I have shopped at Consumer Depot since 2002, and I think they are an excellent place to find generic computer parts and peripherals, including keyboards, mice, CD/DVD drives, etc.  
 
My only complaint is with my most recent order. I purchased a used Samsung clx 3160fn multifunction color laser printer from them for $70. The price was excellent, and the printer is mostly functional. Unfortunately the paper cassette was damaged in shipment as they did not pack the printer properly (it was loose in the box). This means that my printer now has great difficulty in properly feeding paper, simply because they did not take care to properly pack the printer (and I paid almost as much in shipping as I did for the printer!)

i order sony camcorder battery it arrived within a week but i never received a delivery confirmation or a tracking number.

Very very poor service and product. Receiver showed up without 4-pin power connector. I emailed them asking for them to forward the cord ASAP as I had a trip planned and needed the Sirius unit to work. I received an automated response that said return it, which according to their policy I have to pay for shipping and 20% restocking fee all because they did not sell a workable solution. I have left multiple messages and can not get them to call me back. Buyer Beware these folks will rip you off.

Great service and great price. The web site was easy to navigate and use. Shipping was a bit on the high side, but with the price I paid for my merchandise, it was still a great deal. I will absolutely do business with these folks again!

Highest recommendation so far! OverstockDealz knowz for real about the deals. The website in offerings by price and range of products to begin with says serious. I called with a question and received a solid reply which gave me genuine way. I ordered a kinda serious order in cost about $1,700. They've to me cared to make way because I sure appreciated it. All was is slick condition - nothing to complain about. Thankz!

My order came with an advisory, stating that everything had been tested prior to shipping but to please immediately check the items as shipping damage occurs and they would like to fix any problems quickly. No need, because everything worked great! I'll be shopping here again.

Fast shipping. Nice product! Received in good condition. Item is a Philips digital picture frame 7FF1 CMDT. It displays sharp, clear high resolution images. This is just the second time I have ordered from Consumer Depot. I have been very satisfied with both purchases. I bought a little Digital Tv in June. That is working great too!  
I bought this Philips digital frame for an old friend who is computer illiterate, She has no computer, so I wanted to give her a way to view her digital pictures at home. No instruction booklet was included with this frame, as I understood when I bought it, but I could figure out how to work it, along with a little help from reading online reviews. I set up some simple instructions for the friend, and she is working it and loving it. It conveniently uses an SD card , so she can rotate her 2 camera SD cards in the frame, and I can edit her pictures for her on my computer when needed.

Order was shipped quickly, however the item arrived damaged/not fully functional. The guitar (for Guitar Hero 3) has a loose connection between the neck and body (neck is detachable) which means unless you hold the guitar in a certain way to force the connection the fret buttons don't work. The item was advertised as open box, but unused, and as having been tested and fully functional.  
 
This company has awful return policy. Despite the fact that they shipped me a non-working item, the best I could hope for is store credit for the item cost (the $14.74 shipping charge is not reimbursed) and I would have to pay the return shipping myself. They do not replace the item either, store credit is the only option.  
 
While this policy might be understandable once a customer has had the item for several weeks, if an item arrives in a non-working condition, it should be the sellers obligation to correct the issue at no cost to the buyer. Otherwise, this company can knowingly sell broken items. At worst, they make money for the (what must be rather large) "handling" portion of S&H (shipping and handling), as well as from customers who never end up returning the item (I will probably make liberal use of duct tape to "fix" my "like new" guitar.

Be cautious of Overstockdealz. I ordered a USB wireless card, and received a Toshiba laptop power supply. Multiple messages to customer service were misinterpreted and the situation was not addressed. A phone call was never returned. Finally a few emails were exchanged, with no offer of correcting the error, but at least they are promising a full refund-- but they told me to keep the incorrect item, which I have no use for! Hopefully the full refund (plus shipping) will come through, and I can move on from this highly unprofessional retailer.

garbage! I was sold garbage! I spent $600 on a pioneer car stereo, dvd, gps unit and not only did I not recieve the gps antenna, the item quite working after one day. they only offer 14 day return policy on the item yet the recommend professional installation; which is impossible to arrange within the 14 days if you ad in the shipping time. Now I am stuck with this junk.
