posted Jun-18-2010 “Buyer ordered an item that ended up being short in stock. We offered a replacement to the same unit, but the 2010 model, or a refund at his request.”
"Order placed online on 07/05/09. My credit card was processed for the entire amount. After not receiving any shipment confirmation email, I contacted the company. I received a reply to my email stating the order would be shipped by the end of the week. This went on for 4 weeks. I never received any emails from DCCA, only untimely replies to my emails. Each one with the same update, the order would be shipped by the end of the week. I finally spoke with "Nader." He said he was within management. He assured me the order would be be shipped by the end of the week. That never happened. Finally on 08/12/09 I cancelled the order. I got tired of waiting for their false promises. In the confirmation email I received from DCCA, it stated the refund would be processed within 7-14 days. It's over 14 days, and I've received no refund. I emailed DCCA on 08/26/09 to get the date they processed the refund. They avoided giving me a date. All they wrote was it was completed. Their customer service is terrible, and their communcation with customers is worse. They deserve to not be in business. Don't buy from them. If you've torn your car apart and are waiting on their shipment, you're going to be upset. Don't make the mistake I did!
09/23/09 - I'VE BEEN REQUESTED BY DEALER COST CAR AUDIO TO UPDATE THIS REVIEW. AFTER FILING A BBB COMPLAINT, DCCA RESPONDED TO THE BBB THAT THE REFUND HAD BEEN PROCESSED. I RESPONDED TO BBB STATING THAT AS OF THE DATE OF THIS WRITING (09/02/09) NO CREDIT HAD BEEN APPLIED TO MY CARD. DCCA RESPONDED WITH A STATEMENT THEY CONTACTED MY BANK AND CONFIRMED A CREDIT HAD BEEN APPLIED. I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THEY CONTACTED MY BANK. I DID FINALLY RECEIVE A CREDIT ON MY CHARGE CARD ON 09/03/09.
IN ALL THE EMAILS, THEY DISPLAYED NO SENSE OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. IN READING THE OTHER COMPLAINTS FOR THIS WEB SITE, I READ THE SAME STORY OVER AND OVER. THEY HAVE PRODUCTS AVAILABLE FOR SALE ON THEIR WEB SITE, THEY DO NOT HAVE THEM IN STOCK, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, AND THEN MAKE PROMISES OF DELIVERY THEY CANNOT KEEP. BEFORE WRITING THIS COMMENT, I CONFIRMED THAT THE PRODUCT I ORDERED IS STILL LISTED ON THEIR WEB SITE. I DOUBT THEY HAVE IT IN STOCK.
