I emailed them to make sure they would deliver my order on time, not switch the item with something else and not charge my card if they have no stock, they deleted my email without reading it. The time on the deletion notification from their server was 12/21/05 14:21:41. The replying individual was Ronald Rella, ron@digital1234.com, at least that's what he sends the email as.
Obviously, this poor excuse for a retailer is out to cheat people and make no excuses about it. I suspect it to be only a matter of time until they are shut down by the proper authorities. The few good reveiews they have received seem like freak accidents at best. I would pay a few dollars extra in a heartbeat to not have to deal with something so blatantly troublesome. As amazing as it may seem, they have no shame in screwing people."
"I ordered a Panasonic DVD/VCR recorder - it was supposedly shipped 12/2/05 by Fedex. When I didn't receive by 12/6/05, I called Fedex & they inbformed me the shipment was lost & that shipper should initiate a claim with Fedex & ship a replacement. As of 12/15/05 I have not rec'd replacement. Unable to contact Digital 1234 by phone (800-914-9008 is a recording but no one returns call) or e-mail. I tried reaching them by regular mail at the Ledgewood, NJ address but mail was returned by USPS as "no such address". I also e-mailed New Jersey Better Business & rec'd a reply that they can find no record of this vendor either. I already paid for this item by credit card (credit card issued a credit pending investigation). Meanwhile I do not know if I should purchase a dvd/vcr from another vendor & risk that Digital 1234 will eventually send me a replacement. I would strongly advise that no one does business with this company."
"In my case the pros are: - good prices - fast e-mail responses The cons are: - late shipment - "no returns" policy (in my case item arrived nicely packaged, without visible damage, but when the next day when it was connected and turned on it did not work, and now I have to go through the painful process of warranty service that, lets hope, won't have to be repeated every now and then). Not a pleasant situation for a $3000 purchase. "
"I ordered the Toshiba dvd recorder with HDD RDXS32. It was defective . I had requested an exchange. After two emails (the only way to communicate ) without response, I have decided to write to my credit card to stop payment.

Has policy of cancelling orders if not filled in 25 days, so expect this happens a lot. Help desk & cancellation desk addresses inoperative. Extremely Draconian return policy - there is none - "You bought it, you keep it." Suspect this is some guy operating out of his parents' spare bedroom, getting enough money together BEFORE he orders SOME of the products."
"This store was a nightmare to deal with. My order was to be shipped in two days but was two weeks. No notifications on shippment dates untill the trucking company called. the dvd/vcr I ordered was substituted for a lesser valued product and they billed me full price. Billed me for a tv stand they did not deliver and that took weeks to get a credit. There is no phone number posted, e-mails are, for the most part, ignored. Please do not do anything with this company! "

Contacted Digital 1234 on 08/28/05 regarding order status via E-mail. Canceled order on 08/29/05 due to no reply to previous inquiry. Digital 1234 shipped and charged my account on 09/01/05. They do not respond to customer requests or issues. This company should not be allowed to do E-business."
"I had order one MP3 player, and waited for shipping for a week. I hadn't heard any words from the Digital1234, so I emailed to them. I finally got the reply from them. Their email was so simple one word. "Cancelled" no detail, do reason, they just emailed back to me with only "One Word - Cancelled" they just screwed my birthday present~! "Most frustrating company I have ordered from. I ordered a Minolta Dimage G600 from another store. It turned out they did not have it in stock & I needed it for the holidays. I canceled it and ordered it from Digital1234. Stupid. I am still waiting. Shipping got messed up by them. It is still wandering about the country. It took 5 emails to get a response. They were read, but no one replied. The replies when they finally did are not very friendly. They had the best price, but I would rather pay more for better pr. I don't recommend. Hopefully I will get my camera by Christmas!! and than I also ordered the 5 year warranty. Hope it is a separate company."
"not be processed" Since I could not place the order and did not receive any indication that an order could have been placed, I moved on to another site that did work propperly. A few days later I received an email from Digital 1234.com stating that my order had been shipped. I emailed them several times with all info explaining that I was not able to order from their site. To this date (Mar 10th 2005) thet have refused to even respond to any of the emails that I have sent to them. I can return the product to because they make absolutely sure that no return address appears on their site or on any packaging. Customer service is suspect at best or may not even exist at all. You should at the very least be able to communicate with someone somehow sometime. At this time I would reccomend this site to anyone. If the slightest thing goes wrong with your order you could be screwed like me."
