"I am working with their manager Tony regarding this situation. He is doing what he can to fulfill my order in a timely manner as this is a new released product. I believe the matter will be resolved this week. I order a new model Sony XBR 60LX900 from East Coast on July 24th since they had a good price, but also indicated In-Stock, which was the main thing. I ordered with White Glove delivery and they said I'll have it in 1-5 days. "

"NOT SO FAST
I wish I could echo all of teh glowing reviews here, but my experience was not as flawless. On July 4th, I ordered a new TV, I reconfirmed the order on July 7th. They indicated by phone at that point that the product was in stock. The unit did not ship out until the 21st according to the trucking company, and did not arrive until August 1st. I live within their advertised standard delivery area, and multiple times I had to call only to be told it takes a week to 10 days. When I then pointed out that it was well beyond that time frame the customer service reps would stick me on indefinite hold or tell me I needed to call back at a different time.
The prices of course dropped during this 28 day delivery cycle, but are still good relative to my local market. I only wish they had been honest about the delivery times. "

"Ordered a 52" Sony Bravia LCD set from East Coast TV on 5/10/2012 for a very competitive price. Chose standard shipping. As has been my experience with other vendors, they called to try to talk me into a higher cost shipping option, claiming that with standard shipping the set would come from the West Coast and take two weeks to arrive, whereas with a higher option it would come from NJ and take only three days. However when I declined, the sales rep did not pressure me with further lies, as other vendors have tried in the past. The set arrived on 5/17, from NJ."

"I had a very bad experiance with this website. After two weeks of waiting for my TV I decided to call customer service. Thy quickly told me that their computer was down and to call back in 30 min.
2 days later I called back and told me to call back in 10 min. This company does not understand how to treat their customers.

"This is worst experience I ever had with online ordering. Not only they didn't deliver the order at the time they promised, but also when they finally delivered(after I made 3 - 4 calls) part of the order wasn't there. They eventually sent the remaining stuff by FedEx after I made 2 - 3 more calls. I will not order from this place again."

eastcoasttvs, East Coast TVs rep has responded

“Thank you for taking time to review our company so we can work on our flaws and make sure it won't happen again. We would like to inform the other shoppers that this customer was shipped on time, the trucking company did reschedule his delivery but they still delivered within the 10 business days as advertised. The part that was missing was the HDMI cables that were sent overnight via FedEx. If you have any other questions/issues you can contact our Customer Service department at (866) 496-5784 Sun 10AM - 10PM M-Th 9:30AM - 10PM Fri 9:30AM - 5PM.”

"I am a return customer and I couldn't be happier with the latest purchase. I purchased a 65” Panasonic V10 last July and outside of some minor shipping issues the purchase worked out just fine and saved me $100s. This time around, I purchased a Weber S670 grill at $100s less than I could find the unit locally. A little over a week later, the grill shows up without a hitch. Everything was in perfect condition. The delivery guys were happy to place the grill right in my garage so that I could perform the finished assembly of the grill. The only thing that could have been better about the entire experience was that AM Home Delivery (the delivery company) gave me practically zero advanced notice of the actual delivery. I came home from work one day to find that I had received a voice mail at 5:30pm stating that the grill delivery was scheduled for the next day between 6:30 and 9:30. There were some tense moments as I tried to contact AM Home Delivery before they closed for the day at 6pm to confirm the delivery date and time since the message did not specify if the delivery would be in the morning or evening of the next day. The automated phone system at AM Home Delivery is a mess to say the least. I was cut-off several times in the middle of recorded messages, disconnected several more times after being placed on hold, and routed to full voice mail message boxes and disconnected a few more times. After a ½ hour of trying, I was finally able to talk to someone at AM Home Delivery to confirm the delivery date and time which turned out to be between 6:30am and 9:30am the next morning. Luckily, I was able to make arrangements on short notice to be home the next morning to inspect and accept the delivery. All’s well that ends well, I guess. AND yes… the grill is fantastic but, it should be for the price. "

