"Worst Customer Service EVER! Bait & Switch sales tactics; sold me an item online and sent me an invoice with the item correctly described (consistent with the item description and photos as seen online) and then several days later sent a revised invoice in which the item number and confirmation numbers were were still the same but the item description was completely revised (which indicates that someone had to manually revise the description). They then sent me a completely different item, which wasn't even close to the item that I had ordered. Their customer service department confirmed that they had the original item I had ordered in stick, but refused to replace the bait & switch product and / or substitute another item of like kind & quality. I had to do battle just to get a refund. I spent about ten hours of my time trying to deal with their customer service department and package and return the bait & switch product. This is the WORST on-line shopping experience I have ever had and will never do business with them ever again - would not recommend them, even to my worst enemy. You've been warned..."

“Your account of what transpired is simply not true. You placed an order for an item on our website and when you received the shipment from the warehouse it was not the correct item. You contacted us on the evening of May 2, 2012 to let us know that you received the wrong item. On the morning of May 3, 2012 our representative contacted you to apologize and let you know this was a website error. An RMA was issued for the item to be returned, a pre-paid shipping label was sent and you were to receive a complete refund with us paying all shipping charges. Instead you demanded that an item that was $100 more be shipped to you. We explained that unfortunately we would not be able to do that but that you would be receive a full refund on the incorrect item. I will let the thousands of positive reviews of us speak for themselves.”

“Your order was placed during the evening of May 3rd after business hours and came into our system for processing on Friday May 4th. Your order was processed and shipped from the warehouse on May 8th and was delivered on May 14th. This means your order was processed in two business days and delivered in four business days with free shipping. This is well under the three business days for processing and seven business days for delivery you were quoted and that is stated on our website. I fail to see how you were lied to.”

"My 2nd purchase. The first fan broke within a month, but we loved its performance so much we decided to give it a second try. Hopefully this one lasts. As far as shipping goes - arrived perfectly, and quickly! "

"Ordered a 60" Sharp LCD TV online from Cost Central after evaluating several local and online stores. I had read many reviews and anticipated the next-day phone call wanting me to upgrade shipping, buy cables, etc, so I wrote in the "notes" section of my order that I did not want any such upgrades or additional equipment. When the guy did call, he already had that information and did not pressure me for any other service or product. He did inform me about the delivery acceptance policy, twice, though. Shipping was to be in 3 days and delivery in a little over a week. Was notified by my credit card company that the charge went in 3 days after ordering, and the TV was delivered 10 days after placing my order online.
I was told I'd receive a phone call 24 hours prior to the delivery. Instead, I found a copy of the invoice in my door (on day 9) stating they attempted to deliver, but nobody was home. I called the trucking company immediately and was told they could deliver it the next day. They thought they were delivering to a business address, and did not have my phone number (although I provided that to Cost Central when I ordered the TV).
I called the next morning and was given a delivery time range, and was told I'd get a call one hour prior. And that did happen. Got a call at 12:30 and the truck pulled up out front at 1:45.
The driver carefully unloaded the TV and even wheeled it into my garage where I was prepared to unbox it, plug it in, and make sure it worked before signing the release form. He even helped me unpackage and test it. Then I signed the release paper and he left.
Minor glitch with the lack of phone number, but overall, a very positive purchase experience at a very good price. Loving my new toy. Would definitely buy from Cost Central again."

"I was searching for a desktop scanner for everyday use and to archive our recently discovered slides and negatives. When I found the model I wanted I did several site searches to find who had it in stock for a good price and had good customer service. Cost Central was the top choice. Shortly after ordering I realized that my payment vehicle had the wrong shipping address. Cost Central canceled my first order, refunded the money and re-instituted a new order. The scanner was received ahead of when it was promised. I will definitely be using Cost Central again in the future. "
