"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Just like others before me.... CROOKS! I ordered a keyboard, which eventually arrived a month later... AFTER I threatened to sue them and report them for fraud. (here I am now 8 months later and $100 down the drain, it's broken and I'm not even attempting to deal with them.) The next month after my purchase, I too had the $29 membership charge on my account that I never signed up for. I went straight to my bank and had the charge reversed and after several attempts got them to confirm in writing they would not ding my card again. Worst company I have ever dealt with. My emails to them literally told them they sucked and I would sue if they did not respond. A meek person will lose their money for sure. RE THE SURVEY.. I'm only clicking one star because -100 is not available!"

"These guys are crooks. I used a coupon to save on shipping and there was no notice saying that I will be signed up for a trial membership. After my order was placed, I didn't even get an email welcoming to the trial membership (which most sites do). Contacting customer support was hopeless. They pretend they care and even told me that I can pay the $8.99 shipping fee (for a PSP Vita game) and they will cancel my membership instead of paying the $29 membership fee. I agreed and never heard back from them. I sent them several followup emails and they were all ignore.

So in the end, to save a few bucks on shipping, I ended up paying the price of almost a second PSP Vita game. I will NEVER shop with these guys again and hope they go out of business soon for such bad business ethics.

I advise everyone to steer clear from this site even though their prices may seem to be "cheaper" you will end up paying more in the end. Spend your money on some other more reputable website instead.

"Great price, order arrived on time and was as advertised. However, I had an unexplained charge of $29 on the following month's credit card bill that I still have not received an answer to. I will be denying the charge through my credit card company."

"Bait and switch. Ordered several items, received priciest one, they kept the others. Was issued auto-refund for one of those unshipped items but they have suddenly gone off the grid since. No 800 number, no direct email addresses, broken website, no way to contact a person. Just want my money back."

"NEVER buy from this total rip off company !! I cancelled an order because they could not get the monitor they advertised, and then they tried to sell me a more expensive one instead. Then, two days after they acknowledged my cancellation, they charged my credit card. Now more than a month later and dozens of unanswered emails they still have not given me my money back. I have had to file a disputed charge claim with my credit card company."

"I called a few weeks back to cancel the membership that they charged me that I was completely unaware of so they agreed to return my membership fee charge, but had to then charge me shipping. They charged me shipping and then charged my card for another membership fee rather than refunding me that amount. I have tried emailing them as you can no longer call them (no number on the site) and they have never responded after multiple attempts. I ended up paying twice as much for my item due to these membership costs which were never even mentioned when I purchased my item. This place is a scam and they should be sued!"

"Quoted price via website, charged more than amount quoted, item never shipped, no response to multiple emails and voice mails.

1) I was billed a "shipping surcharge" that did not appear anywhere in the quoted price

2) Item was listed as "in stock". My Ccard was charged, and then I was notified that it was not available.

3) I was promised a weekly update by Kristi of Customer Care. This never came.

4) After a couple weeks, I requested an update on order status. None of my emails or voice messages were returned.

5) Repeated calls to their support line, 866-912-9222, result in being put on hold briefly, then sent to voice mail. No way to contact a real person, and the voice messages are not returned.

6) Finally, I requested my order be canceled and the amount they billed to be credited to my Ccard. As before, no response.

"DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! This company is a scam. I bought an item from them for $43 and they immediately charged my credit card. They have never delivered my item. They shut their website down saying they are "performing maintenance" and left their phone voice mail full so you can't contact them. They even removed their phone number from the website so I found it on the Better Business Bureau website. Still can't get a hold of them. "

"Total disaster.

I placed an order to buy a laptop 24 Sept 2013. One week later, I cancel the order because it was still in "Processing". I received the email with the cancellation enquire and, the day after, I was charged by the amount of USD 635.

Nobody has reply the emails, nobody attend the telephone, I worry I have "loose" USD 635...

"SCAM website! I bought something from them a couple of months back. Last week I got an email saying that I now had a "premier" account with them and that the email was also an invoice for $29/year membership fee. I never signed-up for any such thing! They just went ahead and charged my credit card. I sent them an email about it but no one has reponded. I also tried calling them but it is forwarded to a voicemail box that is full. They are just out to rip people off. Looks like their MO is to get your credit card number from a cheap transaction and then hook you onto a $29/year membership without your authorization."

"Suck. Bought a computer for my mom, two day mailer so she could get it cause she just got a new phone and needed a computer to set up her wireless network(mailed her a router). website was down for 5 days after, finally came up and still "processing". read fine print. two day mail is only when theyre done "assembling" a product.... how do you need to assemble an already premade computer from another company? Called with messages, nothing. emailed. nothing. my mom is sitting there with her iphone not able to do all the things she needs cause she has no Wifi. This company sucks."

"I have ordered twice from CostCaptain with good service and delivery on the 1st order. The 2nd order was placed on 08/30 and I received 1 of the 2 items I ordered on 09/12. There was no explanation as to why I received only 1 item (the order was for 2 of the same item) and when I would receive the 2nd item. After emailing them twice I finally got a response that the item was out of stock and I would receive it as soon as it was in their stock. To date I have not received the item and I really do not expect to get it.
This week my credit card was billed $29.00 for a Premier membership that I did not approve, order or want. I contacted my credit card company and have place a dispute against Cost Captain regarding the unauthorized charge.
I will not do business with Cost Captain again.