"Don't be fooled by their supposed 5 star ratings. I ordered a $1500 built-in Weber grill from them because their website said it shipped in 1-2 business days and I had masonry guys coming to install at the end of the following week. I even called them before I ordered to confirm that it was in stock because other reviewers had stated they had problems getting their order in a timely fashion. 8 days later my order still says processing. I called customer service and after being on hold for awhile a rather abrupt guy told me it had already shipped. I said if that was so could I have tracking information and he said he would email it to me. I still haven't received the information and my order still says processing. These guys are not what they advertise or tell you. They don't respond to emails either. Would not recommend them
APPEND TO REVIEW
Tony the manager called me and said he will call me right back to find exact date that it will arrive. He was very helpful. I will further append this review when I hear from him and get the grill. My order still says processing. He explained that they use a private shipping company and there are no tracking numbers. "

"I placed an order with East Coast TV's on June 30, 2010. The price that I found online was amazing. It was about $700 - $800 cheaper than I found in any retail store around, and I didn't have to pay sales tax or shipping. It was so much cheaper that I was worred that it was an online scam (IT IS NOT A SCAM. I GOT MY TV).

After 1 1/2 weeks, I had not received my delivery, and contacted East Coast TV's. They appeared to be as shocked as I was and stated that they had contacted the delivery company on July 2nd. I was given the number of the delivery company, and I was told that I would have received the TV the previous weekend, but his truck had broken down and that I would receive it on Wednesday. On Wednesday, he told me that I would receive it on Thursday. On Thursday, he told me that I would receive it at 6 am on Friday. On Friday at 7 am, he told me that he had overslept and would be there by 11 am. At 1 pm, he finally arrived. An hour after hooking up the tv, I realized that I had been given the wrong TV. After contacting East Coast, they assured me that the problem would be fixed the next day (Saturday). The delivery person did not return my calls on Saturday, and Sunday morning I recevied a call from a different delivery person who had my TV. I don't think that the problem was with East Coast TV's, but that they had a very slack delivery person. All things considered, they acted very professionally with me, and I would use them again."

"Customer service is terrible. They do not respond to e-mails and when you call, they put you on hold for an extended period of time. I placed my order for a Samsung tv and received a confirmation e-mail from the company with no mention in the e-mail about having to call them to confirm the order. After waiting about two weeks for the order and receiving no calls or communication from the company, I tried to contact them via e-mail initially and received no response. Then I tried to contact them via the phone. After finally speaking to someone, they informed me that I needed to call to confirm the order. I had no way of knowing that since no e-mail or communication from the company stated that protocol. I informed them of the fact that the e-mail confirmation did not state that I needed to call to confirm, but they didn't seem to care. Also, within 24 hours of confirming the purchase of the tv, the price of the tv set dropped by about $50 on the website and so I asked if they would, as a courtesy since it was the next day after the confirmation of the purchase and the item was not shipped yet, adjust my purchase price. They would not hear of it. The price was still better then anywhere else I searched. The tv was delivered within 5 days of the confirmation and it is definitely working well. My overall opinion is that East Coast TV's provides low prices, but with very poor customer service."

"I ordered on Oct.4,2010 A Sharp Aquos 60" LEd. The price was great but the service was awful. Like the others, I had to call to "reconfirm" which was just a thinly veiled attempt to upgrade the shipping and sell me some HDMI cables. I was told delivery would be 7-14 days. I never received any calls as the weeks slipped by so finally I called and was told they were out of stock. I started receiving calls from the delivery service on October 25th. Each day he would give me the same story, that the truck broke down and finally said he would deliver between 1 and 3 on Weds. Oct. 27 so I drove hom early to be there and needless to say, nobody showed up. I had their telephone number in my cellphone from their previous calls and was told they broke down (a recurring theme) and would be there Thursday Oct. 28 before 6PM. They called around 10PM and asked if they could still deliver to which I agreed and finally received the TV around 10:30PM. The TV is great but the experience soured me on any repeat business with East Coast."
