"I purchased the Nikon D70 w/18-70mm lens kit, the Nikon 80-400mm VR zoom lens and some other accessories. Everything was in stock as shown on the website, and shipped & was delivered promptly. There was a defect with the image sensor in the camera that required Nikon's direct attention. The seller was very helpful in determining that and putting me in touch with Nikon. I've purchased from them before and will purchase from them again."
"Worst experience ever! They sent me the wrong calculator. After hours of trying to get someone to answer the phone or listen to me without transferring me, I was told that I would have to pay shipping to return it. I then found out that I would not be refunded the price that I paid to have it shipped to me. I called and talked to Janet, who was, BY FAR, the rudest Customer Service Manager with whom I've ever dealt. She said, "There's nothing I can do, I'm not in charge of returns." Then why am I talking to you, I thought. I was transferred to Alan in returns who was slightly more helpful once I broke into tears. He eventually agreed to refund the shipping after trying to convince me that I had been shipped the right item. He even went so far as to tell me that in the grand scheme of things, it isn't that big of a deal. Maybe not to him, but I am a poor college student! Furthermore, I have yet to be refunded on my MasterCard!!! I can't believe that I business would operate this way! They don't even have the decency to correct their own mistakes! Do not by from them!!!!"
"I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY PURCHASE. THIS WAS TO BE A GIFT AND I NEEDED IT BEFORE THE NEXT WEEKEND. WHEN I ORDERED, I PAID FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING JUST IN CASE. WHEN I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND BASICALLY TOLD ME THAT THEY DIDN'T CARE. I FELT LIKE THEY COULD HAVE AT LEAST SENT IT NEXT DAY AIR WITHOUT CHARGING ME THE EXTRA MONEY FOR SHIPPING BUT THEY JUST TOLD ME THEY COULD CANCEL IT FOR ME INSTEAD. TO ME THAT IS NOT GOOD BUSSINESS AT ALL. I HAD TO STAY WITH THEM THOUGH BECAUSE I LIVE A RURAL AREA. I WAS VERY ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED. "
"I ordered a camera on June 1st (was told it is in stock)the rep told me I should have the tracking # within 24 hours, 24hrs came and went still no tracking number. Called again on June 3rd and was told I would be emailed the tracking # that night. As of 6/4/2004 no tracking number. I called to cancel and they put me in my sales persons voice mail. I also emailed them to cancel the order. They also have my credit card tied up so I cant charge it from another store. Will never use this company again!!! "

"Awesome prices and service. Ordered Minolta 7D, minolta 28-75mm F2.8, and 5600HS(D). Emailed them acouple of times to asked some questions, always very quick responses. Person I dealt with was Jack at ext 843. They did inquire if I needed mem or filters but truly seemed to do so just to make sure I wasn't forgetting them. Jack did not try to press the sale of extras at all. Shipped out same day I ordered. Normally I use B&H but they wouldn't attempt to meet thier price. I will definitelly shop these guys before anywhere else now."

"My worries about ordering camera equipment from "NY dealers" on line were negated with my excellant purchasing experience with Digital Foto Club.My Canon 20D & Canon EF 24-70 f2.8 L came with all the right factory supplies as stated by the sales person,"No surprises on delivery day" which by the way was on time only 4 days later.They also give you tracking info so you can track your merchandise,Very reasuring.Thanks to everyone at Digital Foto Club and I will be ordering again for accesories. "This store came recommended to me by a few people at a photography website, and they seemed to get good rating here... I am still very dissatisfied. Here's why:
I placed my order January 10th, 2005. Their website said "allowed 3-5 days" for item to be shipped.
When I checked the online-status of my order on Friday (the 14th) it still showed as "processing". I tried to call customer service to check the status with them and they were already closed. I sent them an e-mail.
I heard nothing back from them that day or yesterday. I sent another e-mail last night, this time not directly but through their website contact form. Followed all directions. Still heard nothing back by today.
I picked up the phone and called them. This time when I pressed the extension for customer service it just rang and rang, at least 20 times, no answer. I hung up and tried again. Same thing. I hung up and tried again, but pressed the extension for sales. Got a human being. When I tried to check the status they immediately (before I could get a word in) transfered me to customer service. It just rang and rang, and I let it keep ringing for a good 3-4 minutes. I hung up and called back, got the salesman again and said "please don't transfer me..." and explained my situation (again, very politely). After being on a hold a few minutes I got a person in customer service, who told me the item was on backorder for at least the next 7-10 days.
I cancelled the order.
I honestly think there is no reason for me to find out 8 days (6 business day) later that an item is not in stock, nor should it be so difficult to get in touch with a company you are about to spend $400-$500 with.
For items in stock, maybe they are great and they ship their items quick. Unfortunately, I will never know."
"Purchased a Dig. Camera Dimage A200 along with spare batteries and memory card via phone. The customer service agent rushed through the order and inputed the wrong product code (540MB card at 70$ instead of 1Gig at 90$, even if we reviewed the order together) . Because Digitalphoto do not send order confirmation, I did not find our that the wrong card had been shipped until received.
I called and another agent reviewed the files and said that it must have been my mistake and nothing could be done, unless I sent the product back AT MY COST. Due to the hassle and cost involved, I decided not to pursue the issue further but have kept a sour taste of my transaction with Digitalphoto, despite the prompt delivery and good state of the material delivered.
I believe that order confirmation should be given, it is a small cost and would greatly improve satisfaction by preventing that type of mistake (I sincerly hope it was an honest mistake) "
