Read MoreWhere to begin? I was looking for a specific model Plasma TV from a reputable seller for a great price, no Tax and free delivery. Unfortunately I also live in NJ so I had to deal with the tax :(. But, East Coast TV’s (even in spite of the tax!) still had one of the lowest prices on the Web! But, I was a little concerned (at first) that I didn’t find this company using my usual web search engines (i.e. MySImon.com, PriceGrabber.com, dealtime.com, shopping.com, etc). But, eventually I did find a subdued link to their web site in “MySimon.com/Shopping.com”. So I knew they existed! But they really do need to work on that one! Actually, it was a Google search using the term “TH-58PZ800U Best Price” that really placed me at their front door. But, I didn’t stop there. I needed more proof of there legitimacy before I was going to fork over my hard earned money. So, I checked with the “BBB” and wow! They are an accredited business with an “A-” review! No real complaints (that they hadn’t resolved successfully). But, for me that still wasn’t enough…. I needed to know more. So (using Google..Again) I searched the net for a comment from anyone who had any dealings with the company (preferably this year)… and that led me here! So, I was finally comfortable in making a purchase… and the companies Customer Service rep helped me to make the right purchase choices! The perks: Free Shipping right to your door (but most big companies are already offering that)…. but they also included FREE “White Glove delivery” (delivered, unboxed and examined for any damage right in your home!). All of the other companies are charging a fee of 200 – 300 dollars for this type of service. Wow! And here’s the final perk… Pay only upon delivery! Similar to a COD but without the additional cost. Wow Again! That sold me (no pun intended!). More companies need to follow “East Coast TV’s” lead! As to the TV… It’s great! Brand new (manufactured in Feb 09) and delivered into my living room an hour earlier than promissed on April 20, 2009. I’m totally ecstatic! I will definitely consider “East Coast TVs” first when making my next Big Screen purchase (when ever that might be…). I give them 5 stars! Hope this review helped.

I'm amazed at the quality, price, and service including delivery of this company.
I made up my mind to purchase a 60in Sharp Aquos LCD TV. Searched many places for reviews on the internet, and also prices. I happened to stumble upon East Coast TV. and Appliances. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but upon talking to Jimmy I felt this was a company I could trust, and wanted to do business with. It helps that I am familiar with the area they in which they are located, and not too far of a drive if a unresolved problem arose. I was assured that none would, and proceeded to make my purchase. Price can't be beat free shipping, handling, no tax. I opted for the extended warranty in which I was also given a discount.
I was told the product would arrive middle of next week apprx. March 9 or 10. Jimmy called later that evening and informed me the product would arrive the next day. Sure did as promised delivery guy even set it up for me. As close to so-called White Glove Service other's promise, but this Company delivered.
I rate East Coast 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Best of all it's pay on delivery. If it's broke, or you don't want it don't Pay. Can't beat that.
10********** rating for East Coast TV.

I ordered a Samsung TV (UN40B7000) from this store yesterday 03/02/10. They had the best price by at least $50. At first, I was a bit skeptic, because things that are too good to be true usually turn out bad. I read some reviews online and decided to place the order. I received a confirmation email and two phone calls confirming my order and the delivery date. I'm in Brooklyn, NY. It took the store 1 day to deliver the tv! Thats right, 1 day, not 7-10 as with other stores and with free shipping. The delivery guys are nice and courteous. They opened the box, tested the tv and charged my card only after I was 100% satisfied. I highly recommend this store for anyone looking to purchase a television set.

I had an excellent experience. Within 1 hour of placing the order over the internet I was called by them in order to schedule delivery. It came the next day!! I didn't pay additional to get it faster either. The delivery man was very professional and when he was running late he called to tell me so. I definitely will buy from them again. I can only imagine the headache I would have had dealing witht he delivery people from BestBuy (who charged $370 including shipping). My delivery was free!!

