very good prices, very bad customer support.  
 
i did more than 60 orders at dealextreme, USED to be a good site to shop. but in september, everything changed. problems started to appear, and then, more problems, and then, more problems. shopping there become almost impossible. i got missing orders, that take a month for they to fix. product stock info is a joke, you can't trust any info. they don't post my reviews, they don't post my products photos, customer service take weeks to respond if they respond, all the time you have to go to forums to try to talk to someone for a problem fix, some of my orders where stuck for a month even after being packaged for shipping. i got a product with $30 value, and was DOA. after complain to them, make a video to proof the defect, they offer a $5 refund. they like to do this, they send you something broken, and like to offer you a small value for "refund". you have to complain more and more to get full refund or make them ship another product, and this take weeks....  
 
i have to cancel half of my latest orders cause they didn't ship half of it after long weeks and weeks, even with all products in stock, as they say...  
 
but again, i found another shopping like this, with amazing prices and very good service (like focalprice). lot of my orders i got next day shipping!!! so, now dealextreme is the last source for me.  
 
do yourself a favor, look for other sites with good prices and free shipping, you will find much better ones, and some, with even cheaper prices, but still, with very good customer support.

I've been ordering products from DealExtreme for quite awhile with no issues. Last week, I received an MP3 player DOA. I notify customer service and they shipped a replacement unit right away. That's what I call good customer service!

HI,i'd just like to let everyone know about my experience shopping at dealextreme.My last order came extremely fast ordered on the 6 of november,and it was at my door on the 18th november,very fast considering it is a busy time of year.all items i ordered where there and i ordered fifteen items.only ever had one problem while i have been shopping at dealextreme and that was taken care of within two days,very happy with dealextreme customer support very fast in my experience.It is a great store with thousands of items to choose from.I have reccomended them to friends and now they cant get enough of it.:)

I made an order in April, they did not have the product of course. Over the course of the next seven months I have tried repeatedly to get anything shipped, but they are always out of the product I want. A refund is out of the question, they can't do anything since it has been over 60 days. When I ask for a refund they simply do not reply and wait for me to try and request another item they do not have. You are better off just burning your money, at least you can see it leave.

I*am order some items which are sold out. I'll wait 3 weeks for package, but not come. Then I go to see order tracking and there write that item is sold out. I send e-mail to custom service and then we arrange what I bay instead of product who is sold.  
 
Till now I most pleased with response and help. Still to buy in this shop.

This was my second purchase from DealExtreme. My previous order was as smooth as it could be. My order arrived in 2 weeks.  
 
I had a problem with my second order, the order I am reviewing here. I received an empty envelope after the usual 2 week shipping time. I filed a "missing order" ticket through DX's customer service web page. I received a response after the weekend, asking me to provide additional information such as a photo of the envelope received. I followed their instruction and the next day I received another response stating that DX would send me another package, and they would tell the warehouse to accelerate the process. Finally I received the new shipment in exactly 1 week. I am very satisfied with my experience with DealExtreme.

DealExtreme is a total rip-off company! If you have given them money they no longer are interested in helping you in any way and no Customer Service department even exists.... You are screwed.  
They took my 139$US and never delivered the products and have refused to even answer a single request for help or a refund. I have sent them 9 requests over the past 5 weeks with not a single response.  
NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM DEALEXTREME - PERIOD !!!!  
 
Blog them forever as a total bunch of mendicants - help stop these jerks from stealing from others in the future - it is all we can do!

I bought a lot of stuffs at DX and, on every order, the products were not ready to ship and takes about 2 weeks to DX ship them.  
Once I need to make a RMA on product - Dream DM-Box DM500S DVB-S - because it did not worked. About 2 months after, and none of them give a satisfactory response (order# 08298T7Z).  
Finnaly, the products always arrives (off time).

I'm soon at my 30th order with DX. They have always delivered everything I ordered. Sometimes it ships really fast, and sometimes it takes a while. I'm a patient man so it dontbother me to wait some weeks for my stuff. I prefer to get it cheap before getting it tomorrow and paying double price.  
 
Once I recieved a item that broke due to some electrical malfunction, the very first day I used it. I used the online RMA service and filled out a complaint. DX promptly provided me with a replacement at not cost.  
 
My last order had a item missing. I used the online service form (CSE), and they fixed the error in less than 24 hours. The solution was to add the missing item to another order I'we been waiting for. Great by me.  
 
I'm really, really satisfied with the service and the polite staff at DX.

DX - DealExtreme is a fantastic company to work with. The prices are at least 90% of their merchandise is WAY below other retailers. The only caveat is the merchandise takes 7-10 days to arrive because the products are shipped from overseas; which is no big deal.  
 
DX has great customer service. I've never had an issue making a return, getting store credit, and in general getting a hold of a customer service agent.  
 
Feel free to browse and order ONE ITEM to try them out. Where else can you get a disappearing ink pen with UV light to see what you write shipped to your door for around a buck? No where.

I have been ordering from DealExtreme for the past 4 months. My experiences have been as follows:  
number of orders: 7  
orders with problems: 2  
While that would normally keep me from coming back, DealExtreme has been excellent in replacing broken or missing items in both of the messed up orders (one was a case of packing the wrong item, the other was broken in shipping). For this reason, I continue to order from them. Their parts aren't of the highest quality, and their shipping is slow (though their shipping method is stated directly on their site, so you should already expect this; they give you the option to pay more for faster shipping). The value for the money can't be beat. Good job DX. They're not the best (don't expect outstanding products), but they're definitely very good.

Misleading or/and false advertising. Product doesn't work, advertises unavailable items. Money not refunded. Poor quality customer service.
