."

"These are scam artist. I ordered a stick of RAM.
When I tested with Memtest86, it failed. I've never seen PC memory this bad. I contacted the store, they told me it was tested and sent to me in working condition. When they got it back, they
wrote me again saying it was received in working condition. These are not honest people, stay far far away. I ordered off Amazon's featured merchants. Buyer beware! They send you junk, when you find out and send it back for refund, they show you their store policy and charge you for that junk, that's how they make money."

"Simply put, they're con artists. I gave away about $70 to them and never received anything. I insisted in writing to them both via regular e-mail, via eBay personal messages and via the eBay dispute resolution console, with no significant answer and no item.

After that point, I realized that I was just wasting my time. I resorted to Paypal to eBay, just to find out that all their insurances against fraud are completely worthless.

Do yourself a favor and check store ratings sites before buying.
