DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RETAILER!!!!!!
I ordered 6 items on December 18 2009, 3 of them I received it on time without any issues at all, but for other 3 items (ITEMS LISTED AS AVAILABLE) shipping date was changed 3 times (ITEMS WAS ON BACKORDER) First shipping update on 01-01-2010
And again second shipping update 01-18-2010 AND AGAIN THIRD SHIPPING UPDATE!!!!! 01-28-2010 !!!!unbelievable!!!! Finally I called customer service on 01-20-2010 and cancel my order, I was told NO PROBLEM AT ALL and I will resave confirmation e-mail next day (01-21-2010) I have NOT receive anything. So I called again, - what happened with confirmation e-mail??? And then she sands me this e-mail before I finish talk to her over the phone. What was the problem day before to pres the ENTER button to sand me this e-mail COPSPLUS customer representative?????
Completely DISAPPOINTED I will never buy again from these people!!!!!
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS 'COMPANY'. THEY DON'T STOCK ANYTHING, THEY HAVE ACCESS TO A WAREHOUSE IN MICHIGAN THAT THEY PLACE ORDERS TO FROM THEIR OFFICE IN NEW YORK . THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY IMMEDIATELY AND TAKE THEIR TIME CONTACTING THE WAREHOUSE THAT MORE THAN LIKELY SUPPLIES MANY OTHER COMPANIES. IF THE ITEM YOU ORDERED IS NOT AT THE WAREHOUSE THEY WILL NOT LET YOU KNOW, YOU WILL HAVE TO CALL THEM DIRECTLY

I placed a order with this company and they charged my creditcard and then told me almost 10 days later that my my order was back ordered. They couldn't tell me that the next day? I had to call 20 times and I always got the run around. I just got off the phone and they said they will refund my order. I hope I do get the refund

I ordered from cops plus on a tuesday, the black hawk back pack, it was shipped ups on friday,
but ..the tracking was not updated till mon,
so I was a little worried over the weekend, especially reading some of these reviews, but ups,
tracking updated mon morning, itme is in possesion of ups, it'll be delivered tomorrow.
so no problem with my order, it took 8 days, which isnt bad really ordering stuff online.

Ordered a product because of price from this merchant. Kept getting B/O moved out further. Checked with 2 other online sellers and they have stock on same. No reply to first request to update status. Then when backorder was moved a 5th time I requested cancellation. Now I'm getting will ship soon and my 5 requests for cancellation have been ignored, and noone answers any of the phone numbers on website. Just today discovered they charged my card 6 weeks ago for this purchase even though they did not have item. Extremely dissapointed. AVOID this merchant. Filing now a dispute with Visa.

I doubt Cops Plus is a real brick and mortar business. It operates like a very poorly run web-only drop-ship retailer. I strongly discourage anyone from buying from them. You'll PROBABLY get everything you pay for, but expect to wait months.
Placed the order May 15th. Recieved half the stuff promptly, one thing a month and a half later, and still waiting on 2 things. I'll be ordering from somewhere else in the future. None of this stuff is rare or hard to find, theres no reason for a hat to be on backorder for three months. Some emails have been answered, others have not. The email I sent copsplus.com today:
I've spent hundreds of dollars at Copsplus.com.
However, I won't spend another dime with your company.
On May 18, 2009, I placed an order for a Galco magazine holster, order #284791. I paid online and you collected my money immediately.
The next day, I got an email that gave me a link to check my order status. When I checked it, for the first time I was informed that the item was on back order. It was estimated to ship two weeks later.
Two weeks later, it was delayed another week.
A week later, it was delayed another two weeks. Finally, I gave up.
If you cannot deliver an item I've paid for within a month, you don't deserve my money.
I called to cancel on 22 June 2009. I was told it would be two or three days to refund my money.
Finally, on July 2, 2009, I called again. My money has not been refunded. I was treated very rudely by two different customer service representatives who clearly could not care less that it is six weeks after I paid for something and ten days after I asked for my money to be refunded, and I have neither the product nor my money. I was rudely informed today that your company has done all it is going to do and that if I don't have my money I should talk to my bank, it is not your problem any more.
Not only will I never spend another penny with your company, I am now spending my time spreading my troubles with your company on the many, many gun owner forums that I frequent. Already, my posts have been viewed several dozen times by fellow firearms enthusiasts. Copsplus.com is terrible at customer service, and I won't suffer it any longer.

