"I ordered an Intel Q6700 Core 2 Quad 2.66ghz cpu from Digiconcepts, but only after I contacted their customer support to help make sure it was the correct processor. From day one, DigiConcepts treated me like royalty. The shipping was fast and free, there was no tax even though I live in the state where they ship from, and the customer support rep, Lori, was quick to respond and very friendly. After ordering the chip, she was quick to offer some accessories to help me with the install of the new chip, which was a very nice touch. She kept me informed of the status of my order the whole way through delivery to my house. Once the chip arrived, I had some concerns about it that I had expressed to customer service. She was very quick to respond again, even after normal business hours, and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. "I recently decided to upgrade my year old discount computer system. It was something I had done in the past and wanted to renew an old hobby. Researching my existing motherboard I discovered that it would support a higher end CPU chip. That led me to digiconcepts which had a good deal on it. Once received, the troubles started. I installed the new CPU and nothing worked. Consulting some guru friends I chose the most reasonable solution and upgraded the power supply. This had no effect on the problem. In frustration I turned to a computer tech to debug. His conclusion was the new chip was bad (the video card now also failed.)This led me to Michael at digiconcepts. He suspected the problem was not the new CPU but the mother board which he discovered to be a dubious bargain basement product. Now in fairness the board had done fine in the original system but the specs declared it could handle the upgraded line. Michael suggested a new board would be the better way out. I took him up on it and he then researched for my specs and found a prospect at a competitive price. I went for it.He then offered to check my components against the mother board in order to eliminate any actual faulty parts. I shipped him my new CPU, the supposed defunct video card and the memory modules. He tested them on the new board to now find all was OK. It was my old motherboard after all that was the problem.The new mother board and the old components are now on their way back to their home and will be my new and improved system.What I've learned from this experience: In a competitive market one generally gets what one pays for. When it comes to hobbies, knowledge is just as valuable as money. And nothing is more valuable than a good friend. Michael at digiconcepts is such a friend. He's somebody you can trust."
