"great company, great service FANTASTIC communication...

i feel like i am pretty savvy when it comes to computers and i did a lot of research before i ordered my rig. even after putting together my order i called to ask a few questions and was pleasantly surprised to find my customer service / sales rep was very knowledgeable and was able to help with suggestions on a configuration that would save me money and help performance too.

i am greatly please with the speed of delivery, the constant email updates and the over all build quality of the delivered product.

i highly recommend digital storm for both amateur and enthusiast alike!

"I have purchased two systems from Digital Storm. In both cases I was completely impressed with the quality of these custom build machines. There is obvious pride in workmanship!

Equally impressive is their customer service. Service is prompt, courteous and thorough. Problems get resolved with expert advice and follow up.

But perhaps most impressive is the conduct of the sales folks. When I purchased my second system I needed advice on what components would meet my needs. There was absolutely no attempt to upsell me into things that I did not need. None! In fact, the sales person looked for ways to save me money!

Digital Storm is my computer builder!"

"I recently purchased the Digital Storm Vanquish. After almost a week of having it, I am very satisfied. Since I am not the most tech savvy person, I found myself having to call customer service, which is generally a nightmare for most companies. I was shocked when my call was immediately picked up by a friendly digital storm representative. The person helped me solve my problem immediately.
I suggest anyone in the market for a gaming pc to go through digital storm over any company out there. Trust me, you will not regret it. "

"Better service than what I would have, and have gotten at a local franchise store, with better prices too. My order shipped the same day, and I received it 6 days later. mind you I did not pay for rush delivery. Worked straight out of the box, no problem's, no complaint's. I would and have recommended Digital Storm to friends and family, And will be ordering from them again. The best experience I have ever had when purchasing a computer."

"Absolutely amazing is all I can say. I got the system in about two weeks, which is really fast when you are trying to buy a custom built computer. I have bought from Origin, Alienware, iBuypower and many other sites looking for quality service and a rocking system. All three of the other computer I have had, eventually completely burned out, but with Digital Storms, stability testing, I feel a lot more confident that this system will last. I also loved it because when they found an issue with the configuration, they contacted me by e-mail, in which I responded immediately expecting to wait a few hours or even a few days, but I recieved a reply from one the tech, that e-mailed me about the problem in 20 minutes max. They have great quality control, great customer service, an absolutely amazing warranty, which gives you the complete freedom to upgrade your system without voiding the warranty, and they have an amazing community on their forums, that is both kind and helpful. After my experience with them, I do not want to buy a system from any other company. Oh and by the way, I bought a DS (Digital Storm) Bolt, and it is extremely compact and extremely sexy! :D

P.S AMAZING PRICING. You are almost paying what you would, if you bought the same parts on newegg, or any other computer part company, best pricing from all the other custom built computer companies as well."

"Online Order Confirmation: HN6826504
Order ID: 27550

I recently purchased a Digital Storm Vanquish Level 4 System.

Sales Process:
I quickly reached a phone representative on the DS toll free # who answered a few questions and said they had ready stock of all Vanquish systems. I needed the machine in 24 hours for direct pick-up for a LAN party on the weekend. The rep assured me it would be ready. During the call he explained I would still need to pay $35 for a packaging (box) and promised 2 T-Shirts that I asked for (they only normally give you 2--but I made it a condition of the deal). I placed the order.

Immediately I started receiving a series of email updates about what stage my new gaming PC was in. This is kinda cool as it builds anticipating and helps you feel confident the order is being worked on.

I called about 2:00 PM PST the next day to check on the order. A sales person answered and at first seemed confused but put me on hold. She came back and said my machine was ready for pickup. That was quick!

Pickup:
This went well, sort of. I arrived at their headquarters to a mildly friendly receptionist who seemed almost disturbed that a customer would arrive to pick up their system. Tip for DS: Hire a more friendly public face of the company who is enthusiastic and excited about meeting customers vs. surfing the net. A tech brought out the PC on a roll cart.

No box! I said I paid $35 (or was forced to pay $35) for "packaging". He agreed I was right and returned with my new PC in a very large box.

I signed some paperwork and he helped me load the PC into my truck.

Unpacking:
Excellent packaging; No a lot in the way of setting up your PC, but I'm a seasoned PC owner so no problem.