Greetings!
I purchased a Samsung UN46B8500 TV from East Coast TV's. They had the best price listed on google shopping and it was a sick deal, roughly $600 less than other retailers. (As a side note, this is an AMAZING TV! - it's a shame it has been discontinued. I shopped for a TV for about 6 months, and once I found the 8500, I didn't want anything else.)
My purchase experience through East Coast TV's was Grade A. The TV was immediately available and delivered to my apartment (in Brooklyn) 2 days later. The delivery men kept me up to date on their delivery time (I find that very courteous and professional) and TV arrived in perfect shape.
The East Coast folks were helpful on the phone. All in all, it was a great experience: I love my TV, I got a great deal on it and there was no drama. I would definitely them recommend them to a friend.

East Coast provided next day delivery in exteremly inclement weather. The TV was priced very reasonably, well below Best Buy and others. Also the service was excellent. EB Brooklyn NY

I was looking for the lowest price possible on a Samsung #LN52B750. I looked all over the internet and I finally stumbled over Eastcoasttvs. I looked around and found the TV I wanted at the lowest price possible. I have looked everywhere...local stores and all over the internet. When I found them I thought it was too good to be true. I felt more secure when I was told that they would hook it up when they delivered it and I would be able to check it out and see that everything was good with it, not to mention I wouldn't have to pay for it until they did this. Well I ordered the TV on Friday Feb.12,2010 and it was delivered on Monday, Feb.15,2010. I couldn't believe how quickly it came, especially when even local places don't deliver this quick. I am very happy with the prompt service and the TV. I would and will recommend Eastcoasttvs.com to everyone I talk to.
Thank you again Eastcoasttvs.

2 thumbs up! I ordered a Sony Bravia 52" XBR9 LCD 240HZ. This tv comes in as well as the Led's out there. It has a back light adjustment on the tv which is great, and less expensive than the LED's. I recieved the TV in a very timely manner. The sales dept. was very helpful and imformative. I love my TV and the delivery service was very polite. This is a great TV, and cost far less than it would have locally. I had priced this TV at Sears, Best buy, and online. Sears wanted $900.00 more for this TV. I highly recommend East Coast TV to anyone looking to purchase a TV at a great price.
I ordered my TV on a Friday and recieved it the following Wednesday. That was fast considering it was placed on a Friday. Another great thing is that you are not charged for the purchase until it is delivered. I thought that was a selling point for me as well. This company is first class all the way!!!
Thanks East Coast TV for making my shopping experience pleasurable.

I was looking to purchase a 55 inch LCD samsung but it was really expensive wherever I looked. My boyfriend googled the tv and the eastcoasttvs.com website popped up and as usual I did my research and decided I'll take a risk at this just for the cheap price and I don't have to pay until I inspect my item anyways. I was a little worried but I ordered it and two day later I got the call confirming my order and the man told me their shipping people will contact me and I'll get my order in 7-10 days. I was very pleased that I got the call on a Sunday and I ordered the tv on a Friday! On Tuesday I received a call in the afternoon which was two days after they confirmed my order and it was the delivery guy. He told me they will drop off my tv the next day from 12-4. So today I received my brand new tv which was in perfect conditions and the guys were very kind to take out the TV and plug it in for me. The only bad issue I had was that the bad that contains the CD and the rest of accessories was tore and some thing were on the bottom of the box. It was an unneeded accessory so I didn't mind much. The customer service was great too but the eastcoasttv guys were a little too serious for me. The delivery guy were more than nice and kind. In all it was a wonderful investment and a money saving risk that I don't regret taking.

I placed order online Friday 1/15. Lowest price for Sammie LN46B750 on the Internet. (I tracked price for several weeks.) Site info said delivery in 7-10 business days. Delivery Co. called in 3 days, Weds. 1/20 and said they'd deliver between 9:00AM-1:00PM next day. Next day they called around 11:30AM to say they were running late but still arrived before 1:00PM. Two young fellas brought TV inside into the den, opened up the factory fresh shipping box so I could inspect. All was in pristine order. They recommended not to power it up until it reached room temp and suggested I keep the packaging for a few weeks just in case. I set it up later that evening and it's been working fine since. Any issues now will not be on EastCoast. I totally recommend this outfit to everyone within their free shipping area. They didn't even call me to try and upsell the warranty or to add any accessories. Everything went just as advertised. I just wish they sold more stuff so I could use them again and again. FYI the Sammie is awesome too.

