"Ordered an HP toner cartridge on 5/6/12 (Sunday), waiting until following Friday to check status thinking 5 business days should be plenty of time for it to have shipped already. And all website said was order status "processing". Emailed customer care 5/11/12 for status question their "processing" status after 5 days. Got response... "I confirm order xxxxxxxx placed and will ship within 24 hours via UPS from our Dallas warehouse. I apologize for the delay in shipping of package due to unforeseen circumstances which is not a normal practice of Databazaar." I waited the 24 hours and checked the status again, but it was still "processing", so on 5/16 email for status again. This time same pre-canned response again, "I confirm order xxxxxx placed and will ship within 24 hours via UPS from our Dallas warehouse. I apologize for the delay in shipping of package due to unforeseen circumstances which is not a normal practice of Databazaar" I finally did receive the product on 5/18, which is the same day they finally actually emailed me a tracking number. All the while the website never said anything other than "processing", even now on 5/19 it still shows that same status with no tracking info. This is really bad customer service!! Databazaar get with the program there are hundreds of websites to choose from that immediately post tracking information as soon as it's known, or at least integrate their business with carriers that will email your customers."

"Databazaar must have changed hands and now they are terrible!! I've been ordering the same ink cartridges for several years with free shipping, quick turnaround, good prices and great service. This time I noticed they started charging for shipping which was a bummer but I ordered anyway. After 7 days, no emails saying my order was shipped so I called and talked to a foreigner who said it would ship in 24 hours. Two days later nothing so I called again only to be told it wouldn't ship for 3 more days which was almost 2 weeks after I placed my order. That was enough for me so I cancelled my order and told the person in India I was disappointed and taking my business elsewhere. Too bad!"

"BUYER BEWARE
I ordered 6 ink cartridges and one of them was the wrong size. I notified them and they will make an EXCEPTION , by charging me $4.00 in postage for them to replace the wrong cartridge that they sent in error, and I also will have to pay shipping for the cartridge back to them."

"I ordered 2 inkjet cartridges (1 color and 1 black) from databazaar.com, the site indicated both were in stock. A week later, they informed me 1 of the 2 was NOT in stock, shipped the 1 they did have and issued a credit for the other one, never asking what I, the customer, would prefer. An inkjet printer with 1 cartridge is like a boat anchor. I complained to them twice, once via 3 (three!) support person's e-mail addresses and once via online form submission, stating my displeasure and that I had been a loyal customer, purchasing over $825 worth of toNer & ink from them in 4 years. They ignored all my pleas and replied the case was closed. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU CONSIDER BUYING YOUR ITEMS ELSEWHERE AS DATABAZAAR.COM HAS NO IDEA OF WHAT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS.

UPDATE 5/8/12:
After I reviewed this merchant on 4/30, they finally contacted me and offered a full refund for the item shipped and sent me a prepaid return label. Although it took lots of prodding on my part, in all fairness it looks like they want to make a sincere effort to please me and improve their customer service. I will continue to order from them but I'm keeping a close eye on them, in other words, 'the jury is still out.'"

"Beginning of April, I placed an order for two toner cartridges which seemed basic enough. However, it took nearly two weeks to receive the first one, which turned out to be incorrect and needed to be returned. Returning the item was a headache all in itself that included a restocking fee. It's been a month now and I still have not received the second toner. I requested our money back but was ignored and told that the item was 'now being shipped'. Databazar is unorganized and a hassle to do business with. There are other companies we have since found with cheaper office supplies and significantly better customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!"

"I placed an order for four toner cartridges for my fax machine. The cartridges were defective and made a loud grinding noise after about five days of usage. Returned the four cartridges but only received refund for one cartridge. Customer service is poor and this product is substandard."

"These folks could brush up on their honesty and customer service a bit. Website says "call toll free" Apparently they don't care that their number is NOT a toll free number. Their website has a "Live Chat" option. There is no live chat. If you click on it, you simply get a form submission page which will be answered by email. Their email responses range from irrelevant to bizarre. They do not let you know up front if an item is out of stock and/or back ordered. They take the order and acknowledge it and then you find out it is out of stock after you have waited and waited and finally call them to find out what the status is. I finally sent them an email to cancel the order since I no longer needed it, after waiting almost two weeks. They ignored the cancellation and shipped anyway. I would NEVER deal with these people again. They are slimy and their idea of business ethics is quite different than what I look for. "

"Ordered ink on March 25. It was delivered 15 days later. E- mail inquiries received only canned responses. Finally after 12 days an mail saying the order would be shipped in 24 to 48 hours. Databizaar used to be first rate - not anymore! This is the second time within a year I have had this problem with them. There are much better alternatives available. I' ll use them in the future.

"What happened to Databazaar?? I used them for years. They were prompt, well stocked and fast delivery. I recently ordered 3 ink tanks for my canon printer. TEN days later, no product, no email, no notification. So I email the company (I am deaf) and received no reply. The next day I try on line chat. WHAT a joke that is. I logged in no less than 5 times and ultimately was forced to send another email. There IS no on line chat! Finally I get an email telling me of my duplicate request- NO answer, just a canned reply about a duplicate. Finally I call- my last resort. I get a CALL CENTER overseas telling me my order will ship tomorrow- 11 days after they bill me!! The person was polite but the English was impossible to understand. Never again- will shop elsewhere."

" I placed an order for ink jet cartridges and used my Paypal account. Everything seemed great, Databazaar sent order confirmation of my shipping address, products ordered, shipment means and cost figures. Five business days pass and no shipping confirmation, so I email thier customer service to find out why. Thats when I first suspected that they are not legitimate. They claimed to have shipped the ink USPS but it came back for incorrect shipping address. So one email has my shipping info and thier next one is telling me to resubmit the info again? I opted for the refund instead. Paypal has tried to intervene but has had no success as yet. Don't be fooled by low prices and free shipping, because it's all lies and your cash will probably be lost."
