Apparently they are somehow different from the regular discounttire website and stores because they are the direct warehouse. As a result, the price on the tire I wanted was 40% lower than on the regular discount tire site. $102 VS $171! PLUS FREE SHIPPING VIA UPS AND NO TAX! The price difference will not be the same for all tires. Sometimes there is no price difference at all. In fact one tire was actually a few dollars more than it would have been in the local store. Just no tax.
I got an email update and tracking number. The tires were not in stock. I was told it would take 1 to 2 weeks. They received them 3 days later. Once the tires were in stock, it only to 2 DAYS to receive them at my door!"

"I ordered a set of 4 tires and 4 rims, includes free mounting and free balancing and free ups shipping if you buy both tires and rims. Everything came in excellent condition, and a few hours later I have installed them on my truck and I could not be happier! I highly recommend Discount Tire Direct !!"

"I had been looking for a particular set of custom wheels to make up a tire and wheel package. The prices were more then I could justify, and I pretty much had given up on the project. Googling around one evening, I happened upon the Discount Tire Direct web site. The prices were not to be believed. I did more research, and also talked to a few people who all gave them the thumbs up. So I called them to ask some questions. Immediately got someone on the phone, got my answers, and placed the order right then.
Bottom line here is that my tires and wheels were delivered sooner then promised - I got an email from them saying they had shipped and a tracking number. They were mounted & balanced and shipped with everything I needed such as lug nuts & hub rings. They were in perfect condition, and the price was a couple hundred bucks cheaper then anywhere else, even though I got better tires then I was originally planning on. All I needed to do was bolt them on.
Fantastic experience - thats all I can say! Thanks DTD!
Follow up: It's been a year since I bought the tire/wheel package. I had a seriously damaged tire, so I called DTD to inquire about my replacement warranty. I got right through to someone on the phone, who promptly looked up my account info, and said "We have plenty in stock, I'll ship you one out right away". And they did, too. Arrived via UPS a day later. Fantastic service - I could not be more pleased."

"i have purchased tires from discount tire direct twice in the past 3 months. both times brad, the salesperson, was very helpful and courteous. the tires that i wanted were in stock and the correct size. they were both delivered within two days, free shipping. good quality, good prices, good service and friendly. i have recommended discount tire direct to my sister, and she was satisfied and i just just recommended them to my daughter who is about to purchase a set for her civic. i will do business again. did i mention GREAT PRICES? well they are GREAT!"
