I began my career as a computer tech and have had many PCs so I appreciate quality. After shopping for high performance PC for two months I chose Digital Storm and I am very impressed with the whole experience.
From the moment I placed the order I have felt like a valued customer. The checkout procedures and testing went exactly as described in their emails. I checked the logs and they tested this rig for 72 hrs. The overclocking is beyond what I expected. It is very fast. When showing it to friends I open it up to display the perfect wiring job. I love this computer and highly recommend Digital Storm.

I am very pleased with my Digital Storm system. I sent them an email explaining what I wanted to use the system for and my budget. I got a reply the next business day from Sarah with system specs and placed my order the next day. After I had placed my order and they had started building I decided I needed and extra hard drive and was pleased that they were happy to add one for me.
After two weeks, during which I was kept updated of the status via email, FedEx dropped off a massive box. I had been concerned about damage during shipping but my system was sandwiched between plastic film, then a large cardboard box and more cardboard. Everything was very very secure and my system arrived safe and sound after its 1000+ mile journey. It took me longer to unpack then to set up and was up and running in about ten minutes after freeing it from the packaging.
I have had my system for a week now and its rock solid and perform better than I expected. I would not hesitate to buy another system from them again.

My recent purchase from Digital Storm was awesome. The buying process was very easy. The amount of options to choose from was the only difficult part, thats only due to a budget. The customer service is also great, everyone I spoke to was extremely helpful and friendly. I was very impressed with the quality of their work and the overall experience.

After having an awful experience trying to purchase a gaming machine from a major personal computer manufacturer and dealing with three missed delivery dates over 3 months, no communication from the company and playing the phone runaround / put on hold game for hours when I called, I finally gave up and contacted Digital Storm via E-mail.
My E-mail was answered in less than a day and not only did they make recommendations that saved me $600 for a better machine, all my questions were answered intellegently. I decided to place the order and I was kept informed of the status of my order every step of the way. My Pc was shipped in 10 days and I received it a few days later.
The packaging was excellent and after pulling my new PC out of the box and hooking it up, it worked like a charm.
I couldn't be more satisfied with my PC, the Sales staff and the Support staff at Digital Storm. This is the way all companies should be run. They deserve the excellent rating they've earned. If you are looking for a reliable, fast computer at great price, than Digital Storm is the only place to look. The ordering process is extreemly straight forward and they will work with you to make sure that you get an outstanding product. There was a conflict with one of the parts I had choosen and I got a personal phone call from the tech that was able to assist me in the correction. (Thanks, James) While the wait was a little longer than I expected, I just reminded myself that good things come to those who wait, and I couldn't be happier with my computer.
While they cater to the gaming computer fans out there, I actually needed a machine that was fast and had great graphics capabilities because I do a lot of movie and picture editing. This baby hums through projects that used to take me an hour to process, now they are done in 3-5min.
These guys build solid machines, and they do not cut corners. You could spend a $1000.00 or more and still not get as good a machine from another retailer, and trust me you will never get the level of customer service that Digital Storm provides.

I spent much time researching computers and computer parts and looking at the competition and was about to order when I came across Digital Storms web site after reading about them and watching the videos and seeing that they carry quality parts I tried building a system with more questions I went to thier fourm where I found a lot of satisfied customers that were more than happy to answer my questions and help me with a configuration that was what I wanted and in my price range after I placed my order I got constant e-mails on the status of my order up to the shipping the box was a little beatup the computor was in perfect condition thanks to the packing that DS has when I e-mailed any questions I got a reply right back the quality of the work is excellent it booted up the first time and I have had no problems at all I find it very nice that a company says what it dose and dose what it says I would order from Digital Storm again and will recommend them to all my friends

First, check the forums of all the custom builders. This will help you get a feel what what the CURRENT customers are going thru and if there would be a reasonable reason to avoid that vendor.
I did my homework for 2 months and got a forum id to ask questions. I also have 12 other P.C's and spent almost 30 years in the Computer field with a Computer Science Degree (BSCS).
The first thing you will find is the loyalty of the past customers. Then you will find out the satisfaction of the new customers. Lastly you will notice the involvement of the Digital Storm support people, especially Alex and Sarah.
Questions are usually answered within an hour, certainly with a day. They know their stuff and use only quality components.
More importantly, you can order a part that is not offered by them and have it shipped to them...true customization.
They will talk you out of a more expensive system or part if you really don't need it....they find out what you are going to use the system for.
I had my system shipped in a custom wooden crate to protect my investment (pictures are on the forum).
Without going thru the details of my system config, my i7 with the Corsair 800D case and Noctura cooler has run flawlessly since unpacked.
Perfection.
And for peace of mind, a 4 year warranty came with the system!
O.K., so you are thinking, there must be SOMETHING wrong with this company. The only thing I can find is that there must be one builder who is not quite up to par, because when someone does report a faulty system, they seem to have the same problem as someone else OR the problems will all come within a short period of time. I guess it also could be a shipping issue...which is why I ordered a wooden crate...why risk your dream machine to the UPS/FEDEX man who is in a hurry to get home?
For final proof of their success, they have just moved into a new bigger facility and are hiring more staff...all during the worst economic time ever...what other proof do you need?
It's your money, so now....Just Do It.

