When using the link said the order does not match anything in their records. A phone call to there customer service line 5 days later told me they were having issues with their order system but that the items had shipped the previous day. Another call to customer service a week later I found out that they had shipped the items from out of state to there office in New York State rather than to me. Was told that they cannot ship via UPS to Canada (even though I had paid for UPS) and they would have to send it out via regular post and I would get it sometime the following week. "Terrible company with poor communication. Ordered an item and waited a couple of days then contacted the company to check order status. Was told item was on backorder. I cancelled the order and eventually ended up ordering a different item from copsplus. Found a large number of bad reviews about the company and decided to cancel my order. I was told that I would not be charged for the item and that it was cancelled. Two days later I notice in my checking account that there was a partial charge from copsplus. I also received an email from them on the same day stating that they made a mistake and the item was shipped out even though I made two attempts (email and phone call) to cancel the order before it shipped and was told that it was cancelled before it shipped.
I contacted copsplus and the rep was rude but eventually told me that he would contact their "accounting" dept and have them issue a credit and that I would not be charged for the item. I also asked the rep why the item would be sent out approximately 31 hours after I had made a second attempt to cancel the order and he replied, "we can't help that. We are located in New York and our warehouse is located in Michigan". Later the next day, I'm going through my checking account and find that I was charged for the full price of the item, only hours after speaking with the customer service rep who told me that I would not be charged.
I have filed a complaint with the BBB and a charge dispute with my bank.
COMPLAINT UPDATE: I was issued a refund from cops plus. I would still never do business with the company again. A serious lack of communication on their part and poor customer service.
UPDATE 04/01/13: Looked at my bank account yesterday and discovered that copsplus STOLE $73.30 from my account. This company is completely crooked. STAY AWAY!"
