"Ordered a couple items that was in stock. Paid in full. They then said one item was out of stock, and it is a re-release. So it would go into pre-order. Their mistake, but I was fine with that.The date kept delaying, so I waited. Then about 2-3 months later, they cancelled my entire order. It appears they sold one of my items that was in stock even though I paid for it in full.They said they will be refunding me. Waited a week. Didn't receive it. Emailed them and got no response. Sent another email and they said they contacted their billing department. Still got nothing a week later. Emailed them yet again, no response. I then had to do a chargeback.Terrible. Sure, just like most stores, if you get your items, you are happy. But their business practice and customer service is terribly lacking. Another order I made took forever to ship and my item was slightly damaged as well.So just like the other review, if you are trying to get your money back, they will pretty much ignore you or give you a run around."

Actual store selection is very good, though I do wish there was more variety for their anime figures. Granted they are a video-game based store so that may be asking too much."

"Horrible to deal with... My cashout order has been processing for 2 months. It's only for $25. This place is a scam. They kept telling me it will be processed in 3-5 days. I finally called and then was told that the "billing department" is having issues processing payments. They made it seem outsourced, but the real story is they must be going out of business."
"I've never bought from EStarland before and about a year or so ago I thought about it but decided against it due to ratings at the time and lack of getting costumer service to answer me.Fast forward to Feb 5 2013 and I decide to take a dive on a rather expensive statue that I couldn't find anywhere else at a lesser price.I ordered at around 3am on Feb 5 and my order was shipped via UPS that morning (during store hours). I do wish I had more options in shipping but this was probably a weight issue on my order. Since this was a $350+ statue I was still worried that something would be wrong with it, paranoia over bad luck you know.I got the statue (feb 8) and my god, the packaging was heavily bubble wrapped and secure. It was completely new, no marks, openings, nothing not even shelf wear. It was exactly what I ordered and well protected. UPS did a far worse job as they just left the nearly 2FT package on the door step as if no one would ever steal it. Luckily no one did but this has no bearing on how I feel about EStarland.The store is mainly for games so that is a different matter but they have a nice small selection of imports that makes me wish I would have dealt with them earlier. Overall I'm more than happy and wish stores who specialize in figures/statues/goods would have as quick of a turnaround and good packaging as this place. I'd certainly buy from them again."

"I've shopped at EStarland since way before it spread to the World Wide "Cloud". I'm fortunate enough to live nearby the shop, and their brand new location rocks! They finally have the room to expand and grow in to the (even more) successful business they're meant to be...Always friendly and personable service by folks who know the business and product. I wish I could give their customer service rating a sixth star."

"I sent in a rare ps2 game with a bunch of small scratches (nothing deep) in to estarland for disc resurfacing. It worked up to a certain part in the game so I figure I would have it resurfaced since I've never had a problem with a game after resurfacing discs. Keep in mind that I was the only owner of the game so the disc had never had been resurfaced and should not have a problem. I sent it in to estarland despite the higher prices they charge because I thought they would be professional with their services. After about a week and a half of the game arriving at their repair place/store, I heard nothing and gave them a call. After the call they finally resurfaced it quickly the next day. They later called and told me that the game no longer even loads up so I said ok fine and paid them a dollar to have them ship it back to me. When I received the game back, I was shocked at the damage they had done to the disc. There were cleaning formula inside and BETWEEN the disc layers. No wonder it wouldn't even load anymore! Its one thing to do a proper job of disc resurfacing and have it not work. I would be ok with that. But whatever methods they used just completely destroyed the disc with cleaning formula and now the game wouldn't even load. I have resurfaced a lot of discs before and have never seen something like this happen. If you're looking to resurface discs, I would definitely not recommend estarland. They charge more than usual, takes forever to get such a simple task done, and has questionably methods. I suspect a lot of games they sell are also resurfaced and who knows what may happen to the games in the future with their questionable repair services? Unfortunately I sent in a rare game and am now out around 50 dollars. I suggest you do not make the same mistake as me."