we've had our new digital storm computer for only 5 days now ,but iam amazed by the how well they hid the wiring , really a neat job. the computer works great so far, fast as the dickens, i also want to mention the customer service: it was great. whenever i had a question i got a callback within an hour,and another thing i liked is the packaging of the computer for shipping,it was delivered to my work while i was off, and the delivery person rolled it end over end to our office,which concerned me. but when i opened the box , i relaxed , it was so well packed and cushioned ,you could drop it off a cliff and not damage it.this is my third custom computer , my first with digital storm , and we'll be getting another one within a year,also from digital storm, the first one was for my wife ,the next will be for me.

My i7 960 3.2 arrived in flawless condition, and after some brief blundering trying to install my own video card, an amazing machine emerged. Due to Digital Storm's meticulous hardware review process, my machine was in top notch performance condition the second it arrived. With such a huge investment, it is good to know that I have professionals working on, what essentially is, 4 of my paychecks. The staff was VERY helpful every time I called tech support with little questions, and in the production process I was contacted multiple times by the staff to update me on my computers situation. These guys are BBB A+ for a reason, and it truly shows! They have great deals and solid promotional offers, a clear sign that DS's great customer service reflects on the amount of money they make, enabling them to comfortably reward the consumer with additional perks! Don't settle for any less! You might be able to pay less, but you certainly will never get more than with DS!

After much research on line I decided to order a Digital Storm computer... I had some money to spend so I went for a higher end configuration and I have not been disappointed... I had a glitch develop early on with the USB but they took the computer back, fixed and did some upgrades I asked for and It is now working like a charm... It is fast and allows me to not only do some fun gaming with ease, but also do HD Video editing with out even slowing down... I am very happy with the service and tech help, they respond immediately about any concerns... Thanks to all of you at Digital Storm for an awsom machine....

I purchased an i7 920 Overclocked, 2 x SLI NVIDIA GTX 275 896MB Video cards, 1 TB Hardrive, Razor Barracuda AC-1 Sound Card. With Windows 7. Extremely pleased with deliver, quality, and Customer Support. A few glitches with the setup instructions and ports to use but quickly solved by tech support. Only tech support problem I had was a problem involving Windows 7, iTunes. Never got a return call from the tech who had knowledge of the problem. Microsoft was zero help (iTunes problem in their view), iTunes was extremely helpful and solved the problem. Zero help from Digital Storm. Overall a fine machine. Very fast. A real plus is that you talk to an American when you call tech support, not someone in another country so communication problems are not an issue and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. The whole process of ordering, shipping, setup was easy and Digital Storm updated you at every stage of the process. I highly recommend Digital Storm and would order from them again the next time I need a new PC.

Unbelievable. The only words I can give to the computer and service I received.
I have been an Alienware purchaser since 2000, but with their recent issues and lack of configuration capabilities, I began searching for a new provider. My previous attempt two years ago from another manufacturer met with utter failure - The computer was loud, the connections were loose, the service was abysmal and the computer finally packed up two weeks ago.
Digital Storm had a massive selection of components for a very reasonable price. In terms of configuration, I was able to get exactly what I wanted in the way I wanted it. I received a phone call from the company to confirm my order less than 30 minutes after placing it, and they kept me on the phone while they confirmed my CC would not turn back the order.
After paying for expedited build, they got the computer out the door in TWO DAYS. This was quite honestly wonderful, when I was nursing along a melting computer at home. After receiving the machine, setup took... about 20 minutes.
This included getting my drives from the previous computer installed. Part of this is the components and case (Corsair Obsidian 800D), but the machine itself surprised me. No issues, no problems, just smooth start up.
The machine itself runs fairly silently, for a machine with 7 fans and a water block. It even runs fairly cool, both of which are key factors for me.
Another major plus for me is the inclusion of the actual OEM Windows 7 disk and partitioning of my windows install on a partition. This means I can easily reinstall windows without having to go find or buy another disk instead of using a recovery disk.
One complaint is that I intend to run a second video card, and I need to attach the power leads myself, as all the power leads not in use were placed in the box. Minor complaint for what is so far an unbelievable machine. Will update if any issues arise, but at this point, I would suggest this company to anyone looking for a good machine.
Update - Machine continues to run like a dream. Temperatures run at a cool 40 degrees C across the board. One of the Zalman quiet fans developed a hum/rattle after three days. Logged a ticket and received a phone call in under three hours. New fan being shipped for delivery this week.
The service I've received post delivery has been amazing as well and I don't blame them for the fan issue - I requested an expedited build and the fan took awhile to manifest issues. This review was modified by its author, Adrenfreak2, on

