They do not take them back, work or not work, as described or not. I am taking a chance buying a used DVD and MARK signed off on me twice without getting me the manager which I asked for. I had to make a call and spoke to David. It was almost the same thing. I was put on hold. It took one hour the whole thing to hear from DAVID. Their manager said one time return only like it was my fault. I am a customer since 7\/2\/2003. I bought about 2000 dvds from this site(Empire). It was not right for one hour make me go through hell. Their customer service is awful when you have problem which is their own fault. It is like highway robbery. They don\u0027t behave professional. They do not honor their own policy. BUYERS BE AWARE. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT DVD EMPIRE IS THE WAY THEIR SITE IS SET UP. Come 5\/25, no delivery, and tracking info, now said delivery would be on 5\/29. I emailed asking about a refund or credit of the $8 2nd day air fee and was told that my order was received too late for delivery on 5\/25 (no matter what their site originally said) and no refund for you. Amazon, where I placed an order after the DVD Empire order, got my order to me on 5\/25, as they said they would, no problem. "I choose the cheap shipping option where UPS passes the item to the Post Office. The post office lost it, of course. I chatted with Dirk and he arranged a reship without question.
I run an online parts company and when the Post Office looses something, that's a cost the business usually has to eat by reshipping at no charge, the product and shipping.
