"dealextreme used to have fast and amazing shipping. i ordered items from them about 2 years or more ago and my item arrived in around 2 weeks.
i ordered again from them around february and it took nearly 2-3 MONTHS for my items to arrive.....shipping is very slow now and i have read many reviews where people have been complaining about their shipping speed. i have purchased items from another site overseas way after and it only took around 2 weeks for the items to come... "

"As long as I shop at DX (more than a year), all My Order filled with good even though sometimes there are some products that require time to wait for a few weeks but it does not really matter to me. The most powerful is its customer service, so DX staff response to each complaint. I faced several problems (item sent was not enough, out of stock) and everything can be solved in the most wise in accordance with the wishes of the buyer. You just need a little time to communicate with their staff (and show little evidence of the contents of the package) DX staff will then check for a moment then quickly they will offer a way out. And I think this is a highly dedicated customer service from DX."

"Know they will be slow, and you'll be happy,

This place usually has nothing, or almost-nothing in stock, and they order it from the manufacturer after you place your order. This keeps the items cheap.

Since they offer free shipping, they want to minimize the amount of shipping they pay for. If you order 10 items and 1 takes a month and a half to get from the manufacturer, the whole order will wait a month and a half before shipping.

I've received broken items, and items that were mis-represented, and DX always has replaced them for me, for free, with minimal hassle.

As to the comments about their customer service, English isn't their first language. Probably not their second or third either. Be patient, use simple grammar, and they will understand.

If you're in a hurry, don't order from DX. If you're OK waiting, but want your items as fast as possible, split it into multiple orders."

"I am a new DealExtreme customer, a friend of mine made some purchases on DealExtreme and recommended me to use DealExtreme. His package arrived within 2 weeks, but mine is estimated to arrive within 2 months.

I ordered on 03/23/2012, the DealExtreme customer representative wants me to wait 2 months for my order, nothing has arrived yet. My PayPal dispute period would end soon.

So I started the PayPal dispute, no response from DealExtreme. I guess they don't care about the customer, and they do this often to other customers. "

"The dx.com has a forum. I posted a message on the forum and was banned without a just reason, my message was within the rules of the forum. This is the second time this same moderator (LAL) I nehum bane without warning, the staff released the first in my posts, but this time I complained to the staff and received responses absurd. I explained everything and Waneta wu attendant asked me something totally different, it seems that not even read my message .. Repeated three times and the explanation I received a reply absurd, without giving a solution. If the staff of the doubts of my DX version, see the ticket 8045B578D8E6D6E3. My intention in messages is to help consumers and give my opinion. Do not offend anyone. According to its own moderator, the staff of dx.com not read the messages in these threads because they do not understand the Portuguese that is used in posts, so I think he can give any excuse to ban those who do not please. This is the only explanation for the fact that I found a personal reason.

I regret having given dozens of people to buy in dx.com, today they charge me on services, care and treatment they are receiving the dx.com, like me. Sell ??products that do not have in stock, and wait the client can reach 30 days. Mislead the customer claiming to have the product in stock, but after the client has paid to wait for delivery. Takes to meet the tickets. Just ask for patience, use the Chinese New Year as an excuse for delays and any other holiday. That delays are anyway.

Just worry about breaking records of products for sale, put more than 100 products nosvos per day to sell, just do not stock them, prefer to receive payment from the customer and eDo not buy the products. Because each supplier sells a minimum quantity of items, the delay is certain, they have to gather a large number of orders for the same item to buy from the supplier and have a bigger discount, increasing your profit. They claim they have changed the system, site, but these changes only affect the most consumers because they use it as an excuse for bad service and delays. Everything is an excuse for them.

Anyone who doubts what I'm saying here, between the forum and see the amount of consumer complaints and see how the moderators act.

Do not recommend. Buy in dx.com is a lottery. If you're lucky, they send your order without delay.

I've bought and made in dx.com orders through relatives also have more than two years he bought, but now after all these problems, I stopped buying and my friends and family will leave too."

"Customer service is terrible. I typically took 30-45 minutes to get connected to agent using their on line chat. When contacted they repeated said give us a few more days, Although everything was listed as in stock, after two weeks was told only 4 of 9 where in inventory. After 19 day and still not shipped I was told again give it another week. I therefore canceled my order. I paid using Paypal and had the thought if they stretched the shipment beyond the 45 days Paypal allows to file a complaint, I be screwed.
To their credit they refunded me in full within 1 day. Note I did file a claim with Paypal ."

"I have been very disappointed with Deal Extreme. I never received my order from 2/19/2012. I contacted their "customer service" department. It took three weeks for them to even acknowledge my complaint. The only thing they have consistently said is wait some more. I waited and "Wendy" said to wait again and if I don't receive it soon to contact them again. I contacted them again and they said that they would check with Hong Kong Post. I was asked to wait again and contact them after one more week if I don't receive the package. That was three weeks ago. Two weeks ago, I contacted them to inform them that I never received my order. I never heard from them again. "

"I ordered some headphones at DealExtreme.com.
The waiting was expected to be two months, so I accepted that and waited two months. After four and a half months had passed I eventually canceled my shipment. I had been very patient, but there are limits. So I requested a refund, but the customer service was so bold to ask if I wanted to be refunded in store credits! H*ll no, I ain't ordering anything ever again at DealExtreme.com nor DX.com"