Missing! I only got 1 T-Shirt so I felt like the sales rep was just promising things to make the sale. Sad, such a minor issue.

The PC:
Beautifully wired and constructed Vanquish Level 4 booted up and runs great! Super QUIET! Beautiful red lighting from the case.

Summary:
Beyond very minor sales process issues, the bottom line is Digital Storm delivered my machine in less than 24 hours, at a fair price. I own another Digital Storm machine from 2 years ago and it's still running great (i7-2600k, 8GB, AMD 6990 4GB GPU, 2 x 2TB, +120SSD, liquid cooling, extra fans, massive case). It had a cooling issue once that caused the motherboard to over-heat and fry itself and the CPU, but the repair process was quick and relatively smooth. I had to cover some costs and but others were still under manufacture (warrant had expired).

I highly recommend Digital Storm. In the end, they deliver well designed high-end gaming rigs that simply ROCK in terms of performance. Support, Sales interactions are solid. My bad comments are simply there to help DS improve to perfection, but in the end, you're buying Frames Per Second -- and DS delivers!

"The person I talked to on the phone answered all of my shipping and tech questions with knowledge and courtesy. I ordered it on a Wednesday, received it the following Tuesday. I just got the machine hooked up and running, and it is as-advertised. Runs smooth, and has been able to tackle everything I throw at it. "

"I was originally going to build my own system, but the thought of ordering possibly defective parts was discouraging. After searching the online stores for a system that had the specs (Intel i5 3570K and at least a GeForce GTX 660 TI) I wanted, I found the Vanquish model at Digital Storm. After asking a few questions about overclocking using their website chat feature, I decided to order the highest end model for $1,399. The system had some features (GTX 670, solid state boot drive, and liquid cooling) that I was not initially interested in, but proved to be worthwhile additions to the system. Shipping from CA to NY took about a week and the computer arrived undamaged in a huge box. The machine booted up first try and I was able to confirm that it was indeed overclocked to 4.2 GHz. Benchmarks showed this system outperforming other 3570K systems in several benchmarking tools, and the Passmark video test indicated that the graphics were (overall) running faster than a GTX 680. The only glitch occurred when Windows updates updated my motherboard BIOS, eliminating the overclocking and setting my RAM to 1333 MHz instead of 1600 MHZ. Fortunately, I was able to restore the overclock and RAM settings fairly easily. So far, I have been very pleased with the performance of the computer. The temps of the CPU and video card are low, even under load, and the computer is very quiet, even when playing graphically intensive games. Cable management is excellent. Since I have purchased the computer, I have upgraded the memory from 8GB to 16 GB, filling all the memory slots on the motherboard, raising the Windows 7 WEI memory score from a 7.7 to a 7.8. The processor scores a 7.7, and all the other scores were maxed out at 7.9. My only concern now is maintaining the liquid cooler for the CPU. Digital Storm sent along some advice, but it's new tech for me, so I'll have to do some research, or possibly just email Digital Storm for more information. Based on my experience, I would recommend The Vanquish and Digital Storm to others looking for an affordable high-end gaming computer."

"I was recommended Digital Storm when I began searching for a new computer, making my transition from working on a laptop to desktop.

My friend said he could either build me a computer or I could just order Digital Storm. The perks was having a good warranty and fast delivery.

After we ordered, I received a handful of emails telling me what stage my computer was in before shipping. I felt it was very professional, as I know nothing about computers. All I knew was I needed one to handle both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom simultaneously and this one is doing just the trick.

I was very pleased with how it was delivered, the certificate we got, and the binder full of instructions. "

"I've built plenty of extreme gaming machines, but only on air coolant. I decided to go with a pre-built so I could have a professional build me a PC with liquid cooling - I was tired of having jet engine 7970's running on full blast. I got an $8000 PC, and I've never had a PC perform this well straight off the bat. Boots windows instantly upon me seeing the "loading windows" screen. All of their parts are high-quality (rare for prebuilts.) and worthy of being a machine used by a gamer. If you have any doubts about them, forget them now. They are better than alienware (a good company, but not the best.), cyberpower, and yes, Northwest Falcon. Become one of the proud owners of a digital storm PC."

