"Customer service rep David from Dreamshades.com helped me select the most appropriate pair of lenses based on my prescription. He was very patient with me because I had a lot of questions.
My new Prada 02IV glasses are just right. The order arrived within 10 days, well packaged, and the best part is that I saved almost 80 dollars.

I will be getting the prescription sunglasses from www.Dreamshades.com next month.

"I ordered a pair of Versace sunglasses from Dreamshades in August... I was notified from them that the glasses were on back order and would be in towards the end of the month. Later, I was updated again saying that the glasses were still delayed and would be longer than originally expected and they asked if I was still wanting to wait. At this point summer was pretty much over and I had waited so long, I felt that it was still worth it. However, I asked if I could get a $10 discount for sticking with the process and being patient. I was told this was acceptable, and shortly after my sunglasses finally arrived at the very end of September. Although I had to email again to remind them of the added discount, I was refunded the $10 with no problem. All in all, I was VERY happy with the communication that Dreamshades had with me throughout the back order process. It did not go unnoticed. It can be rather frustrating using online sites and feel like there is nobody on the other end. Dreamshades has great customer service and I would definitely use them again, even with the very long delay from getting my sunglasses. Thanks again for the accomodations:)"

"I had a positive experience with the merchant. Bought Persol sunglasses - $100 cheaper than the local store. They did not have them in-stock but informed me in a timely fashion that it will delayed. And, they arrived in line with the expectations they set. The glasses were as expected with the original glass case, etc. Overall, great value for money - with a bit longer wait."

"I purchased a frame and then received an e-mail 3-4 business days later saying the product was not available. They do not pick up the phone # and do not return e-mails in a prompt manner (2-3 days later) I recommend everyone avoid this website as I doubt I will ever get my money back."

"Do NOT order from dreamshades if you are hoping to get your glasses within 3 weeks of ordering. Even with expedited shipping, they take weeks to ship the product. Worst of all, they offer no real way of contacting them. I understand they want to "keep costs low" by not having a phone line that connects to a human being, but it makes it impossible to resolve conflicts when there is no one to talk to. They offer an email support service but they do not answer that either. It's like sending an email to a bucket of dead batteries.

I would not recommend dreamshades. There are much better sites out there. "

"I had a good experience. It took about 3 weeks to get my glasses. But they stated after I ordered it could take up to 9 business days to get shipping info, which it did. Once the item shipped it only took a few more days to arrive. Gucci glasses came in gucci case and card of authenticity. Ive owned Gucci before and I am 100% certain they are authentic. They are not a big company and I've seen other reviews having some issues...but maybe I got lucky or other people just got unlucky due to stock reasons but I got a great pair of glasses for really good price and I even got my insurance to reimburse me for a lot of the cost even out of network..."

"Ordered a pair of sunglasses on July 9. On July 29 (20 days later!)was informed that the glasses would not be available until August 14. I cancelled the order. Price was cheapest on the internet, but what difference does that make if they don't have and/or can't get the glasses???"

"I placed an order for a pair of Ray Ban RB3448 014/51 on Sat 7/16. I was informed via email just yesterday, 7/25 (9 days from original order date) that "the size/color of the item...has been discontinued from production & is no longer available for sale". Well perhaps they should have taken that off their sites. No manufacturers will discontinue any products without informing their customers. For dreamshades to take 9 days to find out it has been discontinued doesn't sound too convincing to me. In addition, why is this product still showing up on dreamshades after they told me RayBan "discontinued" it?

Will not consider them again. I suggest you avoid doing business with this company."

"Dreamshades may have your product and they may have an attractive prices, but do NOT do business with them. They are a VERY BAD BUSINESS. If you want proof before you buy, try calling their customer service number, or any phone number they list, THEY DON'T WORK and they DON'T CALL YOU BACK.

First, it took them 1 month to ship my product (this part was expected as they were out of stock).
Second, they gave me a shipment date, and then never sent the product. When I contacted them, they said they were out of stock again and I had to wait another 2 weeks.
Third, they finally sent me my order, but it was the WRONG PRODUCT.
Fourth, THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR SHIPPING TO SEND IT BACK.

I called and e-mailed them over 20 times with NO RESPONSE. So i'm stuck sending the product back on my own money. This is PLAIN bad business and BLATANT disregard to their customers. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF DEALING WITH THEM."
