"I am very disappointed in this company. I placed an order online for a set of finger exercisers ($19.95). The next day I got an e-mail telling me it was on manufacturer's backorder with no date, therefore they were cancelling my order. Two days later, the same set of exercisers are on their website for $79.94 and they are "in stock and ready to ship next day." When I called to complain, I got an ansering machine (during their regular business hours). I've contacted the FTC to complain, because they will not honor their advertised price or even admit they made a mistake. Stay away from these people. They are dishonest."
"All I can say is buyer beware! I ordered 2 boxes of Medline Medfix Dressing Retention Sheets, 6 inch x 11 yard roll (Med-MSC4006) from them.
I called before I ordered to make sure I would get the Dressing Retention Sheet because I ordered it online from a different store & got Non-Woven Tape instead & when I used it, I noticed it had a different texture, it started rolling from the edges every time I used it and then I started getting an irritation from the tape, so it's definitely not the same! I was told when I called I would get the Dressing Retention Sheet, not Non-Woven Tape.
I'm a quadriplegic using it on a pressure sore and can't afford to get any more. Looking at my old box and the box you sent my old box has "Medfix Dressing Retention Sheets" where the box they sent me is "Medfix Non-Woven Tape".
Now I'm ticked off that they sent me the wrong stuff also, especially since I called first. I paid $50.89 for a product I'm not able to use, and when you're on a limited income, every penny counts! I'm also going to have to buy the Dressing Retention Sheet locally & they rip me off by charging $56 a box, which is why I'm trying to buy it online!
I e-mailed them basically everything I wrote above and then some as well as sending them pictures of what I had purchased locally and ordered from them, which is pictured on their website and what they sent me. And they called and told me they do not give refunds because its medical and they could not resell it and Medline would not take it back either. I told them "That's funny, US Family Medical sent me the same stuff and when I e-mailed them, they gave me a full refund and sent me a packing slip for the wrong item." They're only reply that was "Well different online stores have different policies and ours is no refunds!"
So even though it was their mistake by sending the wrong item. I'm stuck with two boxes of tape that I can't use!
Needless to say, I'll never be buying from them again!"
