I once posted something on a web forum about DTD and a customer service rep emailed me concerning it. They have employees that participate in relevant forums and I\u0027ve seen many good things posted on the company.<br><br>After having a terrible experience with Wheels Next, I ordered a set of wheels and tires from DTD. The set was balanced and shipped out the next day. The wheels were made by Vision and due to poor design, two of the center caps broke when I installed them. I emailed DTD and they sent replacements at no extra charge. I didn\u0027t even need to send back the broken center caps. I placed the order on Monday night and received the tires on Wednesday! Before I placed the order, I called and the service person was very friendly and helpful in my decision between two different tires. He helped me make my decision and actually recommended a less expensive tire. I have purchased tires from their stores previously and have always been very satisfied with their service, but this was the first online transaction. I spent weeks trying to find a set of these tires in a large size (315 75R16) and it was proving to be very difficult to find them locally, or anywhere in the US or Canada that wasn\u2019t going to take at least 6 weeks to arrive. They were sold out everywhere and no one was able to give me an estimated ship date any closer than 6 weeks. There were a couple places that showed in stock on the website but the shipping was anywhere from 500-800 bucks (to BC, Canada) so I didn\u2019t even bother calling to verify stock.<br>Then I found Discount Tire Direct and when I typed in my postal code it said free shipping and naturally I thought this was an error. So I called and got Kyle on the phone, very helpful and knowledgeable guy. He said I have good news and bad news, that they didn\u2019t have any immediate stock but were expecting a shipment the following week. I asked about the free shipping thing and he said it was no mistake but that they do in fact ship free to the US and Canada! He assured me that the UPS man would not show up at my door with his hand out. I was skeptical seeing as I\u2019d been spending weeks trying to find any tires in the size I needed in an all-season with the snowflake rating. Turns out there are only 2 tires on the market in my size with that and they were both sold out everywhere.<br>After reviewing them online it seemed they were legit so I phoned back and ordered my tires, Kyle took my order over the phone to make sure that when they arrived I had dibs on my set when they arrived and when done he e-mailed me a screenshot of the invoice from his computer. They ended up being $300 cheaper than any quote I got locally. We arranged a ship date and they actually ended up coming a day early which worked out perfectly for me. They shipped out on Dec 1 and arrived Dec 8 (6 business days). As promised no money was exchanged at the door and I am extremely happy with my order and the level of customer service I received at Discount Tire Direct. I would rather buy from here because not only do I get a low price, but good service. I recently bought some tires for my mother, and one had the sidewall split. This could be a defect or even a road hazard issue as our area has many potholes. I talked to a customer service person and he helped me out and sent a new one and gave road hazard after the fact of an incident for ONLY AROUND $50. I\u0027m pleased and will buy from here from now on! They replied back the next day saying they were OK with it. GREAT!!<br>Service: Absolute best. I talked to Kyle Kennedy over the phone for the price match. He was a great and professional. I later updated my shipping address while the tires were on their way. Kyle kept me posted with the latest info. "I had a good experience similar to others. Placed an order for four tires and they were shipped promptly via UPS Ground to a local installer. Got my cash back promptly and looks like the $50 rebate is on the way. Great prices and service.
