"DO NOT TRUST DEALEXTREME. Ordered a flashlight, which was defective. I returned it, at my cost (they would not reimburse me). They sent another flashlight and it was also defective. I returned it at my cost and they sent a third flashlight. You guessed it - DEFECTIVE. I wrote a negative review on this web-site and received a very apologetic e-mail from DealExtreme's representative, Grace. She promised to take care of the problem. That was almost a year ago. Since then they have sent me fourteen (14) e-mails indicating they are having problems fulfilling my order. I sent Grace an e-mail, but she never replied. AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT. THEY ARE BAD NEWS."

"Excellent, for their chosen bargain niche. Yes, I've also had a customer-service delay, but think about it. For all the small things they sell, and their prices including shipping, how can they have any (multi-lingual) customer service/ returns/ exchanges at all? All my orders have arrived at least as advertised, and often better quality and speed than expected.

Two tips: They seem to be trying to automated away some of the cs delays. Do set up an account with them, and then the order status info can answer many questions.

And when ordering, do allow paypal to share your phone number with DX. If you don't, DX gives you a chance to re-specify it, but then there is some confusion whether the order was placed twice (it was not) or whether DX received the order (It did.)"

"I've never dealt with Dealextreme before, but they had a good price on a light I was interested in. I ordered it on November 30th, and as of today, it has yet to even ship. Perhaps I've been spoiled by Amazon.com and their fast processing, but 9 days merely to ship out my order is unacceptable. Even when I ordered a book from a small, independent Amazon seller, it was shipped out within 2 days.

If the item is out of stock, tell your customers this! If it is back-ordered, tell your customers! I would not have ordered the product if that was the case, but now I simply have no information.

If it doesn't ship within the next day or two, sadly I'm going to have to cancel my order and buy it for more off of eBay; at least then I know someone will actually ship it to me and not sit on my money for over a week. This was my first time shopping at Dealextreme; if this is the way they normally do business, it will be my last."

"This company has proven itself most irresponsible and should be avoided. They insist my parcel is "on the way," when lost for six weeks, and means of resolving the situation almost nonexistant due to extremely poor customer service. Steer clear of these guys!"

IT ALL WORKED OUT IN THE END. VERRRY CHEAP PRICES AND GOOD QUALITY . YOU CANNOT MATCH THE VALUE ON THIS SITE, sure having to take pictures of everything is a little annoying, but it helps to protect against the endless number of dirtbags out there who would try to take advantage. I have had to RMA 3 items so far(out of the 50 or so I bought). I LOVE DEALEXTREME!!! So get your browser over there and prepare to spend at least an hour looking over all the incredible deals. Shipping takes some time but hey it's China to USA AND SHIPPING IS FREE."

"I purchased an HDMI to HDMI/optical audio switcher from Deal Extreme. They sent me the wrong item. In order to return items to them, you have to take a picture of it and the envelope it is sent in and upload it to an e-mail, which I did. Even though they had a picture of the item that stated what the item was, they sent an e-mail back and asked me to describe the item, which I did.
After much e-mailing back and forth (I have copies of all the e-mails), Monica stated that they don't have the item in stock and they would refund my money if I found a way to ship it back to them. She promised to reimburse my shipping costs as well. UPS showed they received it on 1/5. I sent them copies of my receipts from UPS showing the date and cost of shipping. I e-mailed them 3 times from 1/9 and 1/31; they did not respond to any of these e-mails. I later found out by going to their website that they were gone from 1/24 -1/31 for the Chinese New Year, but there was no auto reply to my messages.
After waiting for a month, I finally contacted my credit card company and explained the situation. They were very helpful and stated that I would not be responsible for the purchase price. Only then did I receive an auto reply from Deal Extreme stating that they received a request to cancel the order. When I replied telling them what has been occurring, they replied that the item was shipped on 12/6 and do I have proof that I returned the item. They still have not refunded my money, although I am having the CC company deal with them on that. They also have not refunded the return shipping costs.
Deal Extreme is either staffed by totally incompetent personnel or they are a disreputable company. Either way, my advice is don't do business with them. I wish I would have googled this company before doing business with them, there appear to be other complaints there as well. Their last reply on 2/13 to me stated "sorry the refund may cost a while". I've already waited six weeks and there is still no resolution."

"Last year, in spring, I searched in internet video recorder for my car, I found this site. To begin with decided to make a small order for the test. Everything was delivered on time. Everything was intact. And then I ordered a car DVR. Very pleased! Works fine now! I use DVR every day. After that I made many of orders. Very good technical support. Respond quickly and competently. If the product is out of stock, the money returned quickly.
As once ordered a mp3 player and it does not work. support very quickly responded and offered to refund money or replace. Very good site."

"My experience with DealExtreme has been EXTREMELY BAD. Items were listed as in stock and ordered on 9/23/10. They notified me of a shipment date of 10/3/10 and provided a tracking number. When I emailed them to ask about my non-received shipment on 10/27/10 they sent me an email saying a refund had been sent to my payment account. The dollar amount stated was less than I had paid. Then on 10/28/10 they sent me another email saying the order was shipped to me on 10/27/10; with no mention of the refund. As of 11/26/10 there has been no refund and no receipt of order. DealExtreme gave PayPal a tracking number in response to my complaint. This tracking number was given to PayPal on 11/24/10 and is exactly the same number given to me on 10/3/10. All I want is my money back and all DealExtreme wants is to play delay games while keeping my money and not shipping my items which I can readily get elsewhere with no delay and no games."

"I, like many others, have become an unfortunate victim of DealExtreme's poor business practices. I ordered a plastic case for a hard drive (in stock) a few days after Christmas 2011, and still have yet to even receive a shipping notification (February 2nd, 2012). That didn't stop them from immediately collecting my payment after purchase though.

I ended up ordering the same product (for a little more money), from a famous online retailer. I received that item just 3 days after ordering it, and it has been in use for a couple of weeks now.

I tried to cancel my order with DealExtreme multiple times through live chat, e-mail, and phone, but was never contacted in any way.

Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from DealExtreme."

Rule say can not do this if from company ??

I not understand how this happen

My ecsperience they lie, cheat very much with order like mine, then try to make same explain in post on this site. But peeple not stupid.

Do not be fool by good review here - many come from DX peeple."
