"Excaliber is ok. I liked everything about their shipping and selection, but their customer service is definitely sub-par. I didn't realize that their policy on memory, cpus and hard drives was not to accept any returns at all so i bought some nicely priced DDR2 from them. When I experienced some issues and wanted to return it, I was disappointed with their service dept's lack of interest in helping me out. I don't intend to deal with them in the future as their objective is to make an extra buck on every sale rather than serve their customers well. Newegg it is."

"The order was for two items that showed as in-stock. Items did not ultimately ship until July 11th, 7 days after placing the order. Repeated calls to ExcaliberPC revealed that they "forgot" to transfer the items to the shipping warehouse -- several times. Given that ground shipping and handling charges exceeded $28.00; I would have expected more expeditious handling on their end."

"Had a great experience with this company. Purchased a PSU, CPU, Heatsink, 3 case fans and thermal paste. Had all the components I was looking for in stock and almost all of the prices were very competitive with the listings of other sites except for the CPU. I had questions before hand about the products and their sales service got back to me promptly. Also, I thought that I didn't receive my thermal paste and they promptly returned my call telling me where it was. Overall a very satisfied experience. "

"I finally got in touch with a manager. He worked everything out with my RMA situation and was very attentive and gave me the proper credit for the defective unit.

I still feel that the RMA department should have taken more attention to the Notes in the RMA and issue the proper credit in the first place.

"Bought a Cooler Master Pretorian computer case from them. Had a small problem because my credit card was on hold for buying all my other computer parts! Not their fault. However when I called them, it seemed that they didn't speak english very well. I called them to tell them to process my credit card again. It took a day for them to approve the card. Everything worked out fine. Got my computer case in perfect condition although they did ship it in its own box. The case was flawless due to the manufacture's packing of the case. I would have bought this case elsewhere but the other online store was out of stock and I needed the case. excaliberPC.com had the case and for a decent price (a little bit more expensive than the place where I originally wanted to buy it) but I was willing to deal with that. Kinda slow shipping. The computer parts I purchased elsewhere on the same day came a couple of days before the case. So I had to wait for the case before I could build my computer. If I can't get the part somewhere else for a better price or if its out of stock somewhere else, then I would buy again."

"The ordering process was great. They let me know that the product was in stock and at what time the item would be shipped out. Would buy from them again. Their prices for shipping seemed to be pretty low, as well. Product arrived the next day and worked perfectly."

"I've looked everywhere for a gainward geforce 6800GT Golden Sample.. finally after tons of searching it said they had it in stock..so to be sure i called them up and within 30 seconds they had it in their hand, said it was the last one and i ordered it. the representative was really nice and helpful, she sent my order out to ship around 4pm PST when they dont ship anything else out after 3pm PST, so i thank them very much for that. I just recieved my tracking number (6 hours after ordering) so i'm very satisfied!

edit1: just to clear up, that's for Fedex shipping, ups i think they ship later than 3pm PST"

"i have ordered from this company many times and i'm impressed each time i order. i ordered a moblie 2500+ and i had the wrong billing address in, so i called them up and they already knew that it was a mistake and they knew the correct one without me even saying a word...they fixed it and the package still shipped the same day. i love ordering from this company, they have excellent customer service and shipping, competitive prices, and one of the few places that guarantees a stepping on a cpu. i definitely will continue ordering from them."

"Prompt shipping and well packed.

But have had nothing but problems with the XP M-2600 I ordered and the folks there. Customer service has stone-walled me.

If successful resolutions of any potential problems is important to you then you should shop elsewhere."