Jimmy and Jamie from East Coast TV are great. There price was the lowest on the net of anywhere else I researched. I wound up buy the Panasonic 54" S1 plasma. I ordered on Jan 21 and it was in my living room on Jan 22. However, there was a slight glitch that Jimmy handled for me in a very professional and expeditious manner. The TV stopped working about an hour after it was set up. This was clearly a defect of the TV and is no way a reflection on East Coast TV's. Instead of making me call the manufacture and monkey around with everything, he called a local TV repair he knew personally. The guy he sent was over the very next day with the right part (which he waited for 3 hours to get from Panasonic). I was able to watch all the playoff games on my TV. As far as a I am concerned all the other negative reviews on the net are unfair or biased in some way. East Coast is professional in what they do and how they do it. They just happen to be a smaller shop trying to compete in the world of Best Buy and PC Richards and this scares some people. Personally I like smaller places better because you wouldn't get the personal level of service that I received at East Coast from a Best Buy. Trust me, I know from experience. I bought my first TV from Best Buy and it took a few weeks to resolve my issue when my TV broke. To boot, it was there in-house Insignia brand, and the guy couldn't get parts for it so I had to wait for a new one to be shipped to me!

Overall an excellent transaction with East Coast TVs. I had been researching LED TVs and tracking prices since October 2009, waiting for a bonus check to come in third week of Jan 10. All the while, the price on the TV I wanted, an LG 55LH90 55" LED LCD TV, was the lowest on the 'net at East Coast TVs, at $2099. Big Box (Best Buy) wanted $2399 for this model. Moreover ECTVs had free shipping (and no tax since out of state). I placed my order by phone the evening of Thursday 21 Jan (it's great that ECTVs is open until 10PM M-Th). In addition to the TV, I ordered a 3 year extension on the in home warranty with "free white glove delivery service" for $169.00 The customer service rep, Jimmy, was courteous, but when taking my order, misspelled the name of my town. I called back after promptly receiving my email invoice, explained the situation and the Service Rep cancelled the original invoice and made a new one, this time charging me $169.99 for the warranty. No problem though. Jimmy told me to expect a call to arrange receipt on Monday, with expected delivery of the TV Tuesday or Wednesday to my home in northern Virginia (near Quantico). True to their word, wife took the call on Monday 25 Jan around 7PM, for a Tuesday delivery between 4 PM and 8 PM. On Tuesday 26 Jan, delivery truck showed up at 5PM, 2 guys brought in TV, unpacked it, put it on the already prepared table, tried to plug it into a wall socket (I directed them to plug it into the surge protector instead), turned it on, and that was the white glove service. They ran my credit card through, I signed the receipt, and they left. All told a very smooth deal. I called again on 27 Jan to find out where the warranty paperwork was (was not delivered with the TV) and was told I would get it in the mail in 1-2 weeks. I am very pleased with the price (10/10), service (9.5/10), and support (10/10). I would definitely recommend ECTVs to my friends/family, and will keep them in mind for future purchases. Of note, they offered the HTIB I wanted at a significantly higher price than most other places on the web, so didn't buy that from ECTV. This review was modified by its author, Tomcattwo, on

After 2 months of of research and waiting, I finally decided to purchase a Mitsubishi WD-65837 from East Coast TV's on 01/13/10. The transaction couldn't have gone smoother. I dealt with a gentleman named Jimmy, who after answering all my questions and concerns offered me an excellent 3 year warranty that also covered the projector bulb. He even lowered the warranty price by $100. The TV arrived on time (01/20/10). The delivery guys carried the TV to my basement and helped set it up. They even carried my very old and heavy 52" Sony to my garage. It wasn't until all this took place that they charged my credit card.
I am usually very cautious about buying big ticket items online but my faith has been restored by ECTV. This company has a unique idea and I'm glad to see that they are definitely legitimate. I will be recommending them to friends and family. Thanks again Jimmy. I usually don't post reviews but after reading some very biased reviews on some other sites I felt that people who have actually done business with this company should speak up. I am happy with the speed, price and customer service. So far so good, I bought a 65 inch Panasonic Plasma from them. I normally don't write review unless it is bad.
