"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. This company does not keep any items in stock, rather just drop ships to you from vendors. This process in reality takes 7 to 10 days. If you have weeks to wait to receive items, go ahead and order. If you are on a deadline they will never make it, and then charge you a 15% restocking fee if you have to return the items because you were forced to order them from another company that actually cared about customer service. Customer Service Representatives must be told or trained to be as rude and condescending as possible. I'm very dissatisfied with their service and will write a review such as this anywhere I can."

"Not happy at all. After a week of only being told that my order was "in stock" and at their distribution center, I wrote the customer service and asked if my order had shipped. in response I revived a generic e-mail with links to the same things I had already been looking at on the site. 6 days after the order had been placed, I checked the order status and found that my items are back ordered. i did not even get an e-mail saying that my order was back ordered. it seems that this is the only way to get a response from them, when they are going to have defend themselves,"

“Our site does not show stock status. We do apologize for the confusion as orders will not be marked as backordered until it has been forwarded to our distribution center. Your safariland holster is currently on backordered and we have contacted the manufacturer to get an estimated time of arrival for your holster and will notify you as soon as we hear back from them. "I placed a order with this company and they charged my creditcard and then told me almost 10 days later that my my order was back ordered. They couldn't tell me that the next day? I had to call 20 times and I always got the run around. I just got off the phone and they said they will refund my order. I hope I do get the refund"

"I ordered a benchmade bm-42 knife from CopsPlus. Several places were out of stock so I figured I was lucky to find it at CopsPlus... as it turned out, they didn't have it either. They just didn't mention that it's out of stock anywhere until after the order is placed and the credit card is charged. The 'order status' page seems to automatically increment the 'estimated ship date' so that it always claims the item will ship this week. Multiple emails to customer service over a period of days went without any response whatsoever (besides the immediate automatic response). I attempted to cancel my order but, naturally, have heard nothing back from CopsPlus. I will be calling my credit card tonight to contest the charges."

"I work in a buisness that is very customer service orientated, and have had to deal with many angry customers (sometimes unreasonable customers). So typicaly I give the merchant the benefit of the doubt.

I ordered an item, and then found out (after I placed the order) that it was on backorder. Since they gave me an estimated ship date, (about ten days after I placed the order) I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, now it's been four months and five days, and I still haven't received the order. Everytime I email them, they respond realivily quick, so I can't complain about that. But I would have liked to have known about the backorder, BEFORE the order was placed!

Now when I check my order status, it says, "Estimated ship date: Friday, December 14 2007". That was TEN days ago! So what does that mean!?"

"Order delayed, promised, delayed, more promise, more delay. Canceled order finally on Jan 25, no refund received.

"Horrible experience. Order placed 12/20/07. One item shipped 1/2/08. The other one gave a backorder date of like January 8th, then was updated to january 28th or something. Either way the service was horrible. I had to send 3 e-mails before I got any response. They cancelled the second item for me and said I would receive credit on my next statment... They refunded $13.60 when the item cost $22.47 plus tax. Makes no sense. A very unreliable merchant. They also only had answering machines the one day I tried to get a hold of them during business hours. Spend the extra few dollars and order from galls. Their prices are not worth the hassle if they can't deliver in a timely manner and can only do correct math when figuring out your bill and not your return."

"I Had Ordered Items from this Site before and had no problems until i ordered a "Blackhawk 4306 Level 3 Tactical SERPA Holster" i ordered it on September 17,2010. well i am updating this on the 30th of December to say i received my order today. now it was late because of Blackhawk didn't have the item in stock and it would get it in December. so it isn't CopsPlus fault for the long wait. so when i order again, i know what to expect. now it did say it got backordered to January 11th but the info got updated overnight by UPS so really it arrived on the 30th of December."

"More of the same as outlined below. I made and order, it took 2 days to be processed. I wondered what was up so I e-mailed them. I get a respose stating that it's been sent to New York for processing and will take several days. Finally it shows that half of my items are shipped, the other half are backordered. I wait for roughly 10 days, check my status, and find that the date has been pushed back. Being in a combat zone and having to get to a computer to find out if the items you ordered to do your job are being sent is not easy. Since my items had been pushed back I e-mail "customer service" asking what kind of turn around there is on a credit to my card there is IF I cancel. I get a reply stating that they cancelled the rest of my order. I didn't ask to have it cancelled, just what if.

Beware, there is no indication that items are not in stock. Reading the other reviews it seems they don't stock much and rely on you waiting for them to order it themselves. Customer service is very slow to respond and if yo ask about status they tell you to look at the web site.

Needless to say I will not be conducting business with them in the future and can't honestly enourage you to do so either."
