All components were complete, however, the shipping box was damaged and broken. Such a heavy item should be packaged in a heavier shipping box. I have set it up once to see if everything worked but required someone to hold one corner of the canopy at a corner pole while I pulled it fully open. This should get better the more times its set up. Since I'll be setting it up myself at outdoor markets for my art\/photography booth I will try setting it up using 40 lb concrete block to hold one corner down while I pull it apart. Once I had it pulled to its full 10 x 10 it was easy to finish setting it up by myself. I purchased 4 concrete blocks to hold it down in the winds we get here. The only complaint I have so far is that the side curtains are made of to light weight of material. For what I paid for the unit they should be heavier. They are like a very light weight shower curtain and blow in the wind. Overall, this is a very sturdy unit and the pull pins make extending the legs very easy. I haven't tested it yet at the market or in rain\/heavy wind but hopefully it will do just fine with the blocks to weight down the corners. I was able to take it down easily by myself. Its a very heavy unit but manageable for me, although I am going to plan its movement about very carefully to guard against back troubles. Someone suggested bungy cords to act sort of like shock absorbers to anchor the unit to the concrete blocks. As an aside, another artist\/photographer has a great plan to display light weight art and photographs inside my tent. She bought cheap wood screen doors 36" wide, covered one side with hardware cloth 1\/2" mesh with a staple gun, then covered the metal wire with felt w\/staple gun. She then used curtain pins to hang her art works on. She stands these units up on end around the inside her tent. I've built three only I used gray flannel I found on sale. This is going to make a fantastic booth I think. I also found some green indoor\/outdoor carpet to lay inside. Now all I have to do is make enough money to pay for it all. Shipping to Alaska is almost prohibitive but Elite Deals helped me out.
