"The site was well laid-out, Grand Opening specials prices were *really* good. The ordering process said it might take 3 days, and it took 2 days. The shipper's (Purolator) reference number provided by DirectCanada allowed me to track the delivery progress, and the ordered item arrived 3 days later (free Ground Shipping from Vancouver to Hamilton).

The product (Acer 1706b LCD monitor) was exactly as ordered and arrived in perfect condition. There were no dead pixels, and the monitor is everything I expected of it.

I'm very happy to give a full recommendation for Direct Canada."

"Over the past few years most of my online shopping has been at Direct Canada. Prices are usually the lowest and shipping is fast. This order I made a mistake and simply emailed them and the item was removed. Their communication has improved greatly over the years and answer questions quickly."

"I noticed quite a bit of advertising for this store's grand opening and decided to have a look. It turned out that this store is related to NCIX, which I had already done quite a bit of business with before. And just like NCIX, I had no problems purchasing from Direct Canada. Prices were also awesome and free shipping on the order made the deal for me, especially as I purchased a 40lb case. Awesome service!"

"Decent prices and quick free shipping on my order. Shipped order in two packages, one from Toronto (which arrived the next day) and one from Vancouver.
Excellent experience. If I have another large order of components to buy I will probably go to them. No PST on orders outside of BC so can make it cheaper than buying locally. "

"Easy to recommend. They answer support messages in 24h. I saved about 200$ over NCIX witch is already cheap! They shipped my order from vancouver to quebec in like 3-4days FREE of charge! Very good new competitor to canada estores. Cheers!"

"Great store. Could this store be the newegg of Canada?

Honestly, great prices on a product that was unavailable anywhere else (8800GTS) shipped out in minutes, was at my door (in Ontario) the next day via 9$ Air mail.

Great service if you ask me.

Their phone support, on the other han, leaves *a lot* to be desired..."

"I made three purchases from Direct Canada so far, and from now on, I will put this store on the top of my online store list.

Prons:
1. The lowest price for most of their products. When I want to buy something from online store, I always go to shopbot to compare prices, and I almost always found their prices are the lowest.
2. Very fast processing and shipping. I ordered >10 computer parts in this order, and they shipped out everything on the second day. Later I placed two other orders. Both were shipped in the same day and I received them on the second day (air shipping to Ontario). Items were very well packed and all arrived in good condition.
3. Very nice service. I like to use their online message system to communicate with their customer service and I have been very satisfied. Their response is much faster than I expected, usually within 2-4 hours after I send my messages. I sent like 10 messages in my purchase and they were always patient.
4. Refund works well. I requested a refund for two unopened items. It is very easy to create a RMA online and I just got the full refund after about 4 business days.
5. Free ground shipping for purchases over $300. A bit slow though, but considering that otherwise you have to pay ~$50 for shipping if you ordered a lot, this is still a great deal.
6. No pst outside BC!
Cons:
The only thing I don't like about this store is their website. They usually don't provide detailed introductions to their items. Sometimes there are even no pictures for them. For some items, you can only refer to the titles and item numbers in order to figure out what they are. I hope they realize the problem of their website and improve it. With that being done, they will surely gain more customers. However, one of the reason for the lack of item description, I think, is that they keep renewing their stock so they don't have time to add description to all items.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this store."

"Amazing service, have purchased from them a few times now, and have always been satisfied with their speedy delivery and customer contact. Stores like DirectCanada.com make the shopping experience a pleasure as opposed to a chore!"

"Wasn't too sure about the store because there's not many reviews, so I came back here to say I've had no problems with my 1st purchase.

Price wise, I couldn't find any better online in Canada. Is this finally our Newegg equivalent???

Verified the order with their automated phone system on Sunday, and Tuesday morning the Purolator guy was ringing on my doorbell ;)

Can't comment about the service because I didn't need any, but as things stand now, I will definaly buy there again.

P.S. They need to upgrade their website's look ;)"

"Awesome service and delivery was right on time. Will buy there again and would recommend to anyone! Customer service is friendly and down-to-Earth, unlike the cold and machine-like attitudes you would get at other stores."