Computers can be a tough subject to tackle. My past computers from HP and other private businesses have caused me grief and annoyance. This would be due to my lack of skills with computers, bad customer service and being charged too much money to name a few. Digitalstorm was completely different. I was probably one of the most skeptical people purchasing from them in awhile. To be quite honest, I did not trust a company across the United States to get me a quality computer with no problems.
Well, they did it and with great ease and professionalism. The customer service was top notch and special thanks to James and Sara. For their future customers, I was so nervous deciding to purchase a computer. I'm horrible with words so I can't really describe my high degree of anxiety during the weeks prior to purchasing and after ordering. I can tell you that my increased blood pressure was for nothing.
I play games professionally and needed a great performance machine for a reasonable price and that is exactly what I got. The sale machines (blue) are a great deal.
Move over Alienware, Digitalstorm is the new leader in pre-built machines. There are many other companies I looked at. Digitalstorm is without a doubt the best for performance, quality and cost. They achieve this with awesome customer service and value their customers greatly. Thank you Digitalstorm.

I get a new desktop from Digital Storm and first let me start with that I used to be a PC type of guy but I kept getting sick and tired of PC companies that would make only half way decent computers and then have the worst tech support i have ever had to deal with so i changed over to a Mac and thought that i would not go back to a PC for a long time. Then i hear about this company Digital Storm and all i keep hearing is how amazing they are so i do some looking and read more about them and finally i am happy to say that i have a PC again and have found a company that is not only willing to put in the time and effort to give you the perfect computer for your needs but that if something does happen to go wrong with you computer they will take care of the problem without the hours on the phone or email after email just to get you problem solved. in short i believe that this is a company that i will be staying with for many years to come and will keep telling people about cause they are truly one amazing company.

I decided to try DigitalStorm after another company I tried custom built an under performing system and it took two weeks to respond to my calls.
Digital Storm provides an entirely different experience. By online chat, telephone, or online forums, I could discuss different config options. After I placed my order, the status was updated regularly. The order shipped on time, performs great, and the packaging itself is both rugged and green (no styrofoam here).
Differentiators of digital storm are:
* You can contact them if there is a part you are interested in that they don't carry, and they will quote you and get it in to add it to your specs
* Online forum of customers, employees, veterans is a great place to discuss a number of topics
* They will provide upgrades to your system in the future, as long as you ship it to them. Something that can extend the life of the system for a longer period to come
They are also comparably priced by other custom shops (and cheaper than the extreme end even though performance is likely close) with a higher degree of service. I will definitely recommend and shop from them again.

I was looking for a system to replace my aging one and started looking online. Initially, I was looking at various Alienware configurations. However, numerous issues we've had with Dell, and Dell's own website showing the number of people who were running into back orders and shiping delays, I started looking elsewhere. I found an ad on Tom's Hardware for Digitial Storm. Looked at their configurations online and determined I could put together a better machine than what Dell was offering. Placed the order Christmas day and had a phone call from DS the following working day. The video card that I had ordered (which was on clearance) was sold out. Spoke with the person on the phone and we went over several options. He helped me choose a different card and I was happy. I then started receiving the update emails detailing exactly where in the process my system was.
When it shipped, I was immediately provided with a tracking number. Two days later, I've got a a huge box being off-loaded from the big brown truck. Unpacked the unit, and was very impressed by the packaging job. Including the packing material inside the case to protect the internals during shipping. The binder provided with all the software disks and invoice/warranty info was great as well.
Set it up and hooked all my existing hardware to it, transfered my data files and installed the software that I wanted, and it's running like a champ. Very quiet compared to my old system.
It's been running for a couple of weeks now without a hiccup. And I expect that to continue. I have been EXTREMELLY satisfied with my experience with Digital Storm and would recommend them to anybody.
