"This is my first order from Crutchfield in over 15 years. I checked out the ratings on this web site, as well as a few others, before placing an order for a Sony KDS-60A2000 television. Not many stores had it in stock yet, and I think most of the ones that said they had it in stock actually did not. Either way, it was a Sony product, which means that you aren't going to save a lot of money no matter where you shop. That was the one downside of Crutchfield: you pretty much pay list price for everything, even if it's been out for a year and everybody else has it for half the price.
But the people I talked to were knowledgable of the product, shipping methods and stock. I ordered on a Friday morning at about 11am. I got a call within a minute from Crutchfield to tell me that the order went through fine, and that they hoped to ship it that afternoon. No up-sell or accessory hard sell. Very pleasant. The TV didn't ship until Monday, which was acceptable. It showed up a week and a half later because it went through ground frieght. This was longer than I expected, but still within the bounds of what they told me on the phone.
The TV was in perfect condition, and the delivery people put it right on the stand in my living room. I didn't ask them to hook it up to my stereo to test it out, as I was busy tearning down the existing system to move it into the new TV stand (Sony SU-RS11X).
Overall I had a good experience with Crutchfield."

"Very satisfied customer. Not only was their price on a sony bravia 40v3000 hdtv competitive, it came with a FREE wall mount kit of MY choice. However, the real reason i am writing this review is due to what happened after receipt of the tv. There were two very minor surface blemishes on the front of the television, shipped that way from sony from the factory. The tv operated perfectly; it was just these 2, very small, aesthetic imperfections. Not at all the fault of crutchfield. However, when i called crutchfield to verify that the tv was in fact factory sealed, and therefore the fault of sony, crutchfield nevertheless provided me with an immediate $225.00 credit due to the imperfections. I truly appreciate this level of customer service, in providing a cost adjustment to a customer where the fault was not even theirs. Crutchfield is a very reputable company that does what it takes to make an order right. I will use them again in the future. "