"The salesman who answered the phone was very efficient and answered all my concerns about the shipping process. I made the phone call to order my laptop on a Monday morning and received it at my home on Friday. Just checking the laptop I saw that the software was installed the day before I received it. (Unbelievable) Very Happy with my purchase."

"Are you looking for a powerful gaming PC customized to your specifications with a price tag that won't make you cry and customer service that goes above and beyond? Look no further, Digital Storm is here!

After years of building my own PCs I finally decided to let someone else do it for me. After some heavy research and a lot of reviews, Digital Storm came up as the number one contender for my order. Now I just had to figure out what version of what model was right for me, so I called up Digital Storm. Right away the level of customer service is top notch. The people on the other end of the phone actually cared! Several knowledgeable individuals helped me make my decision, and I ordered an ODE V2 LVL 1 PC.

Over the next week I received e-mail updates of every stage of my computer's creation. Within 8 days (6 business) my rig had shipped. Another week and it was at my front door.

Upon opening my package I was immediately impressed by the care with which my computer was packaged and shipped. The box full of owner's paraphernalia was a real treat to open up!

Then, the moment of truth: firing up the system!
The results: perfection. A whisper quiet rig that absolutely demolishes anything that I throw its way. Not a single hiccup so far. Everything that I had expected plus a whole lot more.

I can comfortably say that Digital Storm is -the- company to go to if you're looking to invest in a solidly built gaming system.

"I was so excited to get my Bolt Level 3 today. Had everything prepared and hooked my Eizo 24" monitor to it, turned it on and the Bolt started right up - Nice and Quiet.

Problem was no image on the monitor. I switched HDMI to DVI and again, my monitor was not getting a signal. Hooked the monitor to my laptop and it worked perfectly.

I called Digital Storm and have to say I was pleasantly surprised a technician called me within a half hour to assist. Despite his helping me check the components, we were not able to fix. I did watch a few of the excellent digitalstorm help videos for reseating RAM and Video Cards earier, but there is no room in that little Bolt box for me to get my fingers in and really do anything.

They are picking it up Friday and I'm looking at 2 weeks until I get it back. I know things happen, but 2 weeks is a long time to wait after spending over $2100. I have owned 2 Falcon Northwest computers and a Cyberpower PC POS in the past and was hoping for a different start.

On a positive note, they have been very professional thus far and this is the time where companies create life long or drive through customers. They were very helpful throughout the ordering process and kept me up to date via email the moment my computer changed phases in the build process.

I am reserving the rest of my review based on the time it takes to fix and return to me.

***UPDATE 6/4/13******

The computer was picked up on 5/24 and didn't arrive back to Digital Storm until 6/3. Very unhappy with that length of time.
For a $2000 computer, I expected faster delivery than that.
On a positive note, it appears they started looking at it quickly and have kept me informed of the status throughout the testing process. It is currently at stage 4 and estimated to ship from them in 2-3 business days. If this takes 2 weeks to come back to me, my 3 star rating will stay. "

"I'd never used a system builder before; I'd always either bought my computers off-the-shelf, or hand-built a PC out of parts. Loathe to do the latter - I remember really hating the experience, cut myself a million times in the process on sharp bits of case, and ended up with an ugly hunk of PC that made a lot of noise.

I'd seen a bit of the press that the Bolt had got; I saw Kotaku's review of the Titan version of the bolt, specifically. Gave a lot of thought as to whether I really wanted to go with a system builder over something easy, or straightforward, like an MSI or an Alienware.

In the end, two things convinced me - 1, that they had good reviews, and 2, that they had a machine that I felt wasn't really matched by the rest of the market. Good specs, well designed, and apparently a great performer.

I took the punt. And I'm *exceptionally* happy. No problems, whatsoever, to report. Nothing has gone wrong. Nothing has needed adjustment. I didn't have to fix anything, or change anything. I haven't had to worry.

This is what I've learned: Choose the right system builder, and you'll get an off-the-shelf experience with a completely custom build.

I don't know that I'm ready to try *other* system builders - but I'm more than happy to recommend Digital Storm again. I like the bolt, I had a great experience, it came well packaged and arrived on time, and I've had no problems.

Hard to do better than that, really."
