"I recently ordered a 4 pack of black and white feathers from Donna Bella. The feathers were incredible short and were not thin at all. They were really wide and fluffy. TERRIBLE PRODUCT! BUYER BEWARE, the feathers look nothing like they do in the website photos. I will never order from Donna Bella again and will advise all friends looking for hair feather to shop with another company. False Advertising."
"We've been ordering from Donna Bella for almost 2 years now and up until recently have have good experiences with the quality and the service they have provided. I have personally been doing hair extensions for over 3 years and have taken many different classes on the various techniques, I am certified by Great lengths, and Dream catchers. However this past order i received I noticed that there was some hair coming off the fusion bonds I thought it was not a big deal only a couple strands so I used them on my client who was switching from cylinder extensions to fusion for the first time. All was well after the install until I get a call 2 days later with her saying that her hair is falling out!!! At first I thought she was exaggerating its not uncommon to loose a couple strands when you have over 200 installed in your hair, but she claimed she lost over 20 all ready!! Long story short she comes in and sure enough its the bonds on the extensions that are failing and coming apart. I call up Donna Bella and their response was :You have to pay the shipping to send it back, we will look at it, and then if its our fault we will exchange it through regular mail. Well I have an angry client who paid good money, wanting the problem fixed right away so I didn't have time to send back hair and wait for a new shipment, I ended up taking out all her extensions and re-bonding each individual one before putting them back in. All of this was FREE to my client but cost me dearly in wasted time and money for the new bonds. I will never buy from them again after this experience, good thing she was able to come in on a Monday otherwise it would have screwed up my book for the week trying to fit her in elsewhere. What good are extensions if they use cheap glue that doesn't hold them together?? Don't waste your time or money on these. BTW a week after I bought the extensions and called and complained I was put on hold then told someone would call me back but never did, a week later they changed their return policy to NO REFUNDS!!! "
"OMG I purchased the Donna Bella grooved beads for I-Link extensions but instead used them to sew in weft extensions. I absolutely love, love, love this new technique. I used the weft extensions because the I-Link extensions do not come in yaki texture for more course type hair. These beads allow the hair to lay flat and move in any directions. This will be my go to shop for my new sew in thechnique. Hopefully in the near future Donna Bella sell I-Link yaki texture hair (: "
"I ordered 2 packs of the natural feathers and was extremely disappointed with my order. The picture showed different colors and textures but the feathers I received were all the same color and they just looked like strands of an ugly blond shade. I was expecting some creams and browns like what was shown in the pic. It was my first and last time ordering with this company. No wonder the natural packs were on sale. Hairstylists beware. Nobody in my salon will use this company because of my bad experience. "
