"I ordered a DENON DVD player by phone to make sure they have it in stock. They charged my credit card a week ago but still no shipment. The customer service guy was very rude and argued that they need 5 business days to check my credit card and prepare the shipment which completely contradicts the policies posted on their site. This is a cheap vendor but buying there can become a nightmare. "

"Ordered a Pio Elite receiver on 3/29. Was told it was in stock and would ship that day. Credit card was charged within minutes. Called back next day was told it would ship that day (3/30) and to call back tommorow for tracking number. Called back on 3/31 and was told it did not ship but would ship that day. Was told to call back after 5:30pm local for tracking number. Called back was told "not in stock after all but will have on 4/4". Was told its "store policy" to ship in 3-4 business days and to "chill out". According to their website this not true but it does state that my CC would not be charged until item ships. Their actions have already violated their written policy. All scam artist alarm bells have gone off with these guys. I found the item cheaper but decided to purchase from these guys because they promised they had it in stock and they had a good rating on this site. I called to check to be sure that it was in stock and was told with absolute certainty that it was by Eddie. I'll report back what happens on the 4th but I'm betting it will be a new story with a new delivery date. I intend to file a complaint with my credit card company, the BB, and the IL Attorney Generals office if it comes out as I expect. Too many scam artists as it is.
Update: 4/6/06 As expected on 4/4 it was not available. Asked for and received a refund. My advise is to not deal with this or Uncles Stereo or any of the other names used by this crew. They use retailers to purchase items from so that the retailers can get better terms from the manufacturers. Its a psuedo grey market operation used by a number of these vendors. While not tacitly illegal it does have warranty issues. Also if they charge your card before shipment that is illegal in many states (mail fraud) including mine. Buyer beware.

"On the 22nd of December, I placed an order for a Panasonic TH42PD50U from DigitalCraze. I was relatively nervous about making such an expensive purchase on the internet, but my fears were assuaged when digitalcraze answered all my calls/emails in a timely manner. It did take awhile for my TV to ship and arrive (it arrived today, the 4th of January), but I think some of this is due to the holiday season. I would not hesistate to make another purchase from DC. "Called about availability of item prior to ordering. They said that they would ship within one week. Three weeks later I called to cancel my order because they were giving me the run around and had not yet shipped item. Was told that the distributor was back ordered, which was not the case. Turns out they were not an authorized dealer for the item I purchased, and had since raised the price of the item I purchased. I assume they didn't fulfill my order because of this "price adjustment". I recommend you purchase from an authorized dealer - apparently this outfit acquires all of its goods via dealer "trans-shipping". This may actually void some manufacturers' warranties."

"I called Digital Craze to find out why my Denon receiver was not shipped on the day they promised and they yelled at me, so I hung up. Then very promptly a Mgr. at Digital Craze (D.C.) called me back and cussed me out and told me he did not want me to have the Denon receiver, that I do not deserve it and he wanted me to refuse shipment and he would refund my credit card in full when he received it back. When I repeat this story to anyone they can not believe the way Digital Craze screamed at me, swore at me and called me horrible names... I did as he wanted, I refused shipment, but then, Digital Craze did not give me a full refund as promised, my credit card, American Express did. I will never order or recommend this company to anyone. They do not tell the truth and they treat you very badly. I can not understand how they are still in business! DO NOT order from Digital Craze!!!"

"I ordered some speakers, paid for them and was never sent a confirmation number-the first step in any online purchase and the lack of one raised my suspicions. Over the next 4 business days with a weekend in between I research some of the company's reviews online. The range was from great to terrible service with an assortment of stories in between which was enough for me to call for a refund. After speaking with Eddie, who had agreed to return my money which was likely to be sometime after the Thanksgiving Day Holiday weekend, later the same day I finally had a chance to return one of Lenny's numerous calls only to be badgered by him about why I changed my mind. Even though he too gave me the option of having the speakers shipped anyway, I made it clear what I wanted. Then his whole attitude changed from that of a slick businessman to that of someone quite deranged. All I want is my money. He then told me how there was going to be a restocking/handling fee of 10% with an additional 3% the bank charges. I questioned why the sudden adhernce to company policy now with phone calls and all when before there was not a word acknowledging my attempted purchase. Our conversation turned into an argument resulting in him calling me an "ignorant motherf...." I asked him what did he call me and he repeated it again. Before hanging up, I asked him "Is this the way you do business, calling me names?" At this moment I still have no receipt, no confirmation number, and no speakers; only the bitterness of a good deal gone crazy. "

"Ordered from DigitalCraze on Nov. 2 then called back 20 minutes later to cancel the order. The customer service rep said that is fine and my credit card wouldn't be charged. 4 days later the package shows up at my door and I refuse the package. I call digitalcraze and they say it was a mistake and they would credit my account. It's been a month now and they still haven't credited my account. I call on a weekly basis and get the exact same thing. "Sir we will credit your account on Friday, no problem!" Friday comes around and no credit.

I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company right now.

Stay away from Digital craze, their customer service reps are rude and they like to take money but not give it back.

Kyle"

"DO NOT BUY AT DIGITAL CRAZE, YOU MAY LOSE YOUR MONEY !!!
On July 27, 2010, I ordered, over the Internet, to Digital Craze, an amplifier and a CD player, brand NAD. A certain Eddie (Ed Brodsky) gave me the account number of this store to pay by wire transfer. On July 28, 2010, I made a bank transfer of US$ 1.400 on its behalf:
TD BANK
NAME ON ACCT - E&S CONSULTING EMPORIUM INC (d.b.a. Digital Craze)
ACCT # - 7921103938
ABA # - 026013673
SWIFT CODE - (FOREIGN CURRENCY # TDOMCATTTOR) / (U.S. FUNDS # NRTHUS33)

The website of Digital Craze has no tracking service. I insisted to have the delivery date. He promised delivery within 7 to 10 days. As the products have not been delivered on the indicated date, I sent several emails which went unanswered. On August 16, he sent me an email saying that he has a problem of back order. I insisted to know the new expected delivery date. No answer.
On August 21, I ask a refund. No answer. After much insistence, he returned an email to say he cannot give me a refund by wire transfer. He asked me to give a name and an address to mail a refund check. I gave him the requested information. No check has been shipped to date.
By examining some websites, I learned that Mr. Eddie Brodsky used the same practices with many clients. After 50 days (over a month and a half), I have received no refund from Digital Craze which still keep illegally my money. While I will use legal actions to recover it, I advise you to be careful. Avoid falling into the same trap: DON’T BUY AT DIGITAL CRAZE!!!

"I ordered a Panasonic TH50PX500U 50" Plasma HDTV and a Philips Pronto TSU7000 Universal remote on Nov 11, 2005. This TV is somewhat difficult to find. DigitalCraze stated that it would take several weeks to get their next shipment in and one to me. Because the TV is hard to come by they required thatmy credit card be charged to show that I was serious about the order. The price right for both products. I was concerned about ordering such a major purchase online and having my credit card charged before the item was actually available. But both products ARRIVED EXACTLY WHEN PROMISED, AND IN PERFECT SHAPE. I would definitely order from them again."