Feb 17th 2009 i ordered two holsters from this place. The one was sent out via UPS WITHOUT my full address, so it spent a week sitting at a HUB in Fl. It is now March 9th and they keep putting my other holster on a back order. They say now it will be shiped March 30th but if it is anything like the last 5 weeks then next week they will back order it once more to another week away. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. This company does not keep any items in stock, rather just drop ships to you from vendors. This process in reality takes 7 to 10 days. If you have weeks to wait to receive items, go ahead and order. If you are on a deadline they will never make it, and then charge you a 15% restocking fee if you have to return the items because you were forced to order them from another company that actually cared about customer service. Customer Service Representatives must be told or trained to be as rude and condescending as possible. I'm very dissatisfied with their service and will write a review such as this anywhere I can.

In short: Do not buy from this retailer!
The say that an item is in-stock, and then it changes to being "backordered" days after the order is placed.
Then, they wouldn't cancel the order. I wound up doing a chargeback through my credit card company, Discover.
I wish I'd read this site before I bought stuff here. If you're reading this, you probably got snookered by CopsPlus.com, too.
Don't feel bad. You're not alone. Just make sure you tell people about this and let your card company know that this "bait and switch" appears to be a common thing for CopsPlus.com.

Be very careful with this company. Placed an order for serveral items and had one item placed on backorder. They did not inform me of the back order. When I learned of it, I attempted to cancel and they told me it was shipped. A week later, I found out it was backordered again. Numerous attempts to cancel were ignored by the company.
Eventually I purchased the item from a local merchant and finally the item arrived. I am now attempting to get credit for the item that should never have been shipped.
Be very careful when dealing with this company.

I ordered a benchmade bm-42 knife from CopsPlus. Several places were out of stock so I figured I was lucky to find it at CopsPlus... as it turned out, they didn't have it either. They just didn't mention that it's out of stock anywhere until after the order is placed and the credit card is charged. The 'order status' page seems to automatically increment the 'estimated ship date' so that it always claims the item will ship this week. Multiple emails to customer service over a period of days went without any response whatsoever (besides the immediate automatic response). I attempted to cancel my order but, naturally, have heard nothing back from CopsPlus. I will be calling my credit card tonight to contest the charges.

I am completely DISAPPOINTED in this store. I ordered my items almost a month ago and have not received them. At their website they did not mention they were out of stock and would bebackordered forever. I called their customer service to inquire about it and they were very rude and unprofessional. It seemed like they could not care less. I will never buy again from these people. I totally DO NOT recomend them to anyone! Please just buy at Galls. It's a hassle free experience...

I do quite a bit of work on the road, so I decided to purchase a Saunders "Cruiser Mate" form holder. These are typically used by law enforcement, so after searching all the stores in my area, I found that CopsPlus Police Supplies had the best price for this item.
I placed an order on the site thinking that the item was in stock. A day after placing the order, I was notified that the item should be shipped out shortly. Several days passed with no updates whatsoever. The "Order Status" page then showed that the item was on backorder, and that it would not be in stock for a few more weeks. This did not sit well with me, so I called CopsPlus's customer service line and requested that the order be canceled and refunded to my credit card. The customer service person informed me that the order would be canceld, and that I should see a full refund within a few days. Thinking that everything was taken care of, I ordered the form holder from an Amazon seller instead...
Amazingly enough, I received a notification the next day that the item was shipped out. Calling customer service resulted in being told off very rudely. In the end, UPS delivered the item and I chose to simply return the item for a refund, eat the 15% restocking fee, and get on with life.
5 days have passed since CopsPlus received my return. Attempts to get status updates from customer service have failed, so it looks like I'll most likely be doing a chargeback on this purchase.

I ordered a Blackhawk Patrol Pack and received it on time without any issues at all. I ordered the backpack before reading all of the negative reviews and to be honest, I was pretty nervous thinking I might have some of the problems previously stated in other reviews...but to my relief, I got the bag without a hitch. Thanks CopsPlus!!!
